| Bruno 2013-03-02 04:06:37 SMS |
Al Rubenbauer aka Alois Rubenbauer is the brain behind this madness. He and Mark Lyon are rich b*****ds and they make their money by hurting your pocket book. I'm sure they found ways around this, but they are currently located in Midvale Utah and they are also known for Flux Marketing and Tower Advertising Group. Al's number is [removed] and Mark's number is [removed]. Tell them hi.

I never knew there were so many stupid people on this earth. Really, someone calls you and tells you they are going to send you a gift card, but you need to give them money first?
All those that provided their account info deserve to get ripped off!
You people are so unbelievably stupid!

PEOPLE! Stop looking in the mail for those long-promised "Gift Cards" that you were to receive for participating in a survey...they are not coming! I too was texted from a number saying that if I called and answered a few survey questions, I would get a GC for the place of my choice. If you WIN something, you should NEVER need to provide a credit card. I've been in marketing a very long time, and I can tell you first hand, that when a marketer is soliciting you for survey info in exchange for a prize of sorts, the marketing firm will ALWAYS pick up the cost of said marketing campaign. We are happy to have people participate in our campaign, therefore, would never ask them to pay us for helping us. Doesn't make much sense, does it?
I have to say, I did call them number and had the guy on the phone give me a call back number, which he did. I put him on hold and called the number and it went to voicemail. I asked him why, and he said it's because they're only open 9-5 EST. Second, he specifically asked if I had a Visa or Mastercard to get "my prize/gift card". I said sorry, only have Discover. He then says, "That'll work too". LMAO...it was pretty funny.
When I asked, "How do I know this isn't a scam" he had a well-prepared answer about how "a lot of people are concerned, but if I am unfortunately taken by scammers at some point, to call the bank and they'll reverse the charges...blah, blah, blah..."
Be aware people! This guy sounded like a young 20-30-something from the United States. I detected no accent, and he was relatively charming. DO NOT BE FOOLED. Don't let these thieves take another dime from hard-working people. THEY are the ones who need to get a real job and make an honest living, instead of ripping off us.

You've been chosen to receive a $200 Shopping Voucher & discounts at ur favorite stores! Call 877-775-0527 Only available in next 10 minutes Rply Stop 2end
I called and spoke to a gentleman named Michael and he said the name of the company was called "Customer Rewards". They asked for a $4.95 processing, shipping and handling fee which would take 7-10 business days to receive. They said I had a choice of a couple stores to choose a card from, but when I Google'd the phone number I read someone had not received their voucher aka "Gift Card".

company goes by multiple names even employees ain't sure of name but at attorney generals office they are listed as :
Consumer Credit Group, LLC
3985 Gateway Center Blvd Ste 220
Clearwater, Fl 33760-3759
AKA Customer Rewards Solutions
Regional Research
Name on front Door Is Alliance Marketing
in 2009 they went by name Impulse Marketing
they prolly have some other names too I am unaware of.
They send out text messages promising everything from gift cards to (Wallmart, Target, and cash reward cards) to jobs paying $100.00 per hour to be a mystery shopper.... They have multiple inbound numbers.... they get peoples info to send these messages out from surveys people compleat online.
NEVER EVER COMPLEAT A SURVEY ONLINE FOR A CHANCE TO WIN A GIFT THEY ARE SCAMS.
They use big company names like wallmart and target to interest people.
After you pay for your gift they then try and sell you upsales for other companies they have partnered with the companies vary and some if not most of other companies are scams to they include.
Magazines Direct ( time magazine ) yes i met them.
Great Fun and Shoppers Advantage ( Affinion )
United Benifit advantage & Identity theft Protection ( they charge peoples CC before their trial even ends from feedback I have heard from people who signed up for it)
Chronicles Magazine Club
At one point if u didn't take a trial they would instruct us to cancel your order but they never refunded moneys unless customer complained to much... recently they instructed us to send order through without upsell.... they also offer USA Money Club a instructional booklet to goverment grants cost 69.95 plus 9.95 shipping cost totaling 79.90 they mail them invitations via regular mail inviting people to call and claim government money then if we can't get you to pay that price for it they call you back later offering it at 50 percent off plus 9.95 for shipping.
They also partner with vitamin supplament companies and infomercial tv to call their clients who didn't purchase to offer them items at lower prices and try and sell them a discount club or magazine club after they get their cc info for a order.
And they scamm their employees as well paychecks have bounced all over the Saint pete, clearwater and tampa area.
Oh and from what i have heard they have offices in Main, Dominican Republic as well.
They currently shut down Clearwater office supposably because Affinion wouldn't pay them and all the Clearwater Employees are owed 2 weeks pay so far they never paid them nice right before holidays.
So thats all I know But Baynews9 our local tv channel has been made aware as well as state department and attorney general of florida so please feel free to contact them as well they all have a open case on this company.
