Chris, I agree it does SEEM incredible that these filthy little Jamaican animals are still extorting money from US citizens - but they are! You might be surprised to learn that over 30,000 calls are placed DAILY from Jamaica to the United States for the purpose of trying to swindle/extort money. They seem to target the elderly and since 800, 877
and 866 ARE toll free calls, many falsely assume 876 is also toll free.
I was first contacted by these filthy, little animals, when I received a call from someone calling itself "John Baker" (apparently they think every white person in the US has "John" for a first name.) In any event, this "John" was calling to tell me I had won 2.5 million dollars from "Mega Millions" in Las Vegas. It instructed me to get a Green Dot Money card from CVS, load it with $499.25 to pay for my "registration fees." A few days after this call, I was shocked to see this particular scam featured on ABC World News. During that segment, they played the audio of a conversation between an elderly woman - who had already sent them $85,000 - and one of these black stained rodents.

Second call this week from "David Peterson". Yesterday, as soon as he said Mega Millions, I asked what kind of idiot did he think I was??? He called again today, so I decided to play along, put him on speaker and had a co-worker record the conversation. I won 2.5 mil and a white mercedes....yay...I'm rich. He asked me to write down his name, Mega Millions, 2.5 mil, mercedes and their phone no......then he hung up on me...I can hardly wait til he calls back!!! I did report him to La. Attorney General's office yesterday..

Caller (foreigner or some one who could not speak English very well) stated that I had won 3.5 million dollars and a 2012 pearl white cadillac to be delivered to me today. would call me back in a couple of hours. I called them back, told me that the office was in D.C and wanted to look me up in the system to find out what time the delivery ppl would be here. I gave them the name of two of my co workers (the first name of one and the last name of the other), guy put me on hold then came back and said oh, yes they will deliver today, I told him to deliver to me at work at the Federal Building and I would have one of the Fed officers pick up my package for me, he said no and hung up

I got that same call twice last week, and once this morning, it was the same person wanting me to send them 345.00 western union to fayettville North carolina, and it was to be made out to Charlene Johnson. but here's the kicker, when I called the so called clames department, all I could hear in the background were a bunch of dogs, one if your gonna be a scammer, do it right (not to say its ok to do) but yea I told him show up at my house scence you allready supposedly know where i live, deliver the goods, and once the check clears i'll send ya the money that you requested, otherwise don't call me again.

Received a call at noon today saying mega millions granted me a third prize money for walmart and similar commercial store purchases. The prize money was a reasonable 2.5 million and an e-class benz. The guy said he was based in wasgington dc. Claimed to have the name mathew johnson. He wanted to deliver the car to my address. I asked a couple questions (where did i win this prize) who exactily they were supposed to be rewarding and the phone went dead. He named the state in which my phone number's area code is from. I may make a purchase there about once a year. 0_o Be on guard. You cannot call back. Ask queestions and do not give out personal information. You usually have to go pick up a prizeto claim them.

This is a call about the fact that we won 3.5 milliom dollars and a Pearl white Mercedes Bens 300
But we needed to purchase a 300 dollar Greendot MoneyPak card! Then present it to a lawyer and two accompaning Federal agents ,as proof of legitimacy, who would then swipe the card into a portable card reader.
A Green Dot MonetPak card is considerd cash and CANNOT be revesed or refunded. You should never give up your Green Dot MoneyPak serial number to my understanding. Some one could steal any monies you may put into that card in the future. I believe this is the scam!
