Called 6 times in the last 6 days. Times must be tough and sales must be down. Never asked for any of this telemarketing crap from the Brick ****house when we bought our microwave. Never will shop there again as a result of this. This is all it takes. Are you reading this, Brick people? How to lose a future customer in 6 easy steps. 6 telemarketing calls in a row. I called to complain. You can have your name removed from this list by calling the Brick's privacy department, at 1-866-508-7766.
If you're like me, you don't remember ever consenting to telemarketing from the Brick and you know that you would never have consented to such calls knowingly. Call them, tell them never to call you again, and complain to the CRTC about them if they continue to call despite your complaint and your registration on Canada's "Do Not Call List."

So this number has called me EVERY DAY for the last month - I never answered and they kept calling and never leaving a message. Today I broke down and answered the phone.....
Calling "on behalf" of the BRICK regarding a purchase i made LAST YEAR asking me to buy extended warranty on surround sound system (valued at 100$ but she said $600 today when she called) I got for FREE as part of the promotion when I bought a TV (which has the extended warranty). Why on earth would I pay 100$ for extended warranty on a 100$ item I got for free. Defeats the purpose of being free? If it beraks I will buy a new one for $100 and NOT have to fight with their warranty people.
She was very pushy and I had a hard time getting off the phone. Let's see if they stop calling now that they got to push their script on me once.

I called the above No. back. A recording says " Alliance I Communications on behalf of The Brick. Please wait for the next available representative. After a couple of minutes, you are asked to leave a voice mail message. I googled Alliance i communications and it is an outsource contact center. The Brick is one of its clients.
I would think that you would have to contact The Brick to have your name removed from the call list.

I called the number back and it is Alliance telemarketers calling on behalf of the brick. First thing I did was get the guys employee ID # then I started swearing (I don't normally swear) my head of to him. Told him to f***ing remove my number from their calling list immediately. Told him to transfer me to his manager, Shawna Getty @ 1 519 667-4844 x 169 and I started swearing at her. At one point she told me that she did not have to listen to this profanity and here was my response to her
" Oh my god Shawna, are you in the middle of an unwanted and unenjoyable call right now.....how f***ing ironic don't you think"
She could not refute or respond to that................lol
. I then called the president of the company...Dave LeClair @ 1 800 430-1899 x 102 and told him if I ever got a call from his f***ing company again I would not be so nice and sweet next time.
Try this....I have never received another call from them again.

Just filed a complaint with the CRTC for this one. This is what we're going to do with every telemarketing call from now on. If everyone could spend a couple of minutes filling out this form, this nonsense would stop in a real hurry since the CRTC just fined Bell Canada 1.5 million for violating the do not call registry:
