I got the same message claiming I owe them money and that they just receive papers on his or her desk this morning and that they will be serving me papers. They called my job nand my mother with the same message.To this day I have not receive any papers.

Same here Jojo...I told those idiots to send me a letter to make sure that I owe the debt.  It is 2012 and if you are going to call me about a small debt back in 2007 I want to see proof.  I could understand if it was a credit card bill for 20k or something.  A large balance is something you don't forget.  I checked my credit report and I have not one mark regarding payday loans so it must be false.  After a couple of days they stopped calling because I wasn't going to pay them one cent.  Oh ya I never got any legal papers either.

This is just a follow up to my post to let everyone know that Gina Wells or Max Day has NEVER served me papers.  After requesting my validaion letter, and told them I was entitled to it by law, I haven't heard a thing since.  And I haven't been served.  Please, make sure you OWE the debt beforing paying these ppl anything!!!

I got a call from these ppl and their "supposed" process servers.  The 1st person to call was Max Day.  He said he would be here last week and still hasn't shown up.  I did call the  company "Global" and spoke with several ppl before getting to my case worker, Courtney Warner.  To which I was threatened and said if I didn't make arrangements, then I would be charged with fraud and intent to deceit (something like that).  I asked for a debt validation letter.  I was informed by them that they don't have to give me a debt validation letter, because they are the litigation department.  My chances of getting a debt validation letter was over.  I said per the law, I am entitled to a letter stating who I owe and when the debt was taken out.  She once again said I'm not entittled to anything, but I would get a letter once the debt was paid off.  They would send it to me via email.  I told her well until I receive the letter, you won't be getting any money.  She said we have you on recording admitting to the charges.  I said no you don't.  On Saturday, I got a call from Gina Wells (on a local number) saying that she was to serve me with papers within the hour.  I asked her where she was located.  She said you don't need to be concerned with that.  You need to be concerned that I will be serving you in the hour.  I said well I am just curious as to where you are so I will know how long it will take you to get here.  So where are you located.  She said if I tell you then that gives you time to leave.  I am located where you are.  I said and where would that be?  She said I have to look thru the papers to see what address I will be serving the papers at.  I started laughing.  You would think she would at least know what city/state she was going too.  She said I had to call Global at a number with a claim number within the hour.  She got really frustrated.  She called me back in an hr to say that this was my final warning.  I needed to call 877-320-3287 or she would be out to serve me with papers in an hr.  Here it is Tuesday.  No papers.

They not only called me at work but also called my HR Manager and threatend to bring legal papers to my job and instructed my HR manager to pass this message along to me. Then they called me 6 times today they are having someone from a local Arizona number call me. They are leaving me messages on both my work and cell phone telling me that they have federal charges pending against me and they have confirmed my residency to officially serve me with papers. They leave a case # and the return # of 877-320-3287. I contacted 2 attorney offices today hopefully one of them will get back to me and action can be taken against this company. The one time that I did speak with them they would not provide me with any proof of the claim that they are trying to collect on. I have not had any collection accounts since 2008 and that is when I filed chapter 7 bk so I have NO bad debt sitting out there that someone should be trying to collect on. I am definately not going to give someone money for something that they cannot even prove that is owed. Hopefully the recorded messages that I have with them threatening me will be enough to start a case.

I received a phone call at work from a Max Day saying he had papers that had just been received in his office to serve me unless I called 877-320-3287 with a claim number (which I don't have right now) to stop being served.  He left this on a voicemail at my office.  He called back within 1 hr and I pretended to be someone else.  He proceeded to tell me, thinking I was "Stephanie", that Ms. Gibson needed to call the above number because charges of fraud had been filed against her and he would be down in 1 hr to serve Ms. Gibson if she didn't immediately call.  He gave the number/claim number to "Stephanie".  He then called my husband's phone and proceeded to leave the same message on my husband's cell phone.  My husband freaked out and called me.  I called the number and all the number says when called is "Global".  I spoke with Ms. Warner.   She informed me that I owed Impact Cash money and that fraud charges are pending against me unless I made payment arrangements.  I asked for a debt validation letter, to which she stated they didn't have to give me anything.  I told her that unless I received a letter with someone showing how much I owed, then I wouldn't be paying anything.  I told her I believed it had been paid off a long time ago (the original debt was taken out in 2008).  She continued to argue and wouldn't give me nothing.  Just insisted on me making payment arrangements.  She started calling my husband again yesterday to tell him that if I didn't make a payment, or contact them, then they would proceed with the fraud charges and I would be served papers.  My husband asked her what it was all about?  She said it was for a payday loan.  He asked her when?  She said did your wife not tell you?  He said no, but you keep calling my phone, so I am asking you give me some information.  She said well it's for a payday loan and if she doesn't pay fraud charges will be filed.  He said what's the amount she owes?  She proceeded to stutter and just said have your wife call me.  He said no if you keep calling my phone, then I have the right to ask questions.  How much does she owe?  Give me the amount?  She said have your wife call and hung up.  Today, Mr. Max Day started calling again.  I informed him that I had filed a suit with the FTC and he was told before to not call my office.  He said I have these papers I need to serve you with.  I will be down there in about an hour.  That was almost 3 hrs ago.

U.S. District Court Judge Virginia A. Phillips in Riverside on Oct. 11 granted a temporary restraining order against the businesses named in the Federal Trade Commission civil action. She also appointed a temporary receiver and scheduled another hearing for Monday .

Named as defendants in the FTC filing were several businesses, many of them sharing a couple of addresses in Corona: Rincon Management Services LLC; Prime West Management Recovery LLC; Union Management Services LLC; National Filing Services LLC; Investment Services LLC; Global Filing Services LLC; and Pacific Management Recovery LLC.

Also named in the civil action are two men said in court documents to be behind the companies, Jason R. Begley and Wayne W. Lunsford. ?Defendants have operated their deceptive and abusive scheme since March 2009,? the documents say.

Court records show no attorneys representing either the men or the businesses. A listed phone number for a man matching Begley?s name in Riverside reached a solar power company. The operator said no one named Jason Begley worked there. A number for a man matching Lunsford?s name in Sun City was disconnected.

In papers filed in Phillips? court, an FTC investigator outlined a sophisticated operation with its collectors following a script to deal with questions and challenges from the people they called.

?Defendants represent to the consumer that he can ?settle? the case by making an immediate payment to the defendants. In fact, no lawsuit has been filed nor will soon be filed against the consumer. Defendants simply use these tactics in an attempt to unlawfully collect money from the consumer,? the papers state.

I was  told i got a pay loan and i owe them 625. i dont even remember getting the loan.they told me the going to serve me papers at my house.but never did some one needs to put a stop to these out rages calls.HIS NAME WAS ROBERT MATTEWS.

I called the number and they will not give me any info except they are a locator service.. they left a message on my phone and stated that I better have a good attorney and that I was going to jail. Irma....these stupid bozos called my cell phone yesterday and today.  I missed the original calls but I listened to voicemails and they were definitely in not compliance with the FDCPA.  I called them back and they told me that they do not make the calls but their locator does.  I told them to give me the locators number and the head case manager is not going to do that so I recorded their calls so I can show their refusal with law.  Then what I did is called the FTC and filed a complaint and called the state Attorney Generals office to file an complaint.  I also mentioned to Global they should have their "locator" stop calling before 8am too.  I am not going to pay someone one red cent if they cannot show me proof of the debt or that they threaten me with legal action to try to collect a debt.  I used to work in collections and this is not the way to get people to pay.  So do not give them any personal info.

These people called me at work tonight and would not stop....said I owed from a payday loan in 2007 and that if I didnt set up payment arrangements right away they were going to come to my work and serve me papers....I had to do this to get a release order.....I need to know who to contact in Wisconsin to stop this harrassement......

That is the exact transcribed voicemail she left me. I have since handed the information off to a buddy of mine at the Columbia Regional Office of the Secret Service and we are debating interstate fraud charges on them if we can get enough evidence and people to come forward. Someone's gonna kiss the donkey on this one. I will be returning the call tomorrow from my Contractual Job with the D.O.D. and have the call traced and recorded. See when you threaten someone you might just want to do a background check on who you are threatening and the kind of contacts they might have.

These a#%^%$## just called me and harrassed me..I never took out a paid day loan in 2008 or 2006..he said they were going to serve me with paper in 1 hour...they also identified themselves as Global....well I went to the Police Dept. and made a report on them...all to find out they are a harrassing company..The police officer said if they come to my home to call them immediately and they would arrest them...they harasse alot of people.....

These people called saying they were Global and need to serve my husband with papers, since the could not get ahold of him they said the would be serving me with the papers ! I need to report them ASAP.

I just got a call from a michael harris stating that i hae charges being brought up aginst me for impact cash from 2008 I have no idea who these people are Hehad me call 877-320-3287 and spoke with a ms gomez and she kept giving me different amounts that i owed. She was trying to get me to set up a payment plan however kept giving me different amounts.. This company is sad

These jerks had someone from a local number call my work asked for my Human Resources department and advised my HR Rep that they were going to be serving papers to my job if I did not call them back within 30 mins. Of course my poor HR rep did not understand what was going on so I told her to give me the # that she stated that I needed to call back into 877-320-3287. THESE a**les are bottom feeders and are all scammers. They will break any laws to get what they are after, I am calling an attorney and I am going to see if charges can be brought against them.

Harrasing phone calls stating i owe 530.00 and fraud charges are being done

what can these people do..i do not remember a loan from 2007  Impact Cash Loan    Release letter.....and....threaten to come to my home to drop off a release letter...Gas is cheaper these days.,

They started in on me a long time ago. Were gone for a while and now they are back. Person does not present himself as from a company but refers me to Global.

There is also someone claiming to have "charges" pending and a claim has been filed from phone number 425-242-5329 - she gave me the 877-320-3287 number and also called my employer's security and used threats, and used threats on my voicemail. I will be turning this person / company into my local attorny general. Let's get these people to stop breaking the law!!!!
