They been calling since April every morning. And then the same guy gets on the phone and says hes someone else but sound exactly the same. Im on deployment and they still call.

I get calls from Midland Credit Management aka Midland Funding aka Encore Capital Group every day at all hours of the day and night.  They never leave a message.  Now they contacted my credit card company and tried to change my address.  Yesterday, they hacked my cell phone, and called my land line.  The caller ID said that I was calling myself.  I had my cell phone right beside me when the U-verse caller ID confirmed the info.  My wife answered the land line, and it was someone from Midland Credit Management!  More illegal activities by the corrupt collection agency!...   877-411-5551

Yes, there's that network connection between IQor, PRA, and MCM. I'm sure there's others as part of this network of predatory cowards!

Their use of 3rd world call centers adds to their deceptive and corrupt business practices. You are explaining 3rd party debt collection tactics used to prey on friends, families, children, elderly, vulnerable, and uninformed consumers and their non-compliance with state and federal consumer protection rules, regulations, and laws.

This number has phoned my mom's new cell phone a record 26 times.  I purchased her phone over the holidays and shared the number with no one but my immediate family.  She just keeps this phone in her purse for emergencies.  What the hell!

They called me multiple times so I blocked them. Then they started to call me on +1 (877) 411-5551 and so I blocked that now they started to call me on +1 (877) 822-9054

they started calling me on 4/15/2014  almost every other hour it's starting to get under my skin and every time i answer it they hang up.

is there a way to contact a phone operator and report them for harassment?

Getting 2-4 calls  every day,  Number is blocked.  I see many have reported that the calls were about T-Mobile accounts.  I did have them at one time, but it was over 8-10 years ago.  

receive call from this company all times of night and day. Sound like they could be indian descent. But, I know its a scam, just wish they would stop calling.

Super information if everyone of us takes action we can put a crimp in the way MCM does business.

Thanks for the helpful post. I also successfully sued MCM for illegal collection practice. My caller claimed to be a US Marshall but couldn't speak English.

Should be some kind of way to get back at people like that. Guess that's all they got to do all day. Just got another call from these scumbags.

I've got calls from ~2~ different 1-877 numbers belonging to these xxx-holes...

They were calling 3- to 5 times a day from 1-877-237-0512, and now they call from 1-877-411-5551...

Nobody alive or dead in my family owes any outstanding debt. I blocked the 1-877-237-0512 number, and I also am now blocking the 1-877-411-5551 number which they will soon discover because the phone doesn't ring when they call...

What I think they're doing is calling any number(s) that come back to the person that has the same first or last name as the person they're looking for, the idea being they might get lucky??? They're definitely on a fishing expedition I'd say...

Don't get all bent out of shape over these calls - let your Caller ID and call blocking do the work for you - ignore these
xxx-holes!

Or better yet, if you do answer the phone and one them starts yapping at you - blow a police whistle into~loudly~ the phone!

It'll hurt their eardrums! I know of what I speak, I put myself through college working for one of the real sleaze bags in the collection business back in the early 80's. Doing that will make their day! ~LAUGHING~

I called them back and they answered!

It's a debt collection agency. They had the wrong number. I had them pass me to their manager and tell them of how many times I get called and never get connected when I answered and about the inappropriateness of the time of call.

No more calls since!!!

And just to make sure, I have called them a few times and hung up shortly after they answer. I'm sure it's nothing to them, but it gives me some satisfaction

I know the person they asked for but that person DOES NOT live here #1 and certainly DOES NOT HAVE CREDIT ISSUES #2 and also would NOT  give my # to be harassed !!!!!! they called several times I answered once before and told them the mentioned person did not live here .... and they called again today SUNDAY 8:00 am !!!!! someone has to put a stop to this

They keep calling and never leave a voicemail. I never pick up but I would love for it to stop. They call me daily.

I kept getting calls all hours too from this number -glad I decided to look it up and found here. I got enough problems without this harassment. Thanks everyone.

I made the mistake of answering their call. They had the debt right, I said I wanted it in writing. They said they have been sending it to my address, I said no they haven't, they said I would receive it in 5 business days, nothing. So I'm ignoring them.

Same story happened to me. No matter what you do, they keep calling you. The real thing is that the calls come from a machine.

Midland Credit.  I let the message play out and for the second time in a month, it's all gibberish in the background.  They asked to wait for the next available whatever.  Click! Gone.

Not that easy. They will call you again in a couple of weeks.

Same thing   They've been calling for 3 to  4 yrs. up to 6 times a day.  Don't know what to do.  I have no debts at all.
