This company is run by a bunch of scam artist. Oh the dinner they provide you is fantastic, the presentation is fantastic, what they offer you is shown in the presentation they provide. It's a little green box attached to a doll house to show you how much you can save on your electric bill. Once they come to your home to install the box your in for a big surprise, it doesn't do what they claim it suppose to do. A week or two later, they come back to the house and put this so called metallic paper in your attic telling you it will keep your house warm during the winter, and cool during the summer. Year right, and they also rap your water heater in it, giving you a line of b***s*** about how much it will save you on your gas bill by having it wrapped. Truth is buy yourself a water heater blanket and save yourself $3,500, because that is what it is going to cost you if you get involved with this garbage. They offer you a full refund of all your money if you are not completely satisfied with the results, but you have to provide them with copies of your utility bills for all that time. Yeah, so its been five years since I had my green box install, and now they can't be found to apply for my refund. At the time I got suckered into this crap they were located at 321 Main Street, Suite A, Rockport, IN 47635 Phone (877) 414-4258. Another address given was 915 S Main St, Suite 408, Evansville, IN 47708. All I can say at this point in time, is to avoid being scammed, go eat the free dinner, but after you finish eating, get up and walk out, because the b***s*** is enticing.

My only comment is why not use their real address.  The address on my letter is a $775,000 house in Ky.  This just makes them look fake.

I'M NOT SATISFIED WITH YOUR PRODUCT.  I'M NOT SAVING ANY MONIES, IN FACT BY PG&E BILL WENT HIGHER THAN EVER 399.75 this month for one person.  I had PG&E come out today and they said they have never seen anything like this and I should contact you.  I've tried to get them to give me the savings discount that you said I would get on electiricity I didn't use--PG&E said that would require you to notify them etc.  I'M ASKING FOR A REFUND OF MY MONIES AS YOUR SALES PERSON PROMISED IF PRODUCTS DIDN'T SAVE MONEY   PLEASE RESOND TO THIS MESSAGE

Just got the letter. Going to Chuck's Steak House on Rt. 20 in Auburn, Ma on Tue. March 13 th.  they have good prime rib, so why not?  We already have solar electric and hot water, so couldn't buy anything anyway. But we'll have fun talking about solar, and maybe help some folks find a good local company that will be better for them if they want solar.

They are scheduled to be at the Station 220 restaurant in Bloomington, Illinois on 8/24.  They must not be too sharp because they listed the location as Normal, Illinois instead of Bloomington.

So far, they don't seem like they are scam artists. I made the reservations. We are under no obligations to buy anything or sign anything, I guess I see nothing wrong with hearing about what they are selling.

I too just received the post card for the free dinner at Sothwoods in Cudahy. The food is excellent. My postcard says "leave your checkbook at home", and as long as I I don't have to sign anything and I am not put under any obligations to make a purchase of any kind, I will gladly hear what they have to say over a steak & shrimp dinner at Southwoods!

One thing, I thought of. Do they have some thugs drive up to your home and steal everything but the kitchen sink while your enjoying dinner? I would guess thats probably not the case. I guess we will find out!

We got a postcard from Solar Technology Incorporated on August 18, 2011. The new number they are using is 1-800-881-9443. The card says, "There is nothing to buy, so leave your checkbook at home!"
I like the quote someone else used, "colorful ghost of a business"! One says, "both Better Business Bureau and the Middleton, KY Chamber of Commerce have no info..." so looks like the owners keep a low profile. Our meeting in South Eastern Wisconsin is at South Woods of Cudahy, (a restaurant I know to be good as I've eaten there...) The date is, Tuesday August 23, or, (and ?...) Wednesday August 24, 2011. Me and my wife have appointment for steak dinner on Monday, August 8, 2011 at 6:00pm. From this bulletin board I realize it is Solar Tek Inc. (or maybe Solar Technology Inc.)  Did you get scammed? Is it high pressure and do they want money up front? We are wondering if it would be worth the steak dinner just to go and hear....I just don't want to purchase anything.  Thanks,  Keith

We are trying to nail these thieves and are helping our attorney gather information on them.  If you still have the postcard invitation, I will pay for a hard copy of it. They are a bunch of scam artists who have utilized several different names in their various incarnations doing business.  All the same stuff, different day,  Many thanks for your help.

In my case, I got a postcard.  With the Shelbyville Road return address, and a phone number of 866 808 7663.  This was for a sales pitch over dinner in Emmaus, Pennsylvania (near Allentown) on July 19 & 21.
You shouldn't have to use bogus sales tactics to sell  a worthwhile product or service.  But some salesmen prefer to do it that way.
No, I didn't go to the 'free' dinner.  I would much more enjoy peanut butter at home than steak under the watchful eye of a high pressure salesman.
These sales tactics are a warning sign that the service may well be overpriced.  Shop around.

I googled the address on the card, 12123 Shelbyville Rd, STE 167, Middletown, KY, 40243 and found this to be a UPS Store and STE (Suite) 167 is actually a rented mailbox! I cannot tell if this is a scam or not, but in my opinion this is not a very good way to start.

I would like to know if anyone has attended this seminar and it is worth the free meal at a good local restaurant - Just don't want to feel like I am being held hostage.
