I have received two calls from this number, which I do not accept as I have no idea who they are. I have voicemail setup on my phone, but they have not left a message. I am SUPPOSED to be on the no-call list.

I believe this is a phishing scam. My phone rings and either no one is there or I get a recording asking me to wait for the next representative. Either way, the call ends abruptly with a busy signal.
When I returned the call, I spoke to someone with an accent that was difficult to understand who stated they needed my information to verify I was the correct person for "security" reasons.
After I asked for their information, I received a sketchy reply and another request for my personal information. I said, "if you called me you should have that along with the number you called" to which the call was cut off again.
Never give out personal information over the phone or internet without knowing who is on the other side.

They claimed to be Brachfeld Law Group in Massachusetts.  They claimed to be a debt collector for medical facilities (hostpitals, emergency care, etc.).  Since I hold no debt, I told them this was impossible.  I asked them to verify my social and birthdate, which they were able to (scary).  At that point, I asked to be transferred to a "supervisor".  I asked the supervisor to prove to me that they were a legitimate company, to which she gave me an empty reply.  Then, I asked for their business license number, which they also declined.  This company is a hoax. Brachfeld Law Group does not exist in Massachusetts.

FALSE DEBT COLLECTOR

A man calls me every day saying  hes from a attorneys office. I cant understand the way he talks very much but he says I owe a 2,000 and something dollar balance for medical bills from 2009. I told him I got my identity stolen so if he could please mail me a copy of the balance, he said no I need to pay today by credit card.i told him to email me a copy and asked him for his id number he refused to give it to me. He says I will give u a few min to get a prepaid credit card and ill call u back. I said ok when he called back I did not answer he left a voice mail saying that I lied about paying the balance and I didnt answer my phone. And  he called again and  I answered it he said that I need to pay right now, because he says I told him I was going to pay. I told him I never said I was going to pay anything because my idenitity got stolen and I need proof its my bill. So he put me on hold and I knew he was not honest about what he was saying so I hung up these people call me every day and im tired of it...

8/17/2012, 3:50pm a "Shirley Matthews" asked if I were Jim Halleck.  I stated yes and I asked her name.  She told me and said she represente  "Fine Law Group" and this delt with me being involved with a fire.  I demanded their law practice identification number, address, phone number.  The subject became extremely aggressive and refused to give me the information I wanted.  She disconnected.  I called the Fine Law Group in Nevada.  I reported that someone is using their name and they should take action or start a file.  They said my call wasn't the first.

Getting calls from this number. I plan to play along with each call and waste what they call their allowed phone time since they apparently use a call center. This technique of dragging out a phone call also works well with people on sales commissions as they don't like to waste their "talk time".......

keep geting calls from this number and when i called back a recording said  the number had been disconnected but i still keep getting calls from the number so dont know how its disconnected. the lady left a message said it was urgent that she spoke with me that its a law group really think its a scam

Keep getting these calls from this number asking to speak to my husband some guy named Mr. Jackson, with a very heavy accent. I asked what it was in regards to and he would not tell me so I hung up. Kept calling back 12 times in less then 15 minutes. My husband took the phone the last time and yelled into it. Have not got a call since, but the day is still young. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE!!!!!

Harrassment as far as I can tell.  We have a telephone for legitimate calls to be received.  We are not in arrears for any debts, and want this to stop NOW!  We are on a DO NOT CALL list - why are these calls not blocked?

The same here, told them that there is no person with the name they are looking for so they switched and are calling from  this number now 18552860304. they said they would not call them as I told them I am not the person but they still do just changed their number. They are both  SPAM and SCAM, calls every week

called the number back again for the 10th time and some guy answered the phone with a very thick indian accent..it sounds like a collection company and told them to remove my number. he said they would remove it. we will see.

i am getting calls from this number as well but i don't answer. when i call it back it's always busy.

i just got a call from this number 877-397-6026, the guy on the other end demanded to speak to my wife as soon as i picked up the phone. i was like want to try and be a little more polite and we'll try this again? he than told me to shut the hell up and listen to him or he would kill me..... than he hung up on me.. i called back, they denied it and kept saying they needed to speak to my wife. police say nothing they can do because a threat is a threat until it is made face to face with whatever weapon or until the threat is carried out i guess.... anyway, whoever this is that keeps calling, they need to be taken out of bussiness.

I have been receiving unsolicited calls from this firm for weeks. I can't really tell what they want because they have very strong Indian accents. Today, I called them back to request that I be removed from their list. They agreed, and I asked them to read my number to me to see if they knew what it even was. They hung up on me. I called back and got the same person and asked why she hung up on me. She said, "I'm sorry, the call got disconnected." She then asked me for my phone number. I gave it to her, then asked to speak to a manager. I told him about being hung up on and threatened to have an attorney call next time.

Keep calling for Robert Jarvis.  He does not and had never been affiliated with this number or address in any way!!!  Call and hang up or call and insist he lives here.

Got a message from Thomas Wilson from the "Fine Law Group".  This man with a definite Indian accent from India (I know this since I live in an area where the area is 60% Indian and by the way, Indian's don't have English/American names).  Anyway, "Fine Law Group" is a front for a collection company that buys discharged/unpaid debt.  Thomas wanted to collect a debt for a medical facility in the Tampa area where a guy with the same first and last name as mine didn't pay his debt incurred in August of 2008.  My name, unfortunately, is the same as the dead-beat the collector wanted to collect from.  Sadly for me, I get this dead-beat's collection calls.  To circumvent further issues with "Fine Law Group:, and if they choose to call again, I will file with the FTC, a complaint.  I have in the past filed complaints regarding collection calls for this dead-beat's collection calls and interestingly the calls stop for a while until a new company buys the dead-beat's debt.

Received a call on 3/30. The caller insisted on paying an "outstanding bill" 4 years after the service was rendered and paid.

I received a call from this number today. The man called had a foreign accent and he told me that they are "Harvard Collection Services". They were searching for a person I knew 15 yrs previously and had no contact with since. They told me that it was regarding a recent matter.  Don't know how they got my number but will be keeping an eye on accounts for awhile.

About 2 weeks ago this number 877-397-6026 started calling my 10yr old childs cell phone, asking for a "Lori". I as well as my daughter told them many many times they have the wrong number that there is no Lori at this number, they apologize and promise to remove the number from the system. And so it continues....... atleast 5 times this week they have called and the next time they are gonna get cussed out then a harassment suit against them.... This world is getting worse by the day! People have even taken it to the extreme to the point of filing your taxes!!!! It's outrageous I tell ya!

I got a call from "Fine Law Group" at 978-788-5659 and they tried to tell me I owed money on something.  I dont have any debt other then my student loans which are current so I knwo I am okay.  He also used my maiden name and I have been married for over 6 years so he is using very old information.  This is a scam.  they just want me to make payments over the phone with a Credit Card which will NOT happen.

I don't know who this man is that keeps calling my cell phone from 877-397-6026, I have told them, I don't know how many different times that I am not the person that keep asking for, and that i want them to remove my number from their list but they never seem to do it. I just want left alone.

I have received numerous calls but, because of the info found here, I blocked their number before ever venturing to answer. I have no outstanding medical claims, so they have no reason to be calling. Getting angry because, I am bombarded daily with CreditCardServices, the pakistani phone scam (see other posts), calls from odd numbers with no message, etc.. I wish I knew who sold off my phone number, they would be getting a summons.

i kept getting calls from 1-877-397-6026 about past er bill, asked them to send me info but they did not. after several harrasing phone calls i told them i had filed a complaint with the mass. attorney general they have not called me since. a rep from mass. attorney general contacted me and after some investigating they said it was a scam.

keep getting  "unknown name" 2314  on my caller id  at home. finally answered the phone some guy with a very heavy acent I'D himself a Jim Smith asking  for me . I stated yes and then he proceeded to tell me that I owe an outstanding bill from 2004 in the amount of $301.00 from Tidal ER in new jersey. I had spoke with this same man approx. 1 week ago, asking him to send me a bill befor I would even attempt to speak with an anonymous caller. he stated he would, but obviously never did. yesterday my son recieved 6 seperate calls from this same unknown number 2314  and again someone posing as a Jim Smith with a Very Heavy Accent. asking for me again. my son supposedly reported them to the BBC. but here today I recieve this caller as stated above, stating that I was harasing his client by not submitting a payment to them via credit card or personal check. I told this man that I would never give  ANY  personal info. to anyone who hides there identity,as I had been a near victim of  phone fraud in the past. I than told him that I wanted to speak to his supervisor. Another man with a very heavy accent again, came on the line posing as Jim Smith's boss, and atated tht he wanted to know if the last 4 digits of my social security number were what he had previuously just read to me. he also asked me for my e-mail address, to which I stated that I was a dinosaur and didn't have an e-mail address. I explained to him about requesting a bill from them or the fine law gruop that they stated they represent, but he told me that he did not have access to that info. and so I said for him to send me whatever he had that was showing my info. for him to be reaching me. he stated tthat I could look up his mailing address on any computer, and so when I stated that my daughter was sitting next to me with her laptop and googled  fine law firm and that it was out of henderson nevada not Endover Mass. he stated that my daughter is not good with researching on the computer and tol;d me his p.o. box 3223 was the law firms adddress and that the 877-397-6026 was the firms number. I told him he was a liar and that there were numerous complaints online about people like him representing the fine Law Firm and that I was going to report him to the better business bureau and hung up the phone on him.

These people have been calling me for 2 weeks.  I have told them that they have the wrong number and that I have never heard of the person for whom they are asking, but they continue to call. I am now filing a complaint with the FTC.
