I had charges on my phone bill for a collect call from 661-944-1150 listed in Palmdale, CA. We don't know anyone in California, we don't accept collect calls, and we weren't even at home durring the time we supposedly accepted this 3 minute collect call! I tried calling the customer service number for the company billing me for the call - Billwithus, Inc. 877-257-2455. You get a recording asking you to put in the phone # you're calling about, it rings a few times & disconnects. Scammers! Why can't they get real jobs and be productive citizens instead of trying to steal from those of us that WORK for our money!

I found a charge of  $14.95 on my Verizon bill in Sep 2010. Charge was from Midwave Products. I spoke with a Customer Service Representative at 866-421-4816 and she said they have given me credit for it and it will reflect this on my bill in 1-2 billing cycles. Four months later, the charge still appears on my Verizon bill. Today Feb 2011, I called the same number again. I spoke with a lady at the Transaction Clearing house. She says I might have gotten transferred over to Midwave last time and they might have given me credit, but at Transaction Clearing house they still see the charge and they have given me credit and it will reflect this in 1-2 billing cycles.
This is definitely a scam. Let's all get together and file a class action lawsuit.

Not only did I find a "Midway" on my phone bill, but also a "cybertube.com" on my phone bill and has been on my bill for just about one year...  A person used my name and phone number and got this put on my phone bill.  I have a package bindle with the phone company...

Why you must ask didn't I notice my phone bill went up over $30.00 a month??? Well I was tending to my sick Father,and with rates changing with Dish Network, cell phones, phone bill, etc...  And taking care of my Daddy 24/7 I didn't have the time to tear my phone bill apart...

The phone company states they can't do anything about it, but take things like this off when someone notices them being placed on??? How in the WORLD CAN THE PHONE COMPANY JUST ALLOW SOMEONE TO STICK STUFF ON YOUR BILL AND NOT VERIFY THE CHARGES????????????

Have contacted AT&T two months in a row for bogus charge from this tel #. Last month AT&T put a 3rd party block on my line but I got charged again this month. Now AT&T says there is no such thing as a 3rd party block. Skip customer service and call AT&T fraud dept direct at (800) 438-5678, Mon-Fri., if they receive enough complaints maybe they will put a stop to this fraud, Customer service folks have been very nice but are almost worthless since they provide conflicting information month by month.

my 80 year old deaf mother has been billed 4 times from this company the 1st time she paid it last month i called att and they said they would credit her bill this month she was charged twice! This charge is for fax services! this phone is a tty line how can my 80 year old mother fax from this line?After i call att i will be calling the attorny generals office.

unauthorized charge on my ATT bill from this #.  Checked web address trscnclrng,com.  Trying to get this taken care of now.  Charges have been on bill since September and I have called ATT every month about my bill being so high.  This is the first month a rep told me  Called the # and either no longer in service or dropped call.  Att operator says to stop payment must contact the company.  Got another operator at ATT to call.  Now on hold with ATT while she attemps to contact this #.  Charge is bogus.  Tell everyone you know to check your ATT bill.

Never got a call, but these charges appeared on my Frontier Phone bill, what is funny don't even have a Fax Machine, Frontier is my Long Distance and local telephone service provider' I have know idea how these charges appeared on my bill:

I'm going to call   (877) 257-2455 tomorrow, Frontier no help. I remember when AT&T was our local and long distance provider they would get you and the slammer on 3 way call and get it cleared up real fast, not so with Frontier Telephone Services.

Please write to the Federal Trade Commions complant as the more people who write to them the more action we can expect to get them out of business or fined or both hopefully.  they charged me 14.95 for 2 months of e-fax and i don't even know what it is and have never used it.  try to call them and no one answers.

I got my phone bill yesterday with an $15.85 charge from a transaction clearing.  $15.00 for one call are you crazy??!!! I immediately punched the number in on my computer and was shocked to find this was actually a scam and many people have been victims of this. Well let me tell u I am pissed that there are people out there that do these things and think its ok. I will definately be calling this company (although from what I have seen, and read it might not do any good), see what they are going to do about their carelessness. Then I am going to call my phone company and have them remove the charges, if they refuse then  I will dispute it til the end, write in a complaint if I have to but I do know neither parties will get  a dime out of me for this bull****!!!!!

this "company"  also charged me 15.32 and has added to my att bill, I called att up and they have reversed the charge but still wants me to contact this company which i am doing rite now.  This is ridiculous and i have no idea how they can go thru as a 3rd party and charge me thru my phone bill....then number is 1 877 257-2455 as their call back number.

We're retired also and I check every bill I receive.  I have called AT&T 3 times and told them I did not subscribe to any service from Voice Mail Professionals, Inc. and wasn't paying it and deducted the bogus charge from my payment.  Why don't you do the same, just don't pay it and deduct any payment you have already made.

I have had the same problem the last 3 months and have called AT&T about it each time.  I finally called the 1-877-257-2455 number, told them I didn't subscribe to any outside service, I don't know who they are or how they got my AT&T customer number, but I didn't want what ever the they do.  They gave me a cancellation confirmation number.  In the mean time I told AT&T I was deducting the $14.95 monthly charge from my bill.  I got the same charge again on my most recent bill and went back through the same old crap with AT&T.  A Supervisor assured me this was not an AT&T charge, but it would probably take 2 to 3 billing periods to correct the problem.  I told her that if I got another fraudulent charge from this scammer, I would file a law suit against AT&T, for not screening who is billing charges, through them and I would also go after Voice Mail Professionals, Inc.
Looks like a lot of us have gotten these bogus charges.  It only proves, it's important to check and double check every bill you receive.

Here is what I found on my AT&T phone bill this month, see below. When I called the number I spoke with Agent #3602 and was told I had signed up for "Celebrity Gossip". I never did!! She cancelled and refunded the $14.95. What a scam!

I tried to call this number ( 877-257-2455 ) and it rang one time and then i had dead air. I was told by AT&T to call them so this does not appear on my bill again, but how can I tell them not to charge me again if they won't answer my call??

I am getting the same charges on my AT&T bill. I have called AT&T 4 times, and told them not to allow any third party billing. Each time AT&T tells me that my bill is now blocked from third party billing, but each month I get a charge of $16.22 from Transaction Billing! AT&T must be in on this scam or they would have stopped it by now. It's funny that AT&T can add any off-the-wall third party to charge me on my AT&T bill, but they can't add Direct TV charges to my AT&T bill, even though Direct TV is part of the bundled service I get from AT&T! Check your phone bill closly for this AT&T scam!

1 877 257 2455 = TELEPHONE FRAUD

I received my AT&T phone bill yesterday and I noticed I was charged $15.92 for a third party bill from "Midwave Products, LLC" apparently affiliated with "Transaction Clearing."

I called AT&T and they said said it was a legitimate bill. I said, I don't know who these people are and I never spoke with them before and additionally mentioned that it appeared from the billing language that this is the beginning of a continuing monthly fee they are trying to charge me for services/products I never ordered or asked for.

AT&T tried to get ahold of them and then we had a three way conversation in which they (Midway Products, LLC) asked if I had ordered any on line e-mail cards. I said "No." She said they are only middle person billing company and that they would reverse the charges and then she gave me a cancellation number. She also mentioned that 'reversing this bill' to me would take 2 or 3 months to process. I then asked for her name and agent number, which she provided. I told her that I was upset with this type of scam and that I pass this complaint along to the FTC for further action against her company. She said they didn't do anything wrong and that is my choice to do so. I jsut finished filing a complaint with the FTC. Just Google the word FTC, if you need to file a complaint. Maybe if enough of us do this it might help to stop this kind of rip-off.

i too noticed a third party charge on my bill, AGAIN! Earlier this year the charge was from a OSP Communications, who immediately said, "oh thats a mistake", before I even finished explaining they had billed me.
today, i was billed by Transaction Clearing, LLC on behalf of Billwithus.com
the first call i placed to Transaction Clearing i got the automated loop to be directed to dead air, silence, nothing, and nobody.  i hung up and called again, this time i spoke with someone who did credit the charges to me, then i called ATT & they did give me full credit. I do not have a long distance carrier and ATT said that if i signed up with them, it would stop this problem. I refused to sign up because i don't believe that to be true. I know of two other people for fact, that have ATT as their long distance carrier and they too see these 3rd party charges on their bill.

These companies billing us are relying on people to just pay their bill without reviewing all of the charges in all sections. We have got to do something to put an end to this. Tell friends, family, coworkers, EVERYBODY to check their phone bills religously for 3rd party billing!

Transaction Clearning is out of Texas, I am going to look further into making a complaint against them and their business practices. I will be back here to update as more info comes available.

DO NOT GIVE UP!! KEEP CALLING THESE COMPANIES BACK & REFUSE TO PAY THEM!!
