Leaves a message on your phone asking you to call back.  This is a SCAM.  They claim you have a debit to Bank of Montreal.  I don't even deal with the Bank of Montreal.

scam Scam SCam SCAm SCAM !!!!!

This is a collection company that keeps changeing its name because they keep getting busted for fraud. The are presently going by the name Collectcom Credit. As I stated in my past post, they simply make up an invoice from a legitimat company, likely one you have never delt with (Sprint Canada and Rodgers are a couple of their favorities) get your phone number from a phone book, and then start harrassing you relentlessly. More than 3 phone calls a week to your number is against the law, and NO COLLECTION COMPANY can call your place of business (IN CANADA). Of course they do do some legitment collections (this is how they get licenced), but the bulk of their work is FRADULANT SCAMS. My advice, keep a record of how many times they call you, ask them to send or fax you a copy of the original document (with your signature) showing you owe money to that company, The original account number from that company, and their account number on this file. Refusal to provide you with any and all of this information constitutes attempted fraud, and is against the law. Inform this company that you know these things and will be persuing this further with the RCMP. If you do legitamatly owe money, they will have no problem sending you this information, if you are on their list of those to defraud, they will refuse or say they cannot do this, in this case, PERSUE THIS FURTHER BY CONTACTING THE RCMP !!!

this number is probably from scum bag natale.she seems to be running out of phone numbers because everyone is on to her from these forums.

Every day there is a message on my voice mail from someone at this number requesting that my son (who hasn't lived at this number for a long while) call for an urgent message. I am so frustrated with these messages that I am contemplating changing to an unlisted number. The most recent (today's) meassage indicates "this is not a sales call".

Just reported this number to RCMP.   This is a total scam, across the country,  and action is finally being taken to shut these people down from making these calls.   Tracers are being placed on the calls.   Hopefully someone will be charged with   (a) public mischief,  and (b)  harassment, under the Criminal Code of Canada
