My husband received several messages from a Robert Bryant from this number. He didn't say where he was calling from or why, but he left messages every day. He eventually started leaving messages for me (referring to my name) and even called my cell phone. I finally called because it was getting annoying and he started referring to an accident that happened Sept 2010, which neither my husband nor I were involved in. He stated that my husband was involved and I was not on the report, but he would not tell me how exactly he received our information and wouldn't provide a report #. The vehicle that was part of the incident is a truck that we don't and never have owned. The address is/was very close to a previous address we had 2 years ago, but was not an exact match. The location of the accident is/was very close to an address we recently moved out of. The drivers license # he provided me did not match my husband's and he asked me to send proof by faxing a copy of my husband's DL. Sounds like a scam... we are going to file a police report before cooperating with him any further.

SO glad I found this site! I just received a message from this number asking for me, but by my maiden name. I've been married almost 9 years and couldn't figure out who I owed a debt to from that long ago. Called the number back after hours to see who it was and found it to be Insurex. I will definitely be ignoring these calls from now on.

got a call from this company, (caller ID showed Insurex, Inc.; 281-596-0400) telling me that someone i haven't talked to in years left my name as a reference; left a claim number; would not answer any questions about the claim or anything else; identical 'MO" to one of the other posts; people were very rude; left extension 311 (Mrs. Wallace) as the extension to call back; knowing the person they were asking about, it became clear that this is probably a collection company that is looking for a forwarding address or forwarding phone number.

My brother got a call from these idiots asking for me, and passed it along. Fortunately, thanks to this site, I was able to get some information about them. I wouldn't have called them back anyway, but it's still nice to know who they are. Their number has now joined several others on my "Ignore" list, and I told my brother that if they call him again to give them hell--and he will.

My neighbor told me someone had called HER and left message for me to call them about a claim, I havent filed a claim in 12 yrs, havent owned a car in 3 yrs, so I was hesitant about calling them back... and why call my neighbor, why not mail a letter to my address...

I'm glad I found this info, I don't plan to call em back and I already told my neighbor to not take any calls from them...

I got a call telling me to contact Mrs. Wallace at a certain number and I had only so long to call back. I don't call back numbers I don't know.

This women is EVIL! She threaten to have my Licence suspended if I dont pay them, first # she left was a sex line, then she called and cussed me out. I knew she was up to no GOOD! Hope someone STPS her!

My son had an accident and some how these people got a hold of our number and said we own them $5,000.00 to pay back the insurence company. We paid 3 paymnts of $155.00 and never got a bill or letter stating what we are paying on so I wrote them to ask for a letter or bill with Insurance company logo on it they called and threaten to suspend my licence, because I asked for a BILL! Please dont answer your phone they only call the cell phone not the house I was sending payments to

Just got one of these calls about my out of state college son. He had no idea what was going on. I called the number and got put on hold, it felt bad so I hung up. DO NOT TELL THESE PEOPLE ANYTHING!! Better yet, do not call them back. It just tells them they got a live one.

i am deployed and my wife received a phone call from someone looking for me to find out if my emergency contact info was correct. they said that i had put my younger brother down as my emergency contact. my wife tried to explain to them that she's my wife and so on, and why would it be my brother instead of her? so they asked for my brothers number, luckily she gave them a dead end number that they no longer have, and yes the number did come up as insurex incorporated. the number was 281-596-0400. one thing that really bothers me is how did they get my number and my younger brother's name!

I got there FAX number so that we can all send them CEASE and DESIST orders! Once you request this they can not contact you again: fax number is 281-596-0360 and here is a copy of the letter:

Dear Debt Collector:
Pursuant to my rights under federal debt collection laws, I am requesting that you cease and desist communication with me, as well as my family and friends, in relation to this and all other alleged debts you claim I owe.
You are hereby notified that if you do not comply with this request, I will immediately file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and the (insert your state here) Attorney General’s office. Civil and criminal claims will be pursued.

Soem guy called me looking for someone else. The message he left stated that the person he left the message for needed to contact him today regarding a  urgernt issue and today was the last day that this person had to get in touch with him. The phone number he left was 866-752-7144. That was not the numbe that showed up on the caller id. What kind of company is this and should I return the call?

If this number comes up on your caller ID, ignore it.  These people are in league with Satan.

Received a message this a.m. from this number "insurex"? I called and the guy told me that my neighbor (a deadbeat) put my name down as a reference, they had a message about a claim he made, could I get it to him? I told the guy that's funny b/c I haven't talked to this guy in 2 1/2 years, I don't think he would be putting my name down for a reference. Then he said something about fraud happens all the time. The weird thing is that I think this same guy called me a couple of months ago, stating he was from the fraud dept. This neighbor had made a claim that his boat was stolen, had I seen the boat, etc. I told him no, that I don't talk to this neighbor. Wish I had not have called back! But then again, they called me so they already have my number. Any way to get off the collector's agencies' list of calling me instead of the neighbor?????

received a call on my cell phone from a person named reginald heard asking for a friend of mine.  the caller stated her name, MY PARENT'S HOME ADDRESS and gave an incident number for reference. thanks for the heads up.  i will not be returning their phone call.

Received a call today from Insurex asking that I relay a message to a person that is not related and does not live at this address, and that I don't even know.  The message asked them to call a number and extension and tell them the call is in reference to "complaint" 658447.  These are not legitimate calls and NEVER call them back and don't give any information whatsoever even if you happen to know the person they are looking for.  Once you or someone else calls them back they have your caller id and now you're open up even more abuse and harassment.
