Got three calls from this number today saying that I have won $110,000.00 through Allstate Lottery. Allstate Lottery????? Never heard of it and when I asked how exactly did I win without entering a contest or buying a ticket, I was told by a guy who identified himself as Michael Louis, that my phone company entered me automatically for paying my phone bill every month, LOL! The man talked like he either had a mouth full of poop or was heavily drugged. Also, I could hear chickens in the background. I asked him a numerous of questions as her tried to drill me for personal information. I told him if I had won something my phone company has the address to send it to. He stated that it had to be delivered and they were in Lafayette, LA and could bring it to me in Baton Rouge, LA. He asked if I would like to claim my prize and I said no and hung up. He called right back and asked me why I hung up and I said why in the hell are you calling me from Jamaica if you are in Lafayette??? He immediately disconnected the call. Be careful not to give these people your personal information.
Not a Fool
Just received three calls from this number. Left messages that they were calling from PCH, but the call originates in Jamaica. I decided to google the number and found out it's a fraud.
He just called this morning and tried to build emotional response to draw in the victim. I googled his # while on the phone with him and when I told him google showed he was a fraud he hung up. Told me I had won a publishers clearing house second prize of %600k cashiers check and $250 in cash and a 2013 Tahoe. Said he needed to collect $279 delivery fee and it was all mine. If it sounds too good to be true it usually is.
Received a call from "Michael" from the UPS in Flagstaff asking if I was going to be home for a delivery then asked me to call him back using the name "Kevin Peterson." Using the 876.463.7835 number.
18768430898 micheal anderson at it again f****ng b*****d woke me up on NYE to tell me I won 2.5million and a benz and then proceed to ask me for money to receive the money. i almost cried im so pissed
Kevin Peterson called and said I won $600,000 certified check and did I want it delivered with the camera crew, said their bank was wells fargo. I asked where he was calling from and he said Flagstaff, which was not true. He wanted $500 for a ticket to use to claim the money. They claimed to be from publisher clearing house. I hung up and they called back seven times before they gave up. Be aware of phone calls.
I got a call and he said he was from UPS service and that I won some car in Flagstaff. The second I told him I didnt want it and that I was sure he was scamming me he hung up.
Out of curiousity I looked up the number on Facebook and it led me to some girl from Jamaica, I'm going to assume her listed brother "Zidan" is the caller/scammer. Kind of scary how easy it was to find him.. what an idiot.
I received a call from him, as he called himself "Kevin from UPS" and I told him I had no business with him, and hung up immediately.
He called my mother-in-law and said he was Michael. He said that he had a delivery from UPS and publishers clearing house. The conversation ended with him calling her a Bi***. I called him back, and I said that I wanted to talk to his manager for calling my mother-in-law a Bi***. He said, 'yes, she is a w***e, a bi***, and a s**t.' He kept repeating this. He said his manager was on the phone. Then I heard his voice and hers. I told her that Michael called my mother -in- law a w***e, bi*** and s**t, and the lady said, 'yes, she is a bi***.' Then I hung up the phone.
The guy now says his name is Kevin Peterson. The line was very scratchy. I told him to call back in an hour for the money. Ya right! Like I am going to purchase a card from Walmart and give him the numbers. I asked him why I have to pay money to win money. There must be alot of gullible people out there.
He was calling my daughter's cell phone for a month - which ran up our bill for accepting his calls, we had to pay because she answered, ran up $30 ($1.62 a minute/international call on cell). She couldn't understand him or what he wanted so she kept taking his calls. She finally told me and I got on the phone with him and told him to never call her again, as she is 14. He got very mad and threatened to rape and kill her and cut her up. Wow. Really. I don't get people like this. We blocked his number on her cell. I then called from my land line to see if it was a computer generated number or a real number, of course I blocked my number. He answered. I said nothing and hung up. Someone told me that I would be charged $25 by my phone carrier (Qwest/centurylink) for that less than 1 minute call. I just contacted the phone company and she reassured me it would be $1.70 something. But still our daughter was threatened and shook up as were my husband and I. He googled the 876 area code/ Jamacia. I first thought it was a California area code.
Tough lessen learned. I'm calling the police now. Doubt there's anything they can/will do.
I'm sure that I received an email warning me about this area code but I am overwhelmed by all the emails and don't read each one. Wake up!
we called back and they threatend us that they were going to kill us and blow up our jail
Dont do it!!!!!!!!!
I got this...definitely a scam.
DO NOT CALL, they say they are UPS Delivery service and that they have a Publishers Clearing House Prize for you and that they want to deliver it to you and then they ask if you want the camera crew and all the bells and whistles. The number is out of Jamaica. The guy calls himself Michael Anderson.
