Got a text message from MsgID2_6NMWIK0G@v.w today. It says, "Credit Union West Alert: Your CARD has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at 877-234-2271 to REACTIVATE your CARD."

I received the same msg at 7pm 10/9/09. I don't even have a card that starts with those numbers. And normally you don't receive a text msg about a card being deactivated. You usually get something in the mail, or when you got and try to use the card.

This is clearly a phishing scam. If you get this text, disregard it or report it however you see fit.
