They keep calling my phone asking for my husband and never relieving who they are. I just got a call today saying we are gonna be served for something we don't even know about. They never tell me There names or the company they work for. Our phone #'s are not listed so We have no idea how they got them. They are harassing my family and causing allot of grief.

Gave name as Scott Ryan "officially notifying" me, and everyone within ear shod of the answering machine, of their attempt to serve court papers for "passing bad checks" to a person with the same last name as mine. Geez! I hope no one with the same last name commits any other crime. And for you, Mr. Ryan, if you are a debt collector, you just violated the FDCPA. I hope you get your a** sued! The number is listed to "Titan".

This is Titan Collections LLC in Phoenix, AZ. They did the same thing to my mom who is 70 and a widow, called and told her she was being served and to meet him somewhere. THEN he called her friend who is going through breast cancer treatment and told her my mom was writing bad checks. I called and told them they were using illegal collection practices and said I would sue. We are sending a "drop dead collection letter" -- you can find an example on Clark Howard's website. These guys suck.

i recieved a call from a blocked number by a guy named tony house.. he said he had some papers he needed to serve me to go to court for writing a bad check.. he left this voicemail on a friends voicemail.. my friend was very upset.. when i called the numeber he gave and asked for tony house the company claimed not to know me and said they can add up to three times the amount on file.. when i asked for tony house information so that i can meet him for the court summons they said they use 1000 of process servers so they dont know who called me.. but said if i could make arrangements to pay then they will fax a hold to whom ever had my account.. so i asked they send a fax to same company to call me so that we can make arrangements to meet for court summons and they refused.. sounds very shady to me but im getting an attorney to look at it.. i think these are just shady collection attempts..

Oh my gosh! I got a call just today from the same "Tony House"  and he called my parents house!  I called the number to speak to someone (several times) initially I set up payment arrangement and then retracted because I figured it was a scam. I spoke to a 'Michelle" a Zena and some other manager who threatend me with "a summons" and demanded my debit card number before they sent me a bill. I told them that if I the bill was legit, I would pay it, but I needed something in writing and in the mail.

I got a call from these whack jobs, too.  Michael Jacobson told me that they were investigating fraudulent checks associated with my creepy former step-son.  I have been getting calls about the little weasel (who I haven't laid eyes in in nearly two decades), for years, because he used my name as a credit reference.  If anybody had actually checked with me, I'd have told them to stay miles away from the jerk.  Now these moron collection agencies harass me constantly.  I recently got a new phone number and thought I'd be done with the crap.  Hah!!  The more honest you are, if your credit is good and you live your life like you have nothing to hide, the bigger your chance of being dogged by these idiots.

Same deal except I get a phone call and a text message.  The txt read: "You've got a new voicemail from Unknown Caller. Preview: This is Jim.  Goldman, I'm currengtly conducting an investigation.  Regards some fraudulent activity account today.  Jose to units several supplies to contact you know, this individual.  Please have him call plaintiff immediately at (877) 440-6822.  Regards, case number, 525073 Thank you.

I recieved a call from unknown caller and no voicemail.  Immediately after I recieved the above txt from a local number.

Just got a call from them ,and like others I have not had checks for years. saying I was Officially Notified, but it was a womans voice sayin she was Annette Smith.. I think something needs to be done about these fake harrassing calls....Still have her voice on answer machine...ill save it.

the women has called every day for the last 2 months claiming they will show up at her place of employment and that they are going to have her put in jail and its the exact same story as the other posters

Who is Michael Jacobson? Why is he trying to serve a summons for bounced checks? With the advent of check cards, EBT, internet banking and good ole cash why write paper checks? Haven't written one of these dinosaurs in umpteen years, and never had one of rubber. He didn't identify himself as a law officer, so who is Titan? And why does M.J. want to meet me? Mr M, if you are reading this, Get a Life!

Received a call from 877-440-6822 saying i owed money for a check loan. They would not send me any information about the debt. and were asking all kinds of questions. said i was going to be summonsed to court...

someone from 877-440-6822 and also 888-390-4260 has been calling UNLISTED family members home & cell phone numbers. he says he is with ADR, his name is JOE BLACK and that I have "been served" - ON VOICEMAIL. I have never taken out any loans (except from my bank and that was paid back) - I checked my credit report & there is nothing showing up that is not mine - I do not know who they are, how they got my family members' cell phone numbers or why they are harassing my family. This guy called my son's CELL PHONE and left a message for me.  THEY ASKED MY SON TO CONFIRM MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER. Some how they got a cell phone number for another family member and the phone is in someone else's name not even associated with me. How do you stop people like this from calling other people's cell phones about a debt ypu do not owe?

Got a got call from Titan Corporation 877-404-6822 saying that they were going send me to a process server for payroll advance I never recieved. They had wrong address and only a partial SS#... I think they were fishing for info...
