First representative said they were an employee of United Airlines, offering 2 free tickets for 90 minute presentation. Have had similar call and mailed postcard lately claiming to be from other airlines, offering same thing but upon research determined it was a scam, they try to sell you a travel club membership and will not give you tickets without you paying something and handing over credit card number, so I questioned him on this. He passed me immediately to "supervisor". Supervisor named Tony said they were calling from a local hotel, Crowne Plaza in White Plains NY. Said he was employee there (not at United) and they were doing a travel suppliers presentation and reward was 2 free airline tickets. I asked for more information and again questioned the name of their company. This time he said American Travel Suppliers. He talked more and again I asked for company name. He said S2F Travel Suppliers. As he continued to talk, I googled them - no listing or mention anywhere on web, so I questioned him about their website - he said we are new company, and then in next sentence said we are one of largest companies in travel industry. HA! I said you are new company so have no website, but are one of largest companies in travel industry? He said yes and just expected me to buy into this! I took their number and told them I would call them back if interested. He tried to entice more by offering a three night hotel stay anywhere in America if I called back in 30 minutes... sure, 4 company names in 2 minutes, no website - sounds perfectly reputable...let me hand over al my personal information.

read online it is a travel scam. they ask you to attend a 60-90 minute presentation & with no purchase you will get 2 round trip tickets anywhere in the us, including hawaii & puerto rico, good for one year. sounded good until i did some research.
