I keep getting calls from this number. It's been months and sometimes they call several times during the day, morning and evening. It's very, very annoying. There's never anyone on the other line or any messages.

I have been getting calls from them. It rings a few times and then they hang up. No messages left.
I recently renewed my subscription to a newspaper.

I get a call from this number at all different times of the day EVERY day for the last 3 or 4 months. They never leave a message. I have called them back on several occasions and followed the directions to remove my number from their list but they STILL keep calling. On 3 occasions I picked up the phone and actually got to tell a human to take my number off the list and they assured me that it would be done immediately and said they were sorry for the inconvenience but they still keep calling. It is a company called SME and they are selling local newspaper subscriptions or I should say aggravation!!!

I JUST CALLED THIS # 877-324-7432 AND THEY SAID THAT THEY WAS CALLING FOR THE LOCAL NEWSPAPER AND WILL TAKE ME OFF THE LIST. I'LL WAIT AND SEE,YEA RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!

i've been getting calls from this # 877-324-7432 for weeks and i am getting sick of it!

I get calls from these guys daily and I get numerous calls each day.  Not once has the call actually had anyone on the other end.  Twice I did get a message telling me to hold for an important call, then it hangs up.  Usually I just get a beep then it hangs up or it will hang up before I even answer it.
I did call back and followed the steps to be removed from the list, but there was no confirmation that it was successfully removed.  I guess I'll see within the next 72 hours.

I just called #410-668-4833.  The gentleman I spoke to was very nice.  Said that SME is one of the companies he has that makes telemarketing calls regarding local newspapers.  He did say that he doesn't work with papers in Illinois anymore and he isn't sure why my info wasn't taken off the list.  Anyhow, he said he would contact SME and make sure they would take my number off of the list.....We shall see...

You can actually put this number on your blocked list if calling them and removing your number does not help.

Someone from this number calls at least 3-4 times per week.

San Antonio Express News telemarketer.  I have told them before to cease and that I am on the do not call list.

This 877-324-7432 number belongs to a telemarketing organization working on behalf of newspapers to sell e-subscriptions to you for $1 per year.  They are promoting reading the newspaper on line and actually show a reproduction of the newspaper page by page which looks like the actual printed one you would receive if it were delivered to your home.  It supposedly includes coupons, TV guides etc. -- everything you would see and get it you had the actual newspaper in your hands.

I found out they are legitimate.  I called my newspaper direct and gave them this 877 telephone number.  They looked at their records and verified that it is one of telemarketing companies they have hired to work on their behalf.  They are now going to research this further because they were under the impression that the Called I.D. number would be showing the local newspaper number and not an 877 number.

I have been getting calls grime them since the start of oct/2010. I have answered the phone and called back to get my # removed and they still call me. This really needs to stop!

Call them back...if you haven't already.  There is an option to be removed from their calling list.  I don't know if it works yet....I just did it.

I received a call just a few moments ago.  I didn't pickup but did call them back.  It is an automated # and they stated they were calling from SME in regards to a local newspaper. They apologized if this was an inconvenience and if I wanted to be removed from their calling list I was to press #1 and follow the directions to be removed.  I did....we'll see if they stop.

I got a call from this number today, and when I answered the person on the other end said "oh sorry wrong number" and hung up.....this is getting very annoying.

I'm getting these calls too and it is starting to be quit annoying.
They call everyday and at random times. I have answered before and there are just two short beeps then nothing. I would like to make it stop. Someone mentioned the local newspaper and I did sign up and my subscription should b ending anytime now. If they were selling newspapers you would think that someone would b on the other line!

I'm guessing it's a newspaper thing too.  All of a sudden we started receiving our local paper and now I'm getting calls on my cell phone.

46 calls from an 800 service called SME working for Rockford Register Star to sell local newspaper.  called 46 times in the last 3 weeks

This number keeps calling. Never anyone there and never leaves a message. At least daily for the past couple weeks.

I've been getting calls from this number regularly (almost daily) since October 6.  It happens at various times of day but always only rings for a short period.  I'd really like to know how to make this stop!
