Normally I would not answer the phone as I didn't recognize the number.  But my dad had called a few hours earlier with a family emergency, and when I saw that it was a cell phone I thought that a family member might be calling, so I called it back.  The person on the other line, calling from the same number you provided, said they were Publisher's Clearing House, were calling from Las Vegas, and that I had won $2.5 million that could be delivered today.  I played along with them verifying my name, address, and phone number, as I didn't see the harm, while I googled the phone number to see what came up, and got your post.  Then I hung up.  In that less they ten minutes I was supposedly transferred to the manager.  When he asked if I could get to Wal-mart today to pick up the package (me paying something had not even been brought up yet), I said no.  He asked me if I could do it tomorrow.  I asked why there was a deadline.  I was doing all of this while googling, and when I saw your post, I hung up in the process of being transferred to a "lawyer" when I asked that question.  All had Indian accents.  They tried to call me back three times.  I did not answer the phone.  I think I will try to file a complaint with the appropriate authorities.

The person called and said that I had won several million dollars and if I were to send them $1400 they would send me the package that is waiting for me with the money inside.  The person was asking me to send to a western union number 18765674341.  The person also said they were calling from Los Vegas but I thought the person had a very strong Indian accent.  the first time they called they were very persistent because I tried to hang up several times and they would just call me back, I finely hung up and caught them off guard and when I got a dial tone I left the phone off the hook for an hour after.  About a week later the same person called again with the same message and phone number and I left the phone down and walked off and hung up the phone when it began beeping.  The first message on the caller ID was out of area, the next time it read Jamaica
