Please report them to the FBI.

My grand parent saw the flyer on their fax and decided to use them. the person that they talked to was named Rachel. She would promise you everything under the world. They do not take credit cards to book the trip, you must give them your checking account number. They will then take out 400.00 saying when check clears we will mail you your package in 24-72 hours. To move foward with book the vouchers in the package you must them let them debt another 400.00 and so on.
At this point i have my grand parents taking the lose so they dont lose any more money. if you know any of this to be untrue, please reply back and tell me what happend.
UPDATE: So my grand parents put a stop payment on the check and told the bank fraud department about this event. The bank has now contact them to let them know that the company was trying to hit her account.

received fax yesterday afternoon. Interesting to me that the date on their fax machine is 9/2/2011. I'll be reporting them and removing my # from their list.

Hate to break it to you all, but this actually a legit thing. I have a couple friends that have actually called and went on the vacations and said that it was just like any vacation resort. And it isn't a time share scam either. Completely real.

I just received a fax about all their huge deals on vacations, it is very tempting but I know that this has got to be a scam, does anyone even know someone who has booked a vacation thru them? I would really like to know what happened and how it went.

Does anyone really know if this is a legit advertisement? Sounds way to good to be true.
concerned 2011-02-23 16:52:50 Unknown
Did you try to use this company and what happened?
BS 2011-02-22 18:29:20 Fax Machine
I got this too. I get so tired of these junk faxes. A year or so ago got one and the number to call to book the vacation was a toll free number so.........I called probably 75 times. The first call I griped about the junk fax then I just kept calling. I would say things like "I bet my calls annoy you as much as your junk faxes annoy me" then hang up and call back "me again..stop sending me faxes". I had a lot of fun and really got on that guys nerves!!!
Bob 2011-02-21 17:19:07 Fax Machine
Your typical travel scam. Best to call, hear the pitch, ask some questions and then tell them the are illegally sending junk faxes. They don't care but waste their time.

Received a fax from this number, advertising vacation packages. I called the opt-out number.
If the vacations are being offered by a trucking company, that may explain why they are so cheap. You get transported to the destination of your choice riding in the back of a semi during one of their routine runs. Then they dump you when you arrive at your destination. Have fun! :/
Anon 2011-02-21 15:02:55 Unknown
I just got the fax and called. He told me they do the buybacks from vacations from large corporations. he said the name was rsvp. Rsvp vacations is a gay and lesbian vacation rentl. Idk sounds scammish to me.

Is this a legitmate business? When they answer the phone they say, "Reservations". Does this company have a name?
AnneD 2011-02-18 16:35:21 Fax Machine
Callback number on junk fax advertising ridiculously low-priced vacation packages. Opt-out number is 855-467-0211, also to opt-out go to www.number-privacy.com. Yep, so I can give them a working fax number that they'll send another 100 junk faxes. Bah.

scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just received the same fax. These spammers/scammers should be hung by their tongues.
geta clue 2011-02-16 00:07:04 Unknown
An "opt out" option isn't sufficient, they are still violating the TCPA by sending the fax and THEY CAN BE SUED if you can find them.
Are you one of these junk fax scammers or just ignorant or both? Since you don't know what you're talking about, we'd all be better off if you shut up.

They are based in Mexico. They subscribe to US 877 numbers. Here is a site to report these scams:
http://www.419scam.org/419companies.htm their scam is called by the FBI "419 scam".

This company is apparently a trucking company in Texas. If you talk to them (which I suggest, since it takes up their time, which costs them money--just don't give them any of your information!!!), they will refer you to a legitimate travel agency in New Jersey. That agency says the FBI has been alerted and that you should call your local law enforcement agency.
Don't bother with the 1-855-467-0211 number or the www.number-privacy.com site.

SCAM yes. If they come looking for you... you know it.

Also received this fax from Vacation Destination. It sound too good to be true. Does anyone know of anyone who has actually booked them, and is it a scam? They told me they were a broker and they can pass on these great deals because they sell them to large corps and then they buy back what the large corps do not use at an extremely discounted price than what they originally sold them for.
Paula 2011-02-12 06:06:12 Unknown
I found the paper hanging up at work. Wonderful deals! Wish it wasnt a scam

Just got a fax from Vacarion Destination with crazy & unbelievable travel deals. THIS HAS GOT TO BE A SCAM. Who do we report scams like this to. Isn't false advertising against the law?
peter 2011-02-10 14:12:53 Unknown
can we sue them? Ediots
murffski 2011-02-09 14:57:38 Unknown
You can't sue them, they have an opt out option.
