(I work Midnight shift) said the were looking for some one with my last name in another town in the same county where I live. I spoke with a Jessica Serring and after her statement that calls are monitored and recorded she went into details about a person with my last name...after verifing that I was the wrong person she said that my number would be removed. I asked her for the corporate address and she said she didn't have that information. I then asked for her supervisor and spoke with a Susan Clarke and she verified that my number would be removed. I then asked for her to playback the recording and she said that was not available and that only certain calls would be recorded. I called back ans spoke with a Sherri and she said the address was P.O. Box 3330 in Olathe. The nerve of people fishing for money from good people that have no clue as to what they are talking about.

That's the part that cracks me up the most! "By continuing to listen, you acknowledge that you are _______ ". Who are you acknowledging TO??? A computer??? LMAO!

They continue to call for a person that does not live at my house!!!  It is harrassment and I plan to take action!

I don't know who this is but they better stop calling me.  I am not the person they are asking for and I am on a no call list.

These people have called me twice in the last 2 hours.  I don't know who they are or who they wan. Can I report them to the National Do Not Call Registry, of which my phone is registered?  They say someone gave them this phone number.  I'm sorry, but leave me alone.

If this Brock had your phone number before you them I am sorry to say they and others will call and call and call.  Report them to the FTC and file a claim in the courts.  Document number, time and date of call.  My neighbor has collected $7,350 from companies harrasing him for the person who lived there before he bought the house.

Cause that's another thing, most of the places they get information from are outdated.  So if the previous tenants are still shown to live at a certain address they do a reverse phone lookup and call you that has nothing to do with the other person.  But they harrass you just the same to the point that some people have paid debts that do not belong to them just because of the tremendous intimidation and harrasment by those companies.  And the law is slow in implementing stricter rules for these scumbags.

They just called, of course I do not answer.  The good thing is if they call the first time you get their number if they call again report them to FTC and file a complaint and everytime they call again they have to pay you $500.  Yes you also file claim in court, but my neighbor has collected $7,350.  And if you are unemployed like me it helps alot and you get those pests off your back.  Specially when they call for someone you don't know.

See the law is too linient on those crooks, so we have to stop them anyway we can.  If its suing them so be it.

They call off and on daily and have begun calling my job.  Fortunatly, I am the only employee and the only one to answer the phone there.  I never identify myself and don't talk to anyone who will not identity themselves.  If they are up to no good they will not say who they are or why they are calling.  They are very rude and intrupt my job which happens to be a governement facility.  Wonder what will happen with that now?

I have been getting call fro this number for over 4 months.  I don't know they are because they have no identity. I wish they stop calling me 5 times a day.

Put them on hold everytime they call

I have been receiving daily phone calls from Encore.  Three to Four calls daily.  They keep asking for post dated checks.  I told them if they could get my pay check faster than I could to be my guest.  I thought harrassment from credit card companies was illegal.  I have been making monthly payments but it doesn't seem to make a difference.  They keep adding on late fees as well.  Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   The number they provided to me was 888-710-9984

they have called me over and over again for my father in law and they keep calling cause they think i am lying to them see my husband name is the same as his fathers but different middle names not to mention his step mothers name is the same as mine TOO just different middle names funny huh but anyways so they refuse my personal to stop calling now i keep a log of every call and after three track calls att will track the number seeing as the little slim balls call under unknown name unknown number but dont mind giving out the company number on my answering machine. this is it i am fed up these people cant take no for an answer. what companies like this do is they do what is called a people search where the company pays to search for certain people and it pulls up EVERYTHING everywhere you every lives phones numbers work number cell numbers anything EVER put contection with your name or there name. so they call family friends neighbors bosses. everything i done had this happen once with another company and after i wrote them an email to stop all calls and reported them to FTC the calls stopped. that is the only way to stop them .
