Watch how this guy dealt with a Jamaican scam call:
After midnight call
I got a call after midnight from a similar number, may have come from Jamaica? 8762989407. They guy at first wasn't making any sense saying to call him back it was urgent about my flight (oddly enough I was traveling) I repeated my flight, he said no and something I couldn't understand. I said to him I didn't know what he was saying, then he said I won the mega millions jackpot. I got into sarcastic mode. I was like oh really? When did I enter that? I asked who I was speaking with, he said Mr. Jack. He then said my number was randomly selected and I won some jackpot and I asked which company was that. He all of a sudden had to go because there was another urgent call he had to take. I mean what could be more urgent than giving me my winning $$$.. I am sick of these scam artist. My number isn't even listed!
man called and said i needed to call back and speak to Annie Roberts from Premiere Sweepstakes...SCAM!!
call said I won 5 million dollars and wanted me to pay475dollars for insurance purposes
I was called from the same number which was 1-876-298-3727. Told I had won 2.3 Million Dollars, I kept hanging up aswel, but the female on the other end continue to call. I told her if I had won all that money, you seem to have all of my info. anyway. Just deduct I.R.S part and send me the rest.
Got a call from this number, of course i won 2.4 million dollars...i asked questions and the lady told me i'd have to contact the claims dept with any questions. She gave me the number and thank goodness i looked it up before calling. I knew it was a scam from the start because i don't remember entering any sweepstakes!
My roommate got a call on her cell phone the other day when she was at work that was listed as "private" so she didn't answer. But then the woman left a voicemail with the # that this topic is about (1-876-298-3727) and she called it back. She apparently won 2.3 million dollars from Publishers Clearing House (PCH) but soon found out it's nothing but a SCAM!
The woman she talked to wanted $750. And also asked for her checking account # so it could be directly wired into her account! Of course she's skeptical so she put the woman on hold, quickly got the # to the *real* PCH, called them and found out that there's no $750 fee and that they notify a winner by mail only and never on the phone....the woman hung up on her while waiting though.
She works in the collections dept. at a nationwide bank and has access to several powerful services to find out just about anything about anybody (so they can find people to collect thier unpaid debts) and got "the skinny" about this # and who it belongs to.
She wrote all this info down for me and now I'm passing it along for anybody who wants to know.

Also, the CEO of the company reported his name to be Mark Jones.
Reports a winning of 2.4 million dollars and to talk with a claims representative of Annie Roberts at 876-298-3727. The next day the call came from the "CEO" of the company (Global International Sweepstakes/Lottery Company" stating that there was a bonus and the total was actually 3.5 million. Howeverm they couldn't send the check because the currency was in Austrailia and not USD. The total to convert the money was $5000. They told me that they would pay half and to send them the other half.
yup scam asked me for 750.00 for some fees told them i didnt think so and they hung up
