I, too, have fallen victim to this scam. I have sent far more money to them than I should have sent. They have no intentions of giving me a loan, just taking my money. Don't trust them. I have been dealing with this since the end of April and still no loan has come through.

I was scammed with Julie Mitchell, Sean Turner, Peter Darken, Samantha Dawkins, Samantha Brown....all "employees" of Vision Mutual Funding!!! I have contacted authorities.  I can't believe how stupid I was.  Please do not let these Jamacians take anymore from you.

Branda....I'm sorry you were scammed, too.   It's the same EXACT runaround that I was given. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do...and you will never get that money back. :(

I would like to add, after I was approved Julie told me that the loan release department would then contact me.  That is when I received a call from (876)354.8217 . They are still in contact with me because this just happened Friday May 10th 2013. But now they are telling me that the original lender has declined due to some red flags. Now he, as in Shawn Turner the loan release manager, said they are finding me a new lender and it can take 3 to 5 business days. Oh but he also says that I can put in for a refund in regards to my insurance policy Money that I wired over, but it will take up to 30 days. Even if I called in a police report what good would that do? After reading all of this, I know there is no refund policy. I am so angry right now, and the only person I can really be upset with is myself.

I must say after reading all of this my stomach is in knots. I was scammed as well it seems. Vision mutual funding, with a Julie Mitchell, a contract and an insurance policy to secure my loan that I had to wire $ 590.00 to the lender named Clayton Elliott in Jamaica. I feel like a helpless fool that I did not check deeper into this company. They called from a (866)669.6795 from Illinois and the companies office address is 10 G Street Northeast # 107   Washington, DC 20002. I googled it, map and all. It really looked great and seemed legit. I am sad to find out I lost my Money and sickened that there is nothing I can really do about it. They will continue to do this to people over and over.

I'm sorry Deedee, but you will not get your money.  I was also scammed by a company with a different name..but same exact situation!   I had made several calls to them,, as well....but i'm hearing now that i will be getting charged for those calls, because they are NOT toll free!  So, unfortunately, you might want to stoop wasting your time and money trying to get the money..because you will never get it.

I too spoke to a julie mitchell from vision mutual funding that called me from the same 876 number as well as another number I sent them $491 and waiting on my money now. Ive been conversing with them back and forth for 3 weeks

So sorry to hear that they scammed you too Robert.  How in the hell are they still doing this!!???  I have reported them to every authority i can possibly think of!!!  Just crazy!!!   And even worse, i just read on here that i'm actually going to get charged for the calls i've made to them.  I must've made 100 calls in the week i sent them the 500 bucks, before i realized that i had actually been scammed!!! UGHHH!!!

This is not a toll free "800" number, it is the international long distance code for the island nation of Jamaica. You are charged international and long distance rates for calling this number. Other international/long distance area codes are 809, 284, and 649.

So sorry to hear of two more people that have been scammed since i was scammed.  I have reported it EVERYWHERE...to every authority i can...and yet, these people are still answering the phone, still have the website, and still scamming innocent people who are already facing hardship!!!   My money is gone, but i want to stop them from scamming more people!!  I dont know how they can continue to get away with it.   I did find out...that there website has only been up for three weeks...and yet, they claimed to be in business since 2002.  If only i had found that out before i sent them the 500!!

When you call and ask where your money is what do they say?! I just got a call from Wynn and associates with the same loan detail inf. Thank God I researched online before sending over money.  thank you for posting what has happened to you.  you have saved my paycheck!

There isn't any way for you to get your money back - it's gone.  However, you can report them to the FTC, the FBI and also your state's Attorney General.  It may not help you, but may help prevent others from being scammed like this.

Yes..i have come to the realization that i'm never getting the money.  But..is there anything I can do!! they are STILL there...still answering the phone ...and still ripping people off!!!!

I gave them 500 western union on monday...supposedly the loan was to be in my bank account in 2 to 4 hours.  Here we are 4 days later..and still n o loan.   If they are scamming people..i dont understand how they are still there..still answering the phones...still in "business"????    I thought they would be long gone by now, but they still continue to speek to me on the phone and trying to convince me that my money is coming!  Which..i know it never will!!
