Camille This guy Cory Chase supposedly a license server called me and told me I had to call Attorney Jacob Ramsey today and give him the case # if I don't call him today he said he would be coming to my house tomorrow and he had my address between 3 and 7 and to put my weapons away and any big dogs I have away until he serves me with the legal document summons it would only take a few minutes. The number Cory called me came up as unavailable and the number he gave me for the Attorney to call was 8556347765 and that number didn't even go through.

I get calls from firms such as this periodically and they always clame the same allegations while never following through with their threats. However annoying it may be, the blatant inconsistencies never seem to amuse me any less. I love calling them back when I'm bored at work to harass them just for kicks. They always get so worked up and start getting aggressive with their tones and language. One time I called them and after speaking with the so called "senior general manager" for almost 15 minutes, he actually asked me if I'm slow. I just kept on grilling him on the credibility of his company and justification of his life as a peace of scum. Nothing more and nothing less. Legitimate collections agencies know better than to treat people like that when they're trying to get them to pay an unsettled debt. Honestly if I were their shoes, I would be a little bit nicer to the people they're trying to scam. I think they would get further in regards to getting their money. As for me? I'm not going to fall for this crap simply because I am aware of any activity in my bank account as well as the laws. And if I have any questions or doubts, I consult websites such as this.

I got a call from a private caller. An automated system left me a voicemail telling me to call back at 855-396-7828. When I called the nice lady asked me if I was provided a case number.  I wasn't. Then she asked me how to spell my last name 20 times before she finally got it right. She then to me that there was a payday loan that I didn't pay from June 16 2012 associated with a bank account number that had been closed for way over a year now. I asked her what company she was with. She told me law offices of Jacob Ramsey. She then transferred me to another representative. This time it was a male. He told me that there was an out standing payday loan from 2 years ago from a BMG or Bahama Marketing Group. I have never heard of this company and I sure as heck would have known about 350 dollars deposited into my account as I check it daily. I then asked him what company he works with. He told me Gullman & Kane. I told him that the lady I initially spoke with told me that the company was the law offices of Jacob Ramsey. He said that's the name of the guy who owns the company. I asked him if he has a website. He said they have a website but then switched topics without telling me what it is.  So I told him that I would check the bank statement for that time period and that I would get back to him (I probably won't). I will say however that while talking to them, they seemed very inconsistent with their answers. Also, I looked on their website and it looked kind of incomplete. No physical address or po box. There wasn't any fax number, list of their associates or even a mention of this so called "Jacob Ramsey". I also noticed a spelling and grammar errors on at least 2 occasions. Fishy. I'll be sure to post updates regarding my situation. Best wishes to all who have to deal with these crooks.

Called again today and said he's tried so many times to contact me next step it to do it at my job. And he wants to save the embarrassment. This is amusing.

I got the same call today & said the exact same things..put your weapons & any large breed dogs away. Gave me 877-811-0719 & I called the #...guess what??? No answer.

I got a call from a "licensed process server" citing the same lawyer, Jacob Ramsey. Same spiel, put your weapons away, I'll be there between 3 and 7. This call was asking for a woman who's never lived with me, She's a little older than my kids, but I barely know her. Called her mother, she said these people have been harassing her for years. The call implied, but didn't state that criminal charges had been filed, which is, of course, a lie.

I just got this too by a Valerie Kern who was a process server in my county. Told me they were going to send me a summons tomorrow from 3pm to 6pm. The number they said to call Jacob Ramsey at 8778274867. I'm scared shitless.

They're not going to show up - your callers are scammers.  Telling you to "put up any weapons you own" is just another way they're trying to scare people into paying some bogus debt.  Please do report them to the FTC - www.ftc.gov, the FBI - www.fbi.gov, and your state's Attorney General - you can find your state AG here - www.naag.org.

Same as above but telling me to put up any weapons I own. What are they intending to do that they want me unable to protect myself?

One important thing to remember if these losers have any of your personal information such as your social security number, date of birth or drivers license make sure you register with identity protection notify the credit agencies as well as your banks!!

Scammers saying they are process servers  going to serve papers  between 3pm and 7 pm. Every couple of days. On the off chance they did I waited the first time with my door open watching Victory at Sea. Of course they didn't show. All for a "returned item" from my bank. No way.  
    They're impersonating Officers of the Court. Then give this number to call alleged attorney jacob ramsey. Sim chow dinky dow. Punks.
