WWW.CDC.gov/Nis. Look it up.
| Obliged 2011-12-29 23:57:52 Survey |
I received the call at 5:30pm. The lady was really nice and asked how many children under the age of 18 lived in the household. Race of each and of myself. If I owned the house and an estimate of income. The main objective was to ask if I had my children vaccinated for the FLU. Which I DO NOT. It wasn't a lengthy survey

creepy call, also came at 8:45pm as other post mentions. Said "call me if any children are in the home" BIZARRE. If they need any information, there has to be a better way of going about it. Out of control with this stuff. Do not know of any money incentive, would not have anyway.

i got a call from this number, they are saying that we are calling from NORC national opinion research center from Chicago University, survey regarding the child immunizations, and they will ask how many children in your house under age 17 old.
I dont trust these calls...because they called me at 8:30pm in the night.

I just got a letter in the mail today from them.
It says they will be calling me in a few weeks to do
the survey.Isn't that cute. They think they are just going
to call and get Free info just like that.
No Way. I'll Never answer. They are just wasting time
because they won't get it here!

Well if you don't want to do the survey just ask to be taken off the list. They don't care about you information. If you read the letter you know its important so don't be such a jer about it. NOW THAT WAS CUTE!!

I also got this letter yesterday. This is just more of my tax money being wasted on a survey that will result in more welfare handouts for people who don't, and won't work for a living. I truley believe that this country, my country, is going to crumble at the feet of the people in power if they do not put a stop to all this. We will not participate in this survey because we do not have childred, but it seems like that would be known by our tax filing status and number of dependents/exemptions, since we do file and pay our fair share of taxes every year. Come on Obama, I thought that all our health care and other personal information about all of us was going to be free flowing via the internet if you were elected. I don't mean to go on and on, but this letter, survey, and it's outcome is all just a shamefull waste of resources.

They keep calling you until you answer. Answer the phone and go through 2-3 questions and then say your not comfortable and hang up, you get $5 in the mail and a letter that says they will give you $10 if you finish. It's legit. It came in cash.
| Pooks 2011-06-06 21:03:53 Unknown |
Nope its not 2-3 questions. The survey takes at the very least 30 minutes -- longer if your child has disabilites they need specifics on. This survey drags on even longer if you can't understand the interviewer because they are racing through the lengthy questions and have to keep re-asking...
No money is offered/given regardless of participating or not.

Good thing you don't have "childred" because "truley" you couldn't raise them to speak or write english. It's just "shamefull".

The CDC vaccination efforts (of which the NIS survey is the primary source of vaccination info) saves 40,000 lives and 40 billion annually. Sounds like a pretty good bang for the buck to me.
