calls, no talk, hangs up

We get multiple calls/day from 863-800-9212 (Florida).  No messages are left... just hang ups and on the occasion that we do pick up to see what all the calls are about... we get no response.  Who is this and how can we make the calls stop.  This is most annoying!!

I auto answer with a great acoustic  of Hotel California - 7 minutes long distance. I have had them wait for 4 minutes before they hang up.

Any one in the area code want an auto dialer, since you are not a company then you should be able to keep calling until they change their number. If they are answering your call, they are not calling someone else and LOSING money.

I have NO idea who these people are but they called here @ 5:40 PM on Sunday afternoon and never left a message.

no one answers when I do; no message is left when voicemail takes over. Called four times already this morning....augh!!!

Keeps calling on my wife's cell but hangs up when she answers and leaves no message when she doesn't.

I called from my cell and a computer voice answerd with "Thanks for calling the campaign" and then abruptly hung up.

Must be getting paid based on the number of calls made with no formal auditing by the customer.

Just started to receive calls from this number. I haven't answered yet, so I don't know who it is.

On numerous occasions, my son keeps receiving calls through out the day from this number.  When I try calling back, the phone rings once and then goes dead

I have NO idea who these people are - just DON'T answer the phone!

Anyone else get this one? It asked for certain people.

Just received a call from a Terry White wanting my husband.  Said he was calling about SB1000 which would be very harmful to my husband's business.  I told him we weren't interested and hung up.

I get the same call from this Ross Marsman every night. He calls after 8:00 P.M.
this is not only irritating but Rude.

I don't answer it hoping that they leave

It says "Ross Marsman" on my caller ID.  I get calls from this number EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.  But I don't answer.

1st they would not divulge who they were unless I ID myself as the previous owner of my phone number. After going back and forth a guy who ID himself and Tom Eason said he was calling from the San Diego Republican Party to see if I was planning to vote for San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders. When I asked more questions regarding the Republican Party he hung up!!

I get hang up calls all day long.  I have Call Wave on my computer and it told me this number 866-866-9212.  There is no further info on it.  I think it is just a bunch of jerks with nothing else to do.

I got a call from "Democrats against the Jeff Denham Recall" originating from this number.  They told me that Denham was standing up for teachers.  As a teacher, I disagree.
