They are calling my number and leaving a message for my son in law. If you try to call the number on the caller id nothing happens. The number is 311-556-3320. Who is this guy?
Me 2011-06-06 21:03:29 Unknown
I have been recieving phone calls from this organization also. In addition they called my brother in law and stated that they were taking me to court the following week. Not only was there no court date, no written notification of any debt owed were ever sent to me. They have now called my husband at work also. I have had recorded messaged from Vincent Signorrelli and had one of his representatives yelling at me. When I have called their office requesting a mailing address the person I spoke to refused. She stated she could get into trouble for doing this and lose her job. What kind of business refuses to give out their mailing address????? Obviously they do not want to recieve a cease and desist letter or a debt verification letter. I have reported them into the FTC and have also notified the NY states attorney office. I reccomend everyone having problems with this organization to do the same. I have found this address which I will use to send a cease and desist letter and a debt verification letter. The address is: The Law Office of Vincent Signorrelli, PO Box 317 Williamsville, NY 14221. Hope this imformation helps someone!

Got a call from this number ato both my home and work phone. I cannot have these calls coming to my work phone! How can I stop this madness?
Janna 2011-06-06 21:03:29 Unknown
In the two weeks I've been on my new job, I have received 4 automated calls from this guy for someone who doesn't work hear any more. When I called the # on the caller id (866-878-5796) I got someone's residence. I googled the guy and got this site. Thanks to these posts I was able to get through the Cignarele's "office" and spoke with an woman who said she would remove our # from the system. She had a real attitude.
CIGNARALE'S DARK SECRET-JJOYCE 2011-06-06 21:03:29 Unknown
CIGNARALE IS A FORMER BAILBONDSMAN WHO GOT CAUGHT WITH 2 KILOS OF COCAINE AND LOST HIS LICENSE, THIS TENACIOUS PRICK FINALLY WENT TO LAW SCHOOL AND PASSED THE BAR..CHRIS HESS, THE MANAGER EXTRAORDINAIRE RECRUITED HIM AND NOW THEY ARE NOT ONLY VIOLATTNG EVERY FDCPA LAW IN THE BOOK, THEY'RE ALSO RUNNING A PROSTITUTION AND DRUG SMUGGLING RING OUT OF THE VERY SAME OFFICE. MOST OF THE "WORKING PEOPLE" ARE ABNORMALLY MALFORMED, SUITED MOSTLY FOR THE DARK UNDERWORLD OF BUFFALO FETISHES. IN FACT WHEN A LITTLE PERSON-4'2, WE'LL JUST CALL "MARK SHOLEWA", A CONVICTED RAPIST CAME TO WORK FOR HESS AND COULDN'T CUT IT AS A COLLECTOR, HE WAS FORCED INTO THIS PERVERSE UNDERWORLD OF SEX AND DEBAUCHERY BY THE CIGNA-HESS TANDEM SERVING THE NEEDS OF THEIR MOST DEPRAVED CUSTOMER'S WORKING FOR ONLY HALF PRICE DUE TO CIGHESS'S TWISTED RATIONALE. HE WAS LATER ABLE TO ESCAPE INTO A TRAVELING CIRCUS, WHERE MANY BELIEVE HE HAS BEEN PLACED IN WITNESS PROTECTION.......
JHEINTZ 2011-06-06 21:03:29 Unknown
I WAS SENT IN AS A SPY FOR THE FDCPA, THE ABOVE NAME IS AN ALIAS........THE FOLLOWING ACCOUNT, A TRUE STORY....... I BEGAN WORKING AT CIGNARLE AS A COLLECTION AGENT WITH THE BEST OF INTENTIONS. I DID NOT EXPECT THE EVENTS THAT WOULD FOLLOW. I STARTED WORKING THERE ON A TUESDAY, IT SEEMED A FRIENDLY WORK ENVIRONMENT WITH STRONG ETHICAL STANDARDS. AT FIRST MY CASELOAD WAS BAREABLE. I WAS KIND AND COURTEOUS TO THE DEBTORS BUT ALL TOO SOON THAT WASN'T ENOUGH. MY SUPERVISOR WHOM I SHALL CALL JAY KERMP BEGAN TAKING LIBERTIES WITH MY TRUST. HE CORNERED ME SEVERAL TIMES AND EXPLAINED THAT IF I DID NOT REACH MY MONTHLY BUDGET HE WOULD DO TO ME WHAT WAS DONE TO HIM DURING HIS TIME IN MAXIMUM SECURITY PRISON FOR PURCHASING ALCOHOL ON 10 SEPARATE OCCASION FOR MINORS UNDER THE AGE OF 12. IT RAPIDLY BECAME AN ATMOSPHERE OF FEAR AND REPRISAL. WHEN I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO MUSTER THE COURAGE TO COMPLAIN TO THE HEAD MANAGER, A MAN WHOM I SHALL DUB MR. CHECKERS, HE PUT HIS ARM AROUND ME, LAUGHED AND TOLD ME TO DROP MY TROUSERS. HE PROCEEDED TO TAKE PICTURES OF MY UNDERGARMENTS AND TOLD ME IF I EVER TOLD ANYONE THAT HE WOULD POST THEM ON THE WEB. JAY, MY SUPERVISOR CORNERED ME SEVERAL TIMES IN THE BOYS ROOM AND MADE ME PERFORM LEWD AND LACIVIOUS ACTS ON HIS CAMERA PHONE, MOSTLY JUMPING UP AND DOWN IN THE NUDE SCREAMING " I LOVE JELLO!". I FINALLY TURNED TO ATTY CIGNARALE AND AIRED MY GRIEVANCES. HE TOLD ME THAT NONE OF
WHAT I DESCRIBED CONSTITUTED ANYTHING RESEMBLING A WARRANT FOR LEGAL RECOURSE. I FINALLY LEFT AND HAVE BEEN IN THERAPY FOR THE LAST SEVERAL MONTHS. EVERY SO OFTEN SOMEONE FROM THE OFFICE WILL DRIVE BY MY HOUSE AND ASK FOR MY TROUSERS...I USUALLY TELL THEM NO.

Someone named Jon Barber called my sister's cell phone from this number: 716-651-0161 and asked to speak to her (she wasn't here). He gave me this call back number to give to her: 866-876-7234, ext 250. When I asked what it was in regards to, he said he couldn't talk to me unless I had been given a Power of Attorney...but that he'd be there for her to call back until 10 pm.
When I called the number (because I co uldn't remember who he was with), the recording said...Law Office of Vincent Cingarale.

I work for a construction company in Wyoming and we keep getting automated calls from this number for one of our employees or they leave an voice message when no one is in the office. If you hang up & pick up the line the message continues--it's weird. I have wanted it to be a real person, so I can tell them that our employees are not allowed to get calls @ work. Now that I have found out this is a bogus call, I want it to be a real person. I hate these calls. We even registered for "DO NOT CALL" and calls like this keep coming.
This last time the message sounded a little forcefully. I plan on having our employee fight it as will I if a real person answers.

I have received calls from this Vincent Cignarale for over a year looking for
someone else. Someone I do not know.
This harrassment goes on none stop...almost everyday they call..I inform them
that I do not know this person but that does not stop the calls.
THey call a business line and everytime they call it cost me money for my calls to be forwarded to my business number.
How to stop it?
CW Felton 2011-06-06 21:03:29 Unknown
Message left for my 26yr old daughter for her to call Vincent Cignarale. I passed the message on & she googled the phone number so now we know what he's up to. Shame on him

I went on the BBB website and typed in the phone number and it did bring up the law office of Vincent Cignarale but his "company" received an F on BBB's rating scale because....
1. 78 complaints filed against the business
2. Failure to respond to 42 complaints filed against business
3. 12 complaints filed against business that wasn't resolved
4. 4 serious complaints filed against the business
5. Overall complaint history with BBB
6. BBB does not have sufficient background information on this business
So the phone # definetly exist but whether or not they are legal is a different matter. On the BBB website the phone # is also under several different names. I unfortunately was scared into giving my financial information but no collection has been made yet so I will be calling the BBB directly as well as seeking free financial aide to see what my rights are. Just because we as consumers have made bad financial decisions for whatever reason doesn't mean that we should be subjected to rudeness or scare tactics.
AMR 2011-06-06 21:03:29 Unknown
These calls insinuate things-Have you been stopped by law enforcement in te last few days? Oh ok-hold- then coming back on saying we have tallked ot law enforcement in _______ County about you and your debt.
Whne I said I had no knowledge but was going to hang up and call law enforcement in ________County, the story changed....this whole thing is weird-
Martie 2011-06-06 21:03:29 Unknown
Calls from this so-called atty have been coming in to my home phone for over a year at all hours of the day & night. Since I don't have any past due debts, I know the calls aren't for me but they've somehow gotten my number. They never say who they're calling and will leave 3 or 4 messages back to back on my VM ina 10 min. time span. Obviously they have it on some sort of speed dial. The callback numbers and extensions they leave are not valid and when my son has answered, they hang up. No action on whatever claim they purport to have has been pursued other than the harrassing phone calls. Personally I'm changing my number and making it unlisted and hope that stops it.

I too am getting messages from this firm , as my sister and parents, the address I have for them is bogus, and guess what there's a warrent for my arrest now, want to join me??? Ha, turned them in to SD ststes atty and now on my way to NY's.
L Swan 2011-06-06 21:03:29 Unknown
I too received a message from this person only to find out that I was already working with a legitimate collection agency on the same exact debt that this supposed law office was contacting me about. Please post if you have any info on how deal with this matter.
L Swan 2011-06-06 21:03:29 Unknown
Yes. This helps. I received calls as well as my sister. I found out that the exact same creditor I was already working on taking caring of through a legitimate third party source. How are these people getting our information? Is there a form cease and desist letter available?

Got a call didn't call him back though because I checked out the web and this dude is a scam
Mad, irritated, shift worker 2011-06-06 21:03:29 Unknown
Whoever is making these calls is a total jerk. They call me early in the morning, late at night disturbing my irregular sleep schedule. I refuse to answer this call due to the fact that in the past when the call was answered they ask for someone else and try to grill me on the location of the person they are calling for. Please pull the plug on these people or locate them for me and I will deal with them myself!!
Chris 2011-06-06 21:03:29 Unknown
This is a lawyers office attempting to collect bogus debts. It's best to report him. Do a search for Vincent Peter Cignarale and you'll see. He's a scam artist.
fred 2011-06-06 21:03:29 Unknown
Recieved a call from Vincent Signorelli, automated. When I attempted to hang up and return the call his message was being repeated.
I don't know this lawyer and I have no idea why he has called me for information concerning another individual.
This once again proves that there shouldn't be any more lawyers made until it can be proven at least 10 are no longer practicing.
Jill T. 2011-06-06 21:03:29 Unknown
They have been rude, ignorant and call over and over again, harrassing me over a debt that was written off years ago. Calling my friends and family as well, yet I can not get them to tell me who they are representing!
Tammy 2011-06-06 21:03:29 Unknown
For the last few days, I have been receiving this bogus call from this a guy by the name of Vincent Cignorelli. Okay I checked out the number and name andit does not exist. He is a real jerk and they shoul dnot be calling me on my job for something I know nothing about. He is a complete fool and they need to stop harassing individuals.
corpus 2011-06-06 21:03:29 Unknown
this is not allowed at my work and they have repeatedly been advised of this
C. George 2011-06-06 21:03:29 Unknown
As a finacial consultant for a marketing firm there is one piece of advise to give everyone in this delema. If the call is for you and this debt is paid or unpaid ALWAYS have them send you a copy of the debt that is in question. If you've paid this debt return a copy of the paid debt and make sure it's notorized this way you have a legal standing that the document is binding with the law and they can't say it's not a legal document. If you are getting calls from them and it doesn't partain to you, you do have a legal standing in getting them to stop harassing you by calling the state Atty General's office and see what they can do. If you owe this debt again get copies of the debt from them and make sure everything is on the up and up and if you pay this debt go through the company you owe it too first if they say it's been written off find out if someone bought the contract from them. These are the people you want to make a payment too. Never pay by credit card or debit card. Pay by check, cashier's check, Western Union or money order this way you have documentation of what you paid, the date you paid it and to whom you made the payment too. Also ask for a reciept. The best way to cover all ground is to send it certified restricted this way only the person who requested it can sign for it and you'll get the signed card back to you as proof they got your payment. Don't go and pay something blindly without having them back it up with proof first.
Steve 2011-06-06 21:03:29 Unknown
This "law firm" also calls me about an alleged debt but doesn't say anything about who it's from or how much or anything. They call my sister and harrass her as well, telling her it's in her best interest to give me the message to call them. I've reported this firm to the Pennsylvania State Attorney General's office and I suggest people do the same with their state's AG offices when he calls.
Unknown 2011-06-06 21:03:29 Unknown
Got a call from this number. I do not answer numbers I do not know. I'm glad after reading the comments from others who have recieved calls from this number. Where do I report this number. I am on the do not call list.
Kiwi 2011-06-06 21:03:29 Unknown
If they do call you, you can ask them to stop calling this number. By law, they have to. That way, you can continue with your life wihtout the pesky phone calls. If you do legitimately owe the debt, you may ask for all communication henceforth to be in writing. If you do not owe the debt, you are legally allowed to dispute it also in writing. Next time they call, ask them to send proof of the debt in writing and then follow that up with a request not to call you, your family, or your place of business. You can then hang up. :-)

Security (585-428-6625)- Former Position for
VINCENT PETER CIGNARALE, WHO IS NOW RENTING HIS
LAW LICENSE AS A Buffalo, NY (area) debt collector for a commission
on debts collected in his name. Below is a job description from his
former employer: Security provides guard service at key City facilities
and during various City events. Service is provided at City Hall,
the Department of Environmental Services' Operations Center and
Bureau of Water & Lighting, as well as commercial buildings acquired
by the City through foreclosure. A mobile security patrol provides
routine surveillance of City properties and secures firehouses and
libraries when necessary. The unit monitors security alarms at
City facilities and some Rochester City School District buildings.
That's experience that preps you for Debt Collection...
Another Buffalo, NY lawyer putting his career and law license
on the line, all for the promise of easy money. If he didn’t
see the Buffalo News story on the Lenahans and what
happened to them, someone should read it to him. Vincent
is renting his law license out to the Douglas J. MacKinnon,
Sr. group of liars, conmen and extortionists in the hope
of scoring some big bucks.
He's young, but you would think he was smart enough to
figure out that almost a dozen people before have tried
this stupid stunt and failed. Bankruptcy, loss of their
law license, financial ruin, public humiliation. Perhaps
Vincent can fall back on his Security career or has
enough money stashed away to get out of the huge
legal and financial problems on the horizon.
Just like the Lenahans, Terrance McKelvey, Rodney
A. Giove, Douglas R. Burgess, Timothy Collins, Sheree
Meadows, and Brenda, who all got screwed in their
dealings with MacKinnon, Vince can't see the future.
He's allowing debt collectors to lie about legal actions
that will never take place and extort monies under
the banner of bottom feeder debt buyer First American
Investment Co., headed by two famous con men; Harvey
Denis of Williamsville and Jack Sortino, of Kenmore,
NY who manufacture the bogus documents used on
these worthless accounts.
Consumers are STRONGLY warned not to fall prey to this
latest scam by these desperate conmen, liars and
extortionists, who claim they can file lawsuits,
garnish wages and seize assets. The State bar
officials in Buffalo, NY would like to hear from
you when these con men break the law. Contact them at:
New York State Office of Attorney
Grievance Committees

How smart is a person who has watched attorney after attorney drink the "kool-aid" and is willing to put the vial to his lips on command?
You do NOT want to send any money to debt collector
Vincent Cignarale for the following reasons:
1) These debts are mostly bogus, bought for pennies, many
out of statute.
2) Harvey Denis & Jack Sortino have never legally proven
one debt in a legal setting, they have manufactured
thousands of phony documents that are loaded with perjury.
3) There is a high probability that Vincent Peter Cignarale
will not survive for very long, that he will suffer the same
fate as his predecessors in a sea of lawsuits and financial ruin.
4) The New York State Bar is now aggressively going after
lawyers like Vincent who ‘rent’ their law licenses for a
commission on collected debts, from a phony law office
in a satellite location.
5) Buffalo, NY has such a high profile as the worst, most
sleazy, liars, thieves, conmen, drug addicted, convicted
felons and other criminal debt collectors that consumers
have stopped paying debt collectors up there by the millions.
6) Finally, it’s just WRONG! These are criminals, who
extort monies they are NOT entitled to. Most of them
belong in jail; not sending them money will hasten their demise.
If you are contacted by anyone from this Rent-A-Lawyer’s office
get in touch with us for assistance and referral to a REAL lawyer
who can assist you. Vincent won’t be around for very long; let’s
hasten his demise by being smart. Tape record their calls, send
us any letters you receive (Fax: 817-348-8128) contact the
officials at the state bar (above).
