I received a call at 1:35 pm on April first from 876-527-7476 claiming I have won 1.5 million dallors from publishers clearing house .I could not hardly make out what the man was saying took several times for me to understand after putting me on the phone with another man.Then he wanted me to go to the local dollar general to purchase an over 300 dollar pay pal card I said sir when someone wins something they do not have to pay for it first , then i said  sir u do realize u have just called an employee of the sheriffs department ,may I have your full name and where you are calling from ,the call got silient ,I said sir hello then he hung up . Oh by the way im not employeed with the sheriffs department but its a quick way to get rid of a scam .

I received a call from this person today at 1:20p claiming that I won the publisher clearing house and won $152k, he said he was from UPS and claimed that the call was being recorded by homeland security and the BBB for my protection. He wanted me to send $688 through western union and wanted me to go to target 7-11 or another store... SCAM SCAM SCAM

I just got a call too! He told me to call a number with a confirmation number to claim my prize and he told me he would call back.  So after he hung up and I immediately Google the number and found stuff about 876 area code numbers are scams... From new York or Jamaica.  So when he called back I called him out on it and he went off on me,  cussing up a storm!  He finally said 'F' off and hung up... Lol... Was quite hilarious!

Publishers Clearing House Does NOT Make Hoyse Calls They Just Show Up!!

Just received a call at 1pm today, but the caller id on my phone said Jamaica, and I know no one there, so I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message, and if it were Publishers Clearing House, they would have left you a message, so yep, just scammers trying to get something from you.

I just received a call from this same number and they said Publishing Clearing House too but he was hard to understand kept calling me honey.  I hung up!

this number called me at 2:00pm on a Monday and they claimed to be from the Publishers Clearing House. They said I won $855,000 and that they would be at my house in 45mins. They wanted me to go to Target, Walgreens, etc. to buy some card or something for $335 dollars so that I could claim my prize when they got to my house (I couldn't understand the man well). I started asking questions about who they were and how I was to be sure it was actually Publishers Clearing House. When I stated "so you want me to go to the store and buy something for $335 to claim a prize?" they hung up on me. Did I just miss out on $855,000....I think not!
