Event Reminder
This is the Broadridge Proxy services on behalf of State Street Global Advisors SPDR Funds.
They are calling STOCKHOLDERS reguarding proxy materials they were mailed out and had not yet returned.
The meeting has adjourned due to lack of shareholder participation,
so they need as many proxy voted as possible. It only take a minute to vote over the phone.
or go to www.proxyvote.com and type in your control number
(upper left hand corner of proxy card, 12-14 digits)

SPDR's are a product of SSGA - State Street Global Advisors.  Barclays administers iShares family of etf's.  They have solicited me a number of times - when I no longer even hold any of the SPDR etf's.  This sounds like a scam - especially when they attempt to re-direct to a website where I am sure they ask for personal information.  BEWARE.

I am a financial Advisor and a client called me today and said that someone from this number, 877-257-9951, called them and was concern their personal information has been taken.  I called the number and inquired who they were and what were they doing.

In my case,
They said that they are hired by Barkleys to contact shareholders, which you are, to explain that they have received a proxy vote and encourage them to vote.  The information given to them is a list of people that have not returned their proxy vote.  They receive only a name and address which Barclay's SPDR fund sent the original proxy vote.  This company said that they search for the proxy voter's phone number via white pages and/or internet then they call you, which was the call that they received.

I am not concerned now as no personal information was given and only your name and address was given to them.  They also said that this is relatively new and apologized if it caused concerns.

Called my house mate's land line (not mine), asking for me, saying I already had a Spider/SPDR fund with them (and that it wasn't telemarketing).  My house mate asked for the person's number, which I listed above.  No idea who they are.
