Process to eliminate calls from Charter:
1. login to your account.
2. in the "Have a question?" window enter the following phrase: "how do i stop calls from charter", then click "ask".
3. approximately half way down the page there should be a link that is underlined that says "Click here" if you do not want to be contacted by Charter for marketing purposes by Email, phone or direct mail.
4. click on that link and you will be directed to a page where you can change your privacy settings.
Unfortunately, they still may call you within the next 20 days. After that, you shouldn't be receiving any more annoying calls.

Have filled out the privacy form and the calls still keep coming. Finally answered one yesterday and complained that I had requested to be taken off the call list. They said it can take up to 30 days to take effect! I guess I will have to ignore the calls for another 30 days.

calling me for MONTHS AND MONTHS!! I answer and the hang up on me. I called them on the net and they had an alternative number..I talked to a guy and asked..have you ever heard of the number..977-296-5137? He REPEATS it faster than "I SAID IT!" And he said, "no ma'm. does not sound familiar." I said..?wow? you're good! you have a good memory! NOW STOP CALLING ME! ECT. I really let um have it. They stopped calling me for a few weeks. Then started again..but now only about 1nce a week. I just don't answer.

This website isn't affiliated with charter you have to call the number back and tell them to stop calling and they will take you off the list..just did it

STOP CALLING ME.
This is ridiculous, the number of calls I have gotten from this company. Their billing is totally screwed up, and they call you repeatedly, not leaving messages...just calling with recorded messages.
Going to report them to FCC, you can do this ONLINE. You would be amazed at how fast the calls stop.

I got calls from that number about once a day. No caller ID. When I answered the call, there was silence for a few seconds and then the caller hung up.
Based on the info in this thread, I called Charter. The guy apologized and tried to get rid of me. When I asked him to take me off any caller list they might have, he talked to a supervisor. When he came back, he told me he filled out a form that will be sent to all Charter offices to take me off their lists.
Lets hope that solves the annoyance.

Thank God for your link! They call me several times a day every effin day! I told them last month I was not interested in any more services and that I'm moving. I even put in a cancellation order just yesterday since yes, I really am moving. And the place I'm moving to already has service but not in my name and I'm definitely not the decision-maker in that home. The marketing dept may have me switching to Comcast once I get out on my own again in a year or so. What a pain in the a$$ they are. If I wanted to upgrade I'd call them myself. Maybe I should call them several times a day and ask about their deals and then say....".Nah, I guess I'm not interested right now. I'll call you back in a couple hours to save you from calling me and we'll go through all the same things again." LOL Now wouldn't that be annoying?

I must get several calls a day from this number! They even phone in the evenings, and is very upsetting. Thank goodness for caller ID, but still want to know where this number comes from!

Automated call system for Charter Cable is accessing customer phone numbers and calling. Charter admited there is a "glitch" with the call computer. Call Charter and request the "Full Privacy" option. This will prevent all solicitations from Charter.

Have received dozens of calls never leave message and if I do answer it takes time for someone to reply by that time I hand up. Please don't call me any more. I am perfectly content in the services I have no matter what you are selling. Thank you.

They have called me 3x per day up until 9pm in the evening for the past week. They never leave a message. Totally annoying. I wish we had competition in the cable business in my area. I would leave Charter immediately!!!

Here is the link you need to change your Charter settings and make the calls stop:
https://connect.charter.com/cas/portal/settings/privacy.aspx
They will not let you make changes to who has access to you unless you can enter your account number along with name, address, etc. so it's worth dredging that up before you access the link.
Charter acknowledges that this is their Marketing Department that is calling.

Yeah, so much for the "Do Not Call" list. I finally answered the phone with the plan of telling the person that I was on that list. Her reply to me was that because they offer sales or whatever they can call. Then of course because I only have Charter Internet and I have satellite tv she wanted to know how much I paid a month. THAT's when I told her I don't want to give that information & hung up.
I think I just might try that "How to Block Phone Number" idea
