The number I received was 708-337-5842.  Smells like SCAM.

Got the  message from Nick Ball to call back about a new SUV we were a finalist in the contest that we never entered. The call back number was 1877-439-4491.

Just got a call and was told to call Nick Ball.  I don't plan to.  I was trying to find the area code on line to see what state and have not gotten anything.  I HATE these calls!  They should be unlawful!

This is a scam, do not call this person back report it to the state regulators or attorney general office in your state.

Claimed I filled out a sweepstakes entry form.  I NEVER fill them out.  NEVER.

Reported them to DNC Registry.

Got a call from them too saying we were choosen as a finalist for a sweepstakes to wine a brand new SUV. My husband always fills those out to win a new car but I had a feeling this was a SCAM.

Also received a call from someone asking us to call back about a SUV Sweepstakes that we entered.  The thing is, we DID enter a Sweepstakes so I tried to call back but received no answer.  The recrded message said to ask for Nick Ball and the number on my caller ID was 708-679-1806.

Got this call just now and my guys name was Doug Lite....calling about my sweepstakes entry on a SUV that I never filled one out on!  Nice

The call I got was from 708-679-1558 and they called my cell phone and my home phone. I did not enter contest for SUV so I know its a scam. I work for the police department and I urge everyone to be very leary of anything offered for free.

The same scam was dropped on my answering machine. My name is Nick Ball please call me back to get your New Ford Explorer. I never entered a contest and he never said what contest. The ID number was 708-679-1827. The call number left was 1-877-287-7637. The scumbags are just low lifes looking to still information. It's all B.S. here is the original call info:

Same deal - Nick Ball tells me this is my last chance for the seepstakes I entered to win an SUV - Call back number was 877-287-7637 ext 0.

Called me yesterday and didn't say our name but said we had put in for a drawing to win an SUV and we never did. Said his name was Nick Ball and very important we call him back. This number 1-877-439-4491 was what he said to call back on the message but the number he called from was 708-679-0839 which is an Illinois number.

Received a message yesterday on my answering machine from "Douglas Light" about my being selected as a finalist in a sweepstakes for an SUV. I was told to call back and ask for extention 0. I did call back and spoke with a man who said I was one of four finalists in a sweepstakes for an SUV. (I HAD entered a sweepstakes for an SUV a few months ago.)He said I would hear the final result of the sweepstakes in 48 hours. I, too, have been wondering if this is a scam.

I got a call from the same group. The caller id was Sweepstakes Pro with phone number 708-679-1603. The person's name was Nicholas. He also asked me to call him back as I am the finalist for either a Ford Explorer or Lincoln Navigator. I am not to call them. What a waste of time.

Call came in from Sweepstakes Pro (708) 679-0827 stating this is the second attempt to contact me regarding a sweepstakes I entered for a SUV.  Recorded caller said to call this phone # (877) 708-2920 immediately.  When I did call to see who this was it is a recording just to leave a message. ITS A TOTAL SCAM!  They should be prosecuted for scamming people.  Some people may give out the pertinent information
they would probably ask to confirm this!  DON'T CALL THEM JUST REPORT THEM!

WASN'T THERE, BUT HE COULD ASSIST ME.  HE SAID I HAD ENTERED A FORM TO WIN A FORD SUV. HE BECAME
RUDE WHEN I TOLD HIM I NEVER FILL OUT SUCH FORMS.  HE TOLD ME THEY DIDN'T MAKE RANDOM CALLS AND
HE WOULD NEED MY PHONE NUMBER TO VERIFY WHAT PRIZE I MAY HAVE WON.  I TOLD HIM I WASN'T INTERESTED AND PLEASE TAKE ME OFF THEIR CALL LIST.  HE SNAPPED BACK TELLING ME I SHOULD STOP
FILLING IN FORMS!! I FIGURED IT WAS A SCAM AND JUST WANTED OFF THEIR LIST. WE'LL SEE HOW SUCCESSFUL

Received a voicemail tonight  - 9/29/09 - at 7:33 P.M. - same nasally voice - telling me it was imperative that I call him back to win my new Ford Explorer/Navigator.  The phone number, however, was 708 679-0757

Oh, my God, the same guy just called me - same nasal voice - can't remember what name he said - I deleted the message, figured it was a scam - I did not enter to win anything!  Good thing I found this board...Thank you.

I received a call from Pro sweepstakes saying that it was the last time that they were going to try to contact me for winning the SUV.  I never entered any contest concerning an SUV.  The call back number was 1-877-439-4491.  The caller ID was708-679-1447. I did not call back.  I am on the no call list.

Nick is still calling with the same scam.
I,ve received calls on Aug 4 and 6th.
Nothing in his package has changed.

08/18/2009       04:27 PM       From       708-679-1364      CHICAGOHTS,IL       00:57         but Doug Lite with the nasally voice said the same about winning the Ford Explorer etc, best interest, supposedly filled out something to win, and blah blah blah.  Left the number 877-708-2920 ext. 0 I never fill out anything because we all know its just a scam to get your number.  Ugh!  I'm also on the "Do Not Call" list, a lot of good it does.  It was left on my machine, but didn't even say who won, just you.  Well there is 4 of us and none of us are calling it back.  God Bless and thanks for having this site, it makes it easier to track down these scams.
