This company or center reopens your closed credit account based on your payment history, not credit report.
Frannie asked me if I want to reopen my account and verified all my information.  I still feel a little uneasy about the whole thing. :/

Received call today asking for my husband.  I told them he does not talk to anyone on the phone and I do all his business and I have his Power of Attorney.  They just kept saying because of Federal privacy laws they could not speak to me, yet they called my cell phone number!!!!!

Received a call today from this number.  Said they were with CitiBank and wanted information before they could tell me why they were calling.  I would not give them information and called Citi this afternoon.  Citi has no idea who they are and said they would check into it for me.

I am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY!!!

What is this in regards to?

This phone number is for a company CitiCard uses to reopen closed credit cards.  They announce themselves as "The Bank Card Center" when they speak to you or leave a message.

I paid off my CitiCard (thank God) several months ago.  This company started calling then to reopen the card.  They were offering all kinds of incentives to get me to do it.  I spoke to CitiCard to see if this is for real....it is.  

I told them I didn't want to reopen the card, now it's been a few months and they are calling again.  I guess they really want me to go in debt again.  

No thanks!  Debt-free is what life's all about!!

I received the exact same call from this company as well.  I was not home so they left a message.  I had no idea who "bankcard center" was, so I Googled it and found this wonderful site with all your posted info.  Thank you so much!  I HATE credit card companies and there shady behavior!  I would not trust ANY credit company!

Received a call on my CELL PHONE! Bankcard Center needs me to call back? Based on comments above it appears to be a citibank issued card. Never had one.  No plans on calling back.
