I keep getting a call from 877-249-2168, but when I answer it hangs up.  I've tried calling back and always get a recording that all Reps. are busy, yet I've held for up to 10 minutes and no one ever answers. Please stop calling me!

What he says actually make sense...no matter what info they might have already, it's a good idea to not give out any info over the phone, since you never know for sure who is on the other end.

I get calls from this number almost every day, asking for my son , In which he is deployed some where in Afghanistan, which I'm a total wreck, not knowing even if he comes back home, I tell them he's not here, they won't talk to me. I'm getting calls that no one will say anything. I'm real discussed with people that can't leave our soldiers along. They are defending us, doing their jobs to keep us safe here in the states. They don't realize the danger they go through every day , yes there are IEDs, bombs, shooting still going on there, he's trying help the troops there to get back here safe , I'm so ashamed the way Veterans are treated, it was like this 40 years ago and still the same, makes you wonder why we even have a military force.

I just received this call from this number but I didn't answer. They need to quit calling and harassing people.

I just got a call by that phone number. I didn't pick it up because I didn't recognize the phone number. They didn't leave a message. I've blocked their phone number. Put them on my block list on my cellphone so they can't call me again.

I also just blocked their phone number on my cell phone so they can't try to call me again.

They just called me. I didn't recognize the phone number so I simply didn't pick up the phone. I don't know why I would be receiving that call. I'm not in debt. They didn't leave me a message.

Hospitals all over the nation related to mercy.

I got 12 calls in one day from this number they never speak and i am about sick of it!

The first time they called, they told me they were collecting on something from a year and a half earlier. I told them I had no knowledge of any outstanding bill that my insurance had not met. I had received nothing in the mail from Valarity prior to their initial call. I told them we'd check with Mercy.
They keep calling me despite the fact that both my husband and I have gone to Mercy's Accounts office where they've looked up our accounts and assured us that we have NO outstanding balances for either of us. I spoke to a manager at Valarity the last time they called and explained to him that according to Mercy I have no unpaid debt. That wasn't good enough for him, he gave me a reference # to ask Mercy about. We did and they again told us we have no balances on either of our accounts. It's really aggravating because I noticed they had called again and not left a message.

Let me start by saying im on SSI and DONT work for them.....but I live in Missouri and know something about this call center. They are called valarity llc and theyre a debt collection call center just outside st louis. They CAN NOT touch a SSI check for anything but taxes student loans and child support. Best thing you can do if youre on the dnc list is let the mo atty general know or you can file a complaint about them online at www.ago.mo.gov.....there you can file your complaint online or even contact their office.

Mercy is not a non-profit, and this company is a scam. I have talked to Mercy & they have no record of any debt that Valarity claims I owe, and the account number they gave me, Mercy said belongs to someone who has been dead for five years.

Every time I talk to Valarity payments aren't an option, full balance or nothing. Looking for health insurance with a different provider than Mercy (unmercy).  I'll pay the hospital itself instead.

They call at all hours. When I finally answered to see what scam was calling now I got an automated system telling me to hold for the next available representative. I held for 3 repeats of the system and hung up. Won't answer this number again and waste my minutes.

I didn't answer their call, but I did call back from a ? sort of? not really ? spoofed number.  Spoofed means:  a different number or name shows up on the caller ID of who you call.  It's not spoofed but gets routed through a real number we don't use for calls, so that's what I mean the number I used was sort of spoofed.  Anyway?

Another note people should remember !!   When you call 800 numbers, part of the 800 service is having the ability to collect your phone number, REGARDLESS if you have some kind of outgoing call block ID.  This is with any kind of 800 number? 877, 800, 866, etc.

We've had  a secondary number for nearly two years, and immediately added it to the national do not call list.  With the surge of VOIP capability it really doesn't seem matter if you're on the do not call list, because they can spoof their number, call from over seas, out of reach of U.S. laws.  My point is - collection companies are probably one of the worse violators of the national do not call list.  

They are solely responsible to KNOW if the numbers they're calling are on the do not call list.  DON'T let them bully you into thinking it's up to you, or that you have to give your name.  You do NOT have to give your name to tell them to remove your number - EVEN if you do own them money - they HAVE to remove your number.  HOWEVER, there's a BIG inclusion here - you MUST send them a letter telling them to contact you only by USPS (according to the Fair Debt Collection Act)

However, this is NOT the case for us.  We don't owe.  Our unfortunate situation is - our number use to be with someone who did owe, and now we suffer for it.  i would switch numbers, but there's a chance this would happen with a different number, too.

AS TO THIS VIOLATOR:  
I won't go into details dealing with these idiots - other than I told them to remove our number, I didn't have to give my name, and I would be filing a complaint with not only the FTC but also their's and my state attorney general's office.  I added the later because if they make such obvious violations - you KNOW they do it to many others.  One rep even changed her name in mid conversation to me.  HA!!

I received a call from this number.  It was a man asking to speak with my son, by name.  I questioned him and he said to have my son call him back at this number and ask for Kent James.  He said he was with Velerity and refused to answer my questions.  Kept saying it was a business deal and insisted that my son call him back.  

They have been calling me twice a day for quite some time. When they call they want my DOB and it's not happening! The caller says it's about a business deal. The only bill I owe is my house note! I will go to the Mercy hospital here in town & get this squared away quickly. This woman keeps calling today & will not quit! What is wrong with these people?

I have no problem speaking to someone who offers a clue as to what they want, but I refuse to give out information that could have a negative affect on my life just because it is asked of me. The offered to give me the first part of my birthdate, in return for the rest of it. Is this normal protocol? I felt very uneasy.

Company is a collection agency, Valarity.  I am a care taker for a 94 yr old woman.  They keep calling here and she has medicare and a supplement.  she doesn't owe any medical bills! I have explained this several times and they keep calling!  They are rude as well!!  If it keeps up, I will not only be calling the BBB, I will be calling her representative!

They called me too. they were with a hospital and asked me for money or they would report me to collections. Soeone somewhere gave them their number and someone must have pressed a wrong button.

When you call back and ask what kind of business they are, they say they are "a place of business" which is fishy from the start...then  they have the nerve to ask you for your social . funny. I have them blocked on  my phone but I usually call them when I get bored and remind who ever answers the phone they should tell all their friends and family what kind of job they have ended up with in life.
