Someone...please help! This company calls here at least 2x/day (we usually never answer 800's, but at times we do expect business calls)....asking at times for someone else....recorded message BEFORE speaking to a human. If you speak to a human (I call them back on a BLOCKED #), they try to 'phish' for info on ANYONE. They have MULTIPLE different 800 numbers (800, 877, 866) and have been persistent over the last few months. We only live in this state for 2 months, and our phone # is NEW and 'unlisted'. Verizon says nothing can be done unless we change phone #'s again, and that doesn't insure these calls will cease. NOMOROBO has yet to work with Verizon 'land lines' in this state. Anyone have info on this Allied Interstate LLC that we can file with FTC (NOT Do Not Call....NOTHING happens as we ALL know)! Thank you

We received a call today from this phone number as well and it showed up as "ANONYMOUS" on caller-id. Despite them calling us, they asked for account information to verify ourselves. My naive wife ended up telling them everything before giving the phone to me as he pointed out he was calling from Rogers' to ask about customer satisfaction.
The person on the line was gentle and kind, but seemed nervous and stuttered often.
I thought it was a scam for sure so I called Rogers at 1-888-rogers1 to see if an outbound call was made. Luckily, there was a note on the account stating that Rogers DID call my place 20 minutes ago so it would seem that this isn't a scam but just a poor attempt at building relations with customers.

It's roger customer care department, bad care department. Answered it some automated voice tells me to hold because of my upgraded phone and then proceeds to hang up after i wait. Call back 6 times get hung up on 5 times. Dealt with them 2 weeks ago told then to stop calling the number they are calling as its not the primiere on the account, do they listen. No. Told them the same thing today.

I was at my computer when this number phoned. I quickly Google-searched the number while it was ringing and by the time I got to this site, 3 rings later, they hung up. What a waste of their efforts! Couldn't even wait for my phone to ring 4-5 times.
P.S. I feel the exact same way about the "Rogers Arena" here in Vancouver. It's called GM Place and always will be!

Save yourself the grief... the calls are on a automatic system and to make them go away, you must pick up the call and answer itl, there is NO charge to your phone and no minutes deducted. YES, it is a survey from Rogers on how you like your new phone... the guy I dealt with was very thorough. This is safe. BUT in saying that, for every call I get that I don't recognize, I look it up on the internet and learn that YES... there are scams out there and a lot of bad people. Here's to staying safe!!!

That was painful. This is how it went for 10 minutes:
"Let me see here...ummm...let me see here...looks like you have the My5 plan...goooood...excellent...so you know all about that.
"Now let me look at your bill...goooood...let me see here...looks like you have the 400 shared minutes...goooood...and the unlimited text...gooood...so we don't need to upgrade you there....excellent."
10 minutes of my life I will never get back.

Stop bitching and be glad they care? Are you kidding me? They don't even friggen answer or say anything when they call. The last thing Rogers does is care or give a s***.

Received a call from this number twice within 5 minutes yesterday but picked it up and no one was there.
I just wish they would go away.

I've had the same problem. This number keeps calling my new cell phone and no one answers. What the best solution out there for dealing with this problem?

i called the number back that called me, they said it was a collection company (but didnt say a name) and i owe for a payday loan i took out 3 years ago (which i dont recall doing). so it is to my believe that these people are just trying to get your money for nothing.
Fido 2011-12-22 02:25:32 Unknown
You must have unlimited minutes then, I prefer not to waste mine on unknown numbers. A reputable company will leave a message on voice mail.

This number is a scam. Been recieving it for the last six months few times a week. I never did an upgrad Rings once then hanges up. Call back says rogers. but its not. Nothing you can do about it. I have an android phone so all i did is add the number to regect list.

I am a Verizon customer, this number has been calling me almost everyday for about two weeks. I have called it back, and yes it does say "thank you for calling Rogers blah blah blah"......but....um, I don't have anything with Rogers....sooo.....
Not impressed 2011-12-02 19:40:48 Unknown
They've called countless times in the past week. I finally picked up, they identified themselves as Rogers, and then proceeded to ask me for all sorts of identifying information including birth date, etc. to verify that they're speaking to the right person. I can understand asking for them, if *I* call them. But, I refuse to give that out when the number doesn't show up as Rogers and when they're calling me. Poor decision on their part!

Just got a call from this number. No message was left. Not sure if it's Rogers....but, recently I did upgrade my phone. A message would have been nice. Oh well.

I upgraded my phone 2 days ago and got a call from this number today...The lady said that she was calling from Ohio.I got very suspicious and hung up on her..I called Rogers and the rep did not have any ideas about this number...They got the list from somebody but Who??
Nony 2011-11-07 15:41:35 Prank Call
Has called me three times and only rings once, no message and no chance to pick up. Frustrating. As many others I did a hardware upgrade but I also feel if they are calling to see if I am satisfied, they might care enough to stay on the line until I answer. I am with Rogers like many others but am not impressed with prank calls. I am a mom of two young children and don't have time for nonsense.
mike 2011-11-04 20:45:30 Unknown
they call me too but it always just rings once. kind of annoying when you listening to music
Johnson 2011-10-31 18:36:50 Unknown
just got the call yes a got an upgrade recently, the reason they dont show you caller ids is because they outsource agencies hard to block numbers when there are lots of them and they call for diffrent companys
susan 2011-10-22 20:42:03 Unknown
I got a call but didn't answer since I don't know this number. But just bought a new phone so maybe its rogers checking up on me
Sean Ray 2011-10-21 15:00:55 Unknown
You don't know anything. It is a corporation, not a person. They need to have their names appear on Caller ID. It is not about caring. I suggest you stay away from internet all together to avoiding making everyone angry.
Ex-Rogers Employee 2011-10-13 19:19:33 Survey
Rogers does follow up calls to ensure your happy with the service that was provided to you at the time of purchase. It's a ten minute survey that is forwarded back to the store for review of the employee. If you are upset with the level of service that was provided to you during the sale, this call is your chance to let your opinion be heard. If your recieving calls on your landline, it is because that number is in the account as an additional contact number. If you really want them to stop calling, answer and tell them no or call into Rogers customer care and tell them to put you on the no-call list.
Dean 2011-10-07 00:36:20 Unknown
It makes sense that it is Rogers. Upgraded my Rogers phone last Friday. Just got a phone call today the following Thursday. Didn't answer.
