Although I don't agree how Jason V stated it, I bought an Alienware through DFS credit. And yes they will hound you when your behind, but what creditor wouldn't?
They've never harassed me or anything, but I appreciated the reminders for when I forget to pay. Obviously if your struggling and can't pay, just talk to them, some creditors especially Dell might actually work something out with you.
You can only run from what you owe for so long ya know?
Done with Dell
Paid dell for years on time and more than min. This pass Mar I paid them in full 688.00 and they refunded it back to me. They can kiss it before I'll send another cent WT is wrong with them?
Get off your high horse and realize that bad things happen to good people. Do you think I asked my husband to have a heart attack , have a quad bi-pass and lose his job all in the same year?
The use a third party payment company for their online processing and it takes DAYS for it to show up in collections system (found that out working there).
the other fun side of the story, if you make a payment late, the calls keep coming. My payment was last so I made a double payment online - and the calls kept coming. After four days I lost my mind and they lady told me that they system doesn't update "regularly" and they didn't even see the account until contact was made. She confirmed I was current and thanked me. But, had I not finally answered the calls would have continued until the next billing cycle as far as I could tell. Interesting, a technology company that doesn't have the ability to update account status regularly.
claiming to be dfs
No, they are NOT Dell financial. They only claim to be. Call Dell directly. Dell has no "877"'s.
They call me constantly and I have paid my bill. Plus, I don't really think it is Dell - the first thing they do is ask you for your social security.
Go f*** yourself
Please remove me from your calling list
fucccc u a**
I can't stand this. They keep calling all day. The dad thing is I answer, but they NEVER speak English. Once they realize I speak English they immediately hang up on me. That the most frustrating thing out of all of this. It infuriates me when they just hang up and then call back 10 minutes later.
This number is by DELL FINANCIAL!!! They are relentless!!!! We've received calls from them every 20 minutes, sometimes only 2 minutes apart! And up to 9 pm at night! A few have been recorded calls expecting you to hold on. Most are from NON-English speaking people you can't understand! I finally told them to ceast and desist or I'd sue them for harrassment! I've NEVER encountered such harrassment and I refuse to buy from Dell again!
My daughter was getting called from this number and she is 14, I don't even know anything about this company... Why would they call my daughter.
This is Dell Financial Services and they will NOT stop calling! I just purchased a Dell desktop PC for my husband for Christmas and my first payment was due last week and I paid it actually 2 days before it was even due, so I have no idea why they're constantly calling!
how many times are you going to post the same damn comments lady
They call everyday at 8am and sometimes earlier. Then they call a few hours later about 3 to 4 times a day.
Add us to your do not call list. (720) 932-0124
I agree -- I paid off my bill, I figure they are calling me -- @work, no less, which they shouldn't be doing -- b/c they want me to spend money!
Trust me, when I worked there, I loved people prank calling. It provided much entertainment in the 9:00 pm - 10:pm period.
How about you learn how to spell!! >:/
This number also calls me 10 to 12 times a day !! Some times 20 minutes apart!!
I don't answer, so they then leave me blank messages on my cell phone!
.... Very Annoying!!!
The other day I called them back and some foreigner answered, with a thick accent, that I could hardly understand but I finally make out Dell Financial Services...
But they wouldn't tell me what the call is about...!!
I bought a Dell computer for my friend 3 years ago and paid in full...
All you can do is put them on the DO NOT CALL listing
They do not leave a voicemail because it is then considered customer contact. I have worked in collections (worst job ever). If they leave a voicemail and continue to call it is then excessive contact. This is a fine line and skirting the reasonable contact rule
Yes, it is Dell Financial. my payment WAS a few days late, (shame on me) but they call me about 10 times a day. Lady called yesterday and I told her I would make a payment online and she said "now why would you want to make a payment online that won't post for five days when you can bring it current right now...I told her none of your business and she hung up on me.
We do pay the bill. We have told Dell Financial every time they call that we pay the bill on the 1st or 2nd Weds of every month through our Credit Union account. Dell says they make a note of it, but they still call just before that Weds and demand payment over the phone which we do not do and we stress that it will be done online via the Credit Union for that is how we have that bill payment set up.
You obviously work for Dell Financial if you are using that language and telling people to pay the bill, which you do know is also a violation of the law also.
It is not illegal for them to leave a message on you home answering machine or on you caller ID. In fact if they just said this is Dell Financial Services and their phone number, they would be called back. They do not need to say any more than that and for them not showing up on ones caller ID is just fishy. They have done both with my phone number. Sometimes they leave a message on the answering mach. and sometimes the don't.
I keep getting harassing phone calls from this company.
This is Dell Financial calling me. I make a payment every month and I get a call from them 3 0r more times a day.
this is a business and they keep calling and hanging up with out even speaking a word. I tell them who I am and who I am working for and they just hang up. I've gotten 3 of these calls over 3 hours and I am getting annoyed this is a place of business and they wont say anything, so why don't they just stop calling or say wrong number just something. To my knowledge no one at our location is having any sort of finance problems.
