These guys have been taking 125 dollars a month out of my bank. Omg.

This company calls my cell home and home phone. They use these numbers also 301-591-9409, 202-552-4663. I have spoken to Troy Anderson, Mr. King. I ask them not to call my phones because the person they are looking for does not live here. They hang the phone up on me. they call 4 or 5 times a day for the last month. I told Mr. King I was calling my Lawyer and he hung up on me.

Called my cell numerous times looking for my son.  They (Tracy Daniels) stated that he, my son, owed monies for a debt and they were trying to collect.  I have received this call numerous times but I usually never answer calls from unknown numbers.  They never left any messages.  Yesterday I decided to answer and the above was what I encountered.  She also told me that they would remove my number from their calling list.  My husband also received this call on his cell phone.  We would get these calls sometimes twice a day for about the last week now.  

These people are pure scum. They called my cell phone, home phone, and even my ex-girlfriend's phone about a collection account for my supposed debt.

The problem? I don't have any debt. I don't have a mortgage. I don't have a car payment. My credit cards are paid in full. I have a couple stocks, a couple bonds, a couple bucks in my checking account. No debt though.

They mention a bank I had an account with in 2008. I don't owe this bank a dime.

I believe these people are buying lists of people who may or may not have owed money to financial institutions in the past. They are prepared with tidbits of personal information about you, the last four of your social, the name of your county. They are aggressive and speak to you as if you are in trouble.

Don't fall for it.

I didn't. When these scum threatened to call my place of work about this debt that doesn't exist, I must admit I got angry. I let the freak on the other end of the line have it and hung up. He was dumb enough to tell me his name, so I called back the next morning to continue our "polite conversation," and I'm thinking about doing the same tomorrow.

If this moron actually knew where I worked, he would know I work for, drumroll...the media! Local television news, in fact. You dumb piece of crap. We do stories about YOU every couple of weeks...scum "debt collectors" who use threats, harassment and intimidation. My boss would probably transfer you to the "I-Team" you idiot.

These lowlifes think they can bully innocent people like this? No, even a person that actually owes money should not be threatened. As people on this thread have indicated, legitimate debt collection is done mainly through the mail.

I'm sick of it. I would never fall for it, but my heart breaks for elderly people or trusting people who these do***e bags have no doubt been able to take con.  

If these people call you, use it as an opportunity to vent. Let your rage out. Tap into the dark side. Feel the power coursing through your veins, and tell these scum what they are. Do not be afraid of cowards. They want to intimidate you? You intimidate them. They're the criminals.

They will never follow through on any threats against you because they are a criminal operation.

Even if you may have owed or do owe something to someone, it's not to these clowns. They are a criminal operation.

If they threaten to call your workplace (and you don't work for the media), tell them you're calling the police and hang up. Then, if you're feeling spicy, actually call the police...the Amherst police that is (413-689-1311), and warn them of the scum in their midst.

They have been calling me asking for a relative. They have done this before and I keep on telling them not to call me.

Having a website doesnt make you legit. GoDaddy offers websites for 9.99 a month..LOL

I suspect that it is a scam of some sort.  The call was local, 504-662-1655, but the return number was 877-225-9049.  It was a robocall.  It was garbled and I could not understand who they were trying to reach/locate, but it was not me.  i ask that they not call but I have receive another call.

just got a call from this # asking for my daughter in regards to a civil claim in the county I live in. Immediately was suspicious because she has nothing that would be pending in my county. Thank you for the info on here, I was worried.

I received a call from this number as well.  They were trying to reach a family member but called my cell.  They were very vague and didn't off the bat know that the name they were asking for was a family member.

Do I have to go to these people physically to stop these calls. If I  they don't stop I quess that will be the only choice

Veller or Beller and Associates called and said it was a time-sensitive liability and asset investigation regarding an individual I had never heard of. Part of it was an automated message with press 1 to speak to a representative. I believe this is a cam.

Received call from 72259049,  stating call was in reference to charges against my ex of 4 year in the county we live in that either he or myself need to contact themleaving number and extention.... not married to man not  my business.......

beller is calling me at my number since November and now from a local connection they hired in Wisconsin. I explain that's not me u want who ever had this number before me; they harass and want my info and won't let up. we even contacted their client they work for guaranty bank in Wisconsin at their corp ofc. ha. client denies contact w/beller. ha. turned this over to atty general in their areas.  have a life! and it doesn't include this. ha.

I am getting these phone calls all of a sudden and they are looking for a person I've ever even heard of . They leave a message saying to call that other number back but the number they are calling from came across my caller id as local. I called it back...and a hispanic woman answered. I told her she had the wrong number..I could hear traffic in the background. She said, 'ok we'll remove the number', never even asked FOR my number ( I guess it was on her caller id ), and then hungup.

This company is fraudulent.  If they call you you should sue them.

Per the FDCPA, you should never pay any caller who refuses to MAIL a debt validation letter which would give you the original creditor's name, date of debt, amount of debt, amount still owed, date of last payment and if the caller has the legal right to collect said debt.  

Per the FDCPA, your caller must mail the DVL within five days of the first call to you.  Do not accept email or fax.  BTW, a bill or invoice is not proof that you owe money.  Report your caller to the FTC, FCC and your state's Attorney General.

Call harassing me stating I owe $ to a bank they kno all my info and only finally sent me something to my email and when I open it it says double error and then goes to this zeller and associates web page. They told me they were taking me to court if I didn't pay up but they will settle with me. The guy I got today was super nice but the one I got last week was rude and wouldn't give me any info. They call at all hours day and night. Even on the weekends.

You are right if they are calling concerning a debt if you ask for validation they must submit also prior to contact via phone they should have sent a letter regarding the debt etc. this is the legal way

I was also getting calls from these people usually everyday for around 2 weeks, calling from 716-362-6419 (listed as being from Buffalo, NY). They keep asking for someone called Jordan in the messages. I was a little confused about this, though, because about a month before a hospital in my city called my number to remind this Jordan about an appointment. If this is a scam (which it probably is based on how many other people they keep calling) I don't know why both would have the same name. I'm just assuming that they got ahold of my number somehow, maybe from it being on a list from the previous owner of my number?

They started calling me out of no where off the hook. I finally called back after they contacted my parents house. She said a bank I had 5 years ago that I overdrew from is suing me for not paying them back. That did happen with the bank so I figured it was legit. She lowered what I owed by 300 and when I called today and told her I didn't come up with the 600 she was so nasty to me. She was literally yelling at me. I have never been treated like that in my life. I gave her a card number cuz I got scared of getting sued but I have no funds on that card. I'm so torn, should I pay them or not?????? I do not want to get sued! She wouldn't accept payments.she said "they rather sue u than take ur payments" help!!!

They called from this number: 818-493-6020 (which is listed as belonging to a locksmith in Oxnard CA), left a message saying they were calling to collect a debt, and left the 877 number above. I definitely do not owe any money to anyone, so I'm sure it's a scam and won't even call back. Thanks everyone for the posts

To follow-up:I blocked their number using AT&T Smart Limits, about 5 days ago. I just got a call from 877-228-9049. Are you kidding me? What a bunch of a**les!!

They are a scam, don't communicate with them.

I have received lots of pH calls from them.  And yeah it's irritating, but talk to SAM GARCIA and he is polite, friendly, and to sum it all up AWESOME!!!!!!!

They have been calling my cell phone everyday for about a week now. The prerecorded message says this call is for my husband. I've tried picking up and calling back but I can only ever leave a voicemail saying that you all are calling the wrong person. My husband spoke to them a few days ago and they claim to have a debt of his (before we were married), but we have no proof. They refuse to provide documentation and only want our account number to set up automatic payments. Oh and yes they said my husband is being sued. BS! I'm so frustrated that they keep calling ME. I'm thinking of changing my number. My husband checked his credit report and they aren't on it. I don't know what to do to make them stop!

Update:  I filed a complaint with the BBB and surprise surprise, there was NO RESPONSE from Zeller & Associates and the BBB has closed my complaint for now.  Luckily, I haven't been getting anymore calls from them since I sent them 2 letters.  Hopefully if more people send the right letters and complain to the BBB this company will get shut down.
