Josh Kent is a fake lawyer and this company called me saying if I didn't pay a debt I owed I would be going to jail. I do owe a debt and was willing to pay however when I asked which company the debt originated from they could not tell me nor could they tell me the amount owed originally. I almost fell for it because I do want to take care of my debts I'm not a thief. I'm reporting these people. It's very scary considering they have my social security number and my address. The man started yelling at me telling me have a nice time in jail that's not what legit companys do plain and simple. I can't belive I almost fell for that crap! I'm so angry that these a***oles who can barely speak english have the nerve to call here and steal money from honest ppl who only want to take care of their debts. People like this will rot in hell and karma is a real bi*** and so am I. I'm gonna figure out how to get these b*****ds back if it's the last thing I do!!!! No man other than my husband talks to me any kind of way.

I was receiving calls from this unknown named company, but under a different number six months ago saying good luck and have your attorney call our attorney. Then I received a voice message from Shawn Miller on 11/16/2012 concerning a legal action placed against me for the remaining balance of a cash advanced loan. So, I called this fake company back yesterday morning and spoke with Brad Johnson and another fake fraud personal. I asked the name of their company, they did not want to furnish the name of their company. They demanded me to pay $444.00 by a certain time. I told them that I did not have the money to pay them. They got mad at me and called me a fraud. Also, they were saying it will cost me at least $5,000.00 for attorney fees, etc., I said yeah right, your company is a fraud and a scam, and I will report to the FTC.

They keep calling my phone saying its a urgent matter and I need to contact them are o am in serious trouble

you can also use skype through your pc to block your number.  *67 will not block your number to toll free lines

BTW they do have to pay a fee for every phone call the is called to them.  call them back as often as you can.  for android and iphone users get an app called  "caller id faker" it is free and gives you the ability to call them back with whichever number and discription you wish.  If they ever try to press charges against you for any reason you will know who they are and they will finally get caught.  have fun with it!!!!

called me several times, and this isnt the first instance.  i played thier game for a little bit and agreed to pay per thier request.  they wanted a western union made out to josh kent to be picked up in hartselle AL.  unfortunately a western union can be picked up any where in the state it is sent to.  So thirty mins later they called back asking why i didnt pay it and that the police would be calling me.  A few minutes later a man called saying it was the jackson county sherrifs department and informed me that i need to pay this or be arrested.  HaHa, i dont live in that county,  i told them that ive changed my mind and will not be paying this.  the next day i recieve a phone call from them again, surprise, surprise right?  this time they say they will call my wife at work.  i said, sure ok, you do that.  i also let them know that they dont have a clue who they are calling or what might be in store for them.  under normal circumstances i would have gone to jail for what i told them.    Now a few more calls from a blocked number, same guy only this time threatening to donkey f*** my wife, really is that all you can come up with, and one time left a message of this.  But in the end no more calls.  no worries my promises are guarenties.

First I received a voice message at my job from a guy named Shawn Miller who said he was calling regarding a legal action pending against me for an unpaid cash advance loan.  When I returned the call the following day, I spoke with someone named Donald Griffin who repeated the claim that I had a pending legal action against me for an unpaid cash advance loan.  This guy had by name, address, social security, bank name and account number.  He said when they tried to collect the loan I had insufficient funds available in my account.  When I asked what was the name of the company and amount of the loan, he said he didn't have the exact name of the company because they represented several companies but he was the Investigation Company.  He first said I needed to pay $500.00 but said they would settle for $390.00 to keep it out of court.  When I kept insisting on proof that I owed the money, he threatened me with the legal action and said he would call my number everyday.  When I told him I found his number listed online connected with fraudulent activity, he hung up.  By the way, both the voicemail and the person I spoke to on the phone spoke with mid-western accents.

I received a call from a guy named John Clark saying that I will be sued or arrested for fraudulent activity on a cash loan of 300 dollars. I never received a cash loan for 300 dollars. He wanted me to pay 718 dollars today and fax him a letter with my social security number and an agreement to pay the money. Also he wanred me to state that I will not dispute this matter in the present or future with a copy of my drivers license. Of course I did'nt do it and he called me back later that day asking why I did'nt. This person also called my job at least 10 times in a row because the receptionist would'nt transfer then to my manager.

I just received a phone call from these people as well and they left a message saying "good luck if you don't call back because you will be paying for everything" I never return the phone calls of people who make idle threats and do not identify what company they are with.

I just received a call from an Indian guy who is treating to sue me for over $30,000 dollars and he wishes me luck on the law suite. But asked if I would like to take care of this now by paying the one time fee of $$$$.  Which he stated will be on my credit report for the next 5 to 10 yrs and I need to take care of this matter immediately. The called Identified himsleft a Steve Clark from the investigation company.

These ignorant people must think they can con people whom info they obtain via the internet I asked them if i could bring  the money to you they hung up in my face.?

I have received several calls from this number, this is the first one in over a year.  So I guess they keep your number on file.

Just received several calls from this number. They called my work number and asked to speak with my manager. I told them no. He swore at me! That right there was a big sign that they are not legit. I'm concerned that they have my work information. I have informed my employer and bank. They are not getting any money from me but I am worried that I could lose my job if these calls continue. They never identified what company they called from. He said his name was Daniel Lee....

I got a call from this number saturday and couldnt understand the Asian woman on the other end..

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

Same as above There sad that they wish me good luck if I did not call back. I just hope that they will stop calling now but I would bet the will still call. If anyone knows how to get them to stop please let me know.

fake debt collector saying i got a payday loan through them trying to collect money total scam do not send these people money

Asked if I was committing fraud, left a rude voicemail stating I was in big trouble an wished me the best of luck.... Said they were suing me for 10,000 an then unasked to talk with the attorney an denied me yalkinh with them... Then sai if I paid 928. Theybwould wipe all charges against me... Told me to send my signature over to a fax number asap which I didn't... Calle work all day harrassing calls etc very very rude

He called 15 times while i was at work and continued to harrass me there.   told me i had until friday to pay X amount or id be turned over to the authorities, and would be arrested.     the attorney told me differantly and told me to ignore the calls til my appointment and they'd deal with it from there.  but when I attempted to search the guys name, and law firm, nothing comes up.

I have recieved the same call only they were harrassing me at work, and then told my manager to shut up when she told him to stop calling.   I went to an attourneys office at first, because I wanted to clarify that i couldnt be arrested for debt and he didnt even know how much i owed in the first place. I do admit i have debt to pay, but he should know.   First sign of a scam, but i wanna know how he got my work number and all my information.

Got the same call today. He left a message on my answering machine basically saying the same thing.

They called me saying that they were representing a cash advance company and that i got a 300dollar loan that i never received and threatening legal action. If i didn't send a copy of my drivers license. And the last four of my social as well as a letter stating that i will not dispute this now or in the future   i called back several times and aske what company it was and each time getting a different answer one of which being the federal government and that it was a janitor and driver. That called. I would like to find out what company has sold my information to a foreign company that has called me in the past for the same thing this is ridicules  any one that can help pleas let us know

this indian guy is calling me from this number and saying am comiting fraud and am going to have some serious consiquences he was calling me from a 2143960046 but since i told him i had repoted him and have a police report he is now calling me from this number.
