tried calling the number, get a message stating something about Verizon Conference Call and asking what meeting i want to join.  i find it amusing they are calling to collect on something but they aren't able to provide good call back information.

so this is a scam and i need to know what to do

you probably have an old debt you havent paid,call them up and ask to speak to mr anthony stevens
he´ll let you know what´s going on .help you settle this out of court so you wont wind up paying double
what you owe,dont just ignore this advice, pull your credit report and check,be wise not dumb.

i was contacted at my home by ´mr wilson ´´.said they have legal documents for me, to please call the 866 number .i did some research and found out that they owned an old debt i had with hsbc on
credit card wich i never paid.talked to my lawyer ,said would be in my best interest to talk to these
people and try to resolve.called in and was passed to a ´mr stevens´´,he was very polite and helped
me ,got a good settlement paid my debt and was sent a 0 bal and the debt was taken off of my credit report . you know sometimes we owe money and we forget ,we rather scream ´scam´´than do whats right
,my lawyer also said that they can take you to court since they owned the debt wich was legally bought

I got a call from this number from "Mr. Wilson" leaving me a message how he got a complaint/pending in his office about me and that i should contact my legal issuing officer or something i got scared for a second because i didnt know whats going on i know i didnt do anything bad soo i got pissed off because they really seemed like they r harrasing and they called my home phone number and left a message i saved it and dont know who to belive this people or is it a scam.......please help me with some info thx.

I JUST WANT TO SAY TO ALL THOSE PEOPLE THAT GET CALLS SOMETIMES FROM STRANGE 866 NUMBERS, WELL IN MY CASE LIKE MOST OF YOU I CALLED BACK AND SURE ENUFF I HAD A DEBT I OWED ON.. I HAD A WHILE BACK AND I NVR PAID IT BACK, I TRIED FIGHTING IT I GAVE THEM A HRD TIME BUT I LOST  BECUASE IT WAS MINE LIKE MOST OF YOU THIS COMPANY OWNED THE DEBT THAT THEY BOUGHT FROM THE BANK I GOT THE CC FROM..I  ENDED UP GOING TO COURT IN MY HOME TWN ....IT WAS A FACT THAT THEY DO NOT PLAY AROUND AND I AM A LAW OFFICER..

THEY HAVE CALLED ME NUMEROUS TIMES AND MY WORK NUMBER NUMEROUS TIMES.  I AM SOOO GLAD I READ THIS I GOT A MONEY ORDER TODAY AND WAS GONNA SEND IT.  YA THEY SAID THEY WERE GONNA GO TO MY JOB AND ARREST ME OR AT MY HOME.  SO THANKFUL TO YOU ALL.  NOW I GET TO KEEP MY MONEY.  SWEET.  I WAS GONNA ASK MY CHURCH FOR HELP.    I CANT BELEIVE THESE PEOPLE.  THANKS AGAIN.  SPARKY

This place is out of control... they keep calling my home, cell and my family's house leaving messages stating they are "Special Investigators" and referring to "docket" numbers.  One of them, Angela Fuentes, can barely speak English and spouts off terms like criminal complaint, restraining order and etc. They keep saying they are trying to serve me, but when I call to ask them in which county is this supposed lawsuit being filed, they won't tell me.  They won't send me anything in writing.  This is from an old debt regarding a credit card that was stolen by my old roommate, and I had made multiple attempts way back when to settle it with Household Bank to no avail.  I filed a complaint with the FTC and am also going to file one with the California AG office.  I did research on them and they seem to be located in Lake Elsinore, but the address is at a PO Box store.  Be wary of this company.

I also received a call from these people today, same ph# and same address. They are claiming I have a debt with a credit card company from 2006 which I don't recognize. They are threatning to serve me with a court date. I refused to provide any personal information and asked that they send me this information in writing, the lady that went by the name of Mary Gomez was extremely rude and srefused to send me anything in writing about the debt unles I took care of this today as in agreeing to pay the balance, otherwise they would serve me at work. She become really angry as soon as I started asking a lot of questions. I told her I wasn't giving her any info, the address, ph#, and company are even registered as a business anywhere online. seems fishy to me.

These people called my elderly mother yesterday, told her that they were the sheriffs department and they were on the way to see me. I called them back and was told if I didnt pay up I would be extradited. The lady told me that it was from a credit card from 2005-2006, however this company cannot give me anymore information and I do not remember this. SCAM SCAM SCAM ARTIST. I am filing complaints with the FTD, AG's in my state, there state and other states and warn everyone this is a scam!

I got a call last week from them they had called my boss and got my cell phone number needless to say my boss did not like me that much when I got done with him lol. I did not give them any info but a fake email I use for things like this I think are fake. Has any one actually been to court with these people. I did a search on the address and came up with at software company in California and the email they sent me was a server Mass.

I received a voice mail at home stating that I needed to call back regarding a complaint/pending action and it was red flag.  When I call back to give them my reference number.  I called 866-828-2418 and was transfer to a woman name and I started asking questions.  I asked her what her name was and ID# and she stated Cindy ID# 569.  I also asked for her Supervisor name and ID# and she started getting upset with me.  Cindy than asked who was speaking and I told her she had my name.  She asked what was the last 4 # of SSN and I told her I was not going to give it too her.  Cindy wanted the first 3 # of SSN and I stated I was not going to say.  At that point she said that how do I know who I'm speaking with.  I said that I was going to give the information to my Attorney and Cindy wanted to know the name and I told her that I wasn't giving it to her but that she will here from the Attorney's office.  At that point she was so upset and I told her bye.  I will see if they try calling tomorrow and I will contact an Attorney's office on Monday.  Of course it is after 5:00 PM and I happend to type the phone number on the internet and saw other people message.

This is crazy. They called my job and asked to speak to my supervisor. They asked her what are our company policy for issuing papers at my job. I spoke with them on Monday and they said i needed to give them my dedit card number. They called my job again and I answered the phone but she wouldn't speak to me only my supervisor. Where r they getting our information from.

They state they are Northern Resource Group and that they are a collection agency.  They threaten with legal supeonas and ect.
