I had a similar call today, saying there was a Mega Millions / PCH (Publisher's Hlearing House) check for $275,000 on the way to be delivered to me, telling me package number and confirmation claim number, and to be sure I had an ID card..... also saying that the IRS would be notified, and what time would my bank close?  When I asked why did he need to know when my bank closed for the day, the man said he would call back. I did not answer the next two times the phone rang.

I receive phone call by a man who said is name was Mr. Goldbird. He told me that I had won 1.2 millions from MEGA MILLIONS OF AMERICA and gave me some code number that need to have to show after,  I have payed the 199.00  though western union to Charles Ward of Alabama. And after he confirm that I had made the transfer that he will send the driver to my  home who would take me to the bank with my check to make should that it was deposit safely with no problem.   After that , the calls just keep coming from others who had the same story but with different amounts and who said that they was from UPS. I went an  reported it to the police.  I am still getting phone calls.
