John Anderson called from publishers clearing house claiming i had won $40,000 and a new car and that i needed to call this number  1876 463 90 40 to give my information and that the prize would be delivered to my house this afternoon

I have received a phone call from a blocked number, his name is Mr. George Williams calling from US Custom Department to tell me that I won a prize of 2.5 million dollars!!! and taxes and social security was already deducted from that prize. He said that I will be receiving this prize tomorrow at 10:30 am. I asked for his phone number and he provided 1-876-471-9644. Batch : BB5562 Prize 3234646.

My husband and I both got calls from this number with in a half hour of each other. I blew the guy off, but when he called my husband's number, he spoke to him. Our cell phones are numerically about 30 digits apart, so clear they were dialing cell phones in order. Mr. George Williams informed us that we had won a 2.5 million dollar prize in the Powerball lottery, that our number was randomly selected. A check is being delivered on Saturday at 10:30 via Fed Ex. All we need to do is pay a fully refundable insurance payment of $2,500, which would be refunded when the check was delivered.

And he goes yes identify yourself. I said no, you say my name and he goes, not you say your name. I said tell me the initial of my firs name.. and he just hang up on me... jerk..

This guy said his name was John and was ups delivery. Wanted info so i said i was kind of busy let get your info and i will call you back. Jonh is his name. Package # 1242 and phone 18764715271. I have already spoken with ups about this issue.

Same thing happened to me but at my office phone number.  He called two days in a row warning of a scam and that he was an FBI agent that was just checking to make sure everything was ok.  He also had an accent and I could tell he was playing some kind of scam.  But he didn't try to ask for money or to talk to anyone else.  So I just ignored him.

The caller claimed to be an undercover FBI agent checking into a company for my grandfather, he had a real thick accent like Jamaican or Indian. It was bogus cause when i called from my cell phone he answered the phone "hello loren" and i have a completely different number than my grandfather. When he called back I told him i was his attorney and that if he wanted to talk to Loren he would have to talk to me and I would relay the message! Once I even metioned that I was my grandfathers attorney he quick got paniced and started to mumble and stated if he couldnt talk to Loren he wouldn't talk to anyone at all and hung up the phone immediately! This is a phone fraud! Do Not Give any information of any kind!!!!!!!!!!
