Jamaica, JAMAICA

Richard, I am sorry to hear that you were a victim of this scam. The simple fact is that as long as these filthy, foul smelling Jamaican rodents CAN ensnare victims, this scam will persist. In your case, it was clearly a very expensive lesson to learn. I hope you take the anger you are undoubtedly feeling towards these useless black stained roaches and turn it into action!

Just put it this way I provided all information and $1195.00 and they still wanted more. I canceled the entire process and asked for a refund of which we went through the entire process and now only to wait for it. He said it takes 3 working days for the refund to take place. I only came home to find out that this number and company is a fraud. I am very disappointed in my actions to even go this far with this and trust me this guy was very persuasive. Be careful!!!!

DO NOT return the call from someone calling from a 876 area code.
This is not a toll free "800" number, it is the international long distance code for the island nation of Jamaica. You are charged international and long distance rates for calling this number. Other international/long distance area codes are 809, 284, and 649.

Scammers use these numbers to not only try to scam you out of money, but also sting you with high phone call rates.

Do report the calls, Jamaican and US officials are still actively tracking down and arresting the offenders:

Received cal from this number, 876-462-2407; the person talking through some sort of voice changing device said the person at this phone number he called (mine) said I just won $2.5 million from Publishers Clearing House. When asked the person's name he was calling, caller said the person that own the phone number he called. Again, I asked caller for the last name he was calling and he quickly hung up. Reverse call indicates the caller had called from India via Jamica.

I received a call from this number and they said they were from Publishers Clearing House and wanted me to purchase a Green Dot Moneytext Scratch Card and put $250 on it to claim my 2nd place price of 2.5 million dollars. I said there is no way I am putting $250 on a Green Dot Card and handing it over to a guy named John King, I mean really that name is obviously fake and it just seemed to good to be true. They tried to persuade me and when they could not the hung up on me

I received a call from this same # and had to ask over again who it was. All they said was ( Hi sweetie, How are you doing.)
It gave me the creeps.

I received a call from this number. I didn't recognize the number when it popped up on my phone so I didn't answer it. No message was left. After reading the comments regarding these calls I'm glad I didn't answer it.

Got a call from this number and I could hardly make out his English. He told me I was in 2nd place to win millions in Publishers Clearing House Giveaway and all I had to do was call his number back. I never called and within 1 minute he called back 2 more times. That gave me time to Google his number and read the comment left by "Bobby" I figured it was a scam so thats why I Googled it and I think I was right!! Thank you for your help!!

Very persuasive and persistant caller succeeded in defrauding my mother of over 1600. and continues to ask for more. He calls himself John Hunt. The call is from Jamaica. He asks for money to expedite a large lottery award.
