I just got a call from someone named Tim saying he is with the Clerk of Courts of Palm Beach County and he is a process server.  He wanted to confirm with me that I am at work.  He said the papers were faxed to him and they asked that I be served "at work".  He asked if I ever talked to these people if they pre-warned me and I said, no.  He said he doesnt like to blind side people at work.  He said they are filing criminal and civial charges against me.  He said he is required by law to call me ahead of time since it is criminal.  This doesnt make sense.  Why would a process server give a supposed criminal a "heads up" on a Summons???  Sounds like a scam.  He gave me the name of the company "serving me" PCS 877-844-5383.

These folks are calling at least twice a week indicating if I don't respond by noon of next day they cant help me. The last guy that called said his name was Brian Donovan and that he was with "CMAG", whatever that may be

You CANNOT be arrested for not paying your bills.  They can sue you civilly, but it's not a crime.

This company, "CMA Group" is one of the worst at all violations and yet somehow, they calim they are doing all things correct. They have called numerous people with my same last name, even non relatives or friends...just random people. (Found out through one friend that someone with my last name asked HIM if he knew me). They have told each person that I supposedly owe money and will be "Served" if I do not call back in not more than 3-hours.

I called them and they proceeded to tell me about some sort of debt from 7 years ago and I had amased all sorts of extra fees. They told me this was now a criminal case.  The threats started almost immediately. They will stop at nothing to extort money from you and will tell anything to anyone who will listen.

Got the same thing myself including a reference case/file number, I figure if the "state" is going to serve me papers... they will without calling anyways and know where I live. I shouldn't have to give them my information to serve me papers. In the message they even claimed they didn't have the company information from where the charges were coming from... PLEASE!!!! If this were real, they would know!!

I also had my lawyer call them on my behalf and they didn't realize she wasn't me; then they threatened her and said they were going to put their lawyer on. She claimed she was a lawyer and they hung up on her. Then when she called back, they started yelling at her and she informed me that this is indeed a scam and to ignore them. She said she's gotten these calls from clients before and mentioned that they will eventually go away when you don't respond. They are all scare / scam tactics.

Also they called from a "Blocked" number, if it was a legit company it wouldn't be "Blocked".

Called and left a call ref# 38555, dang scammers....will make a report for fraud.

Do not pay a dime to those people. This criminal organization is based overseas and is composed of convicted swindlers and the like.

Do not be fooled by their professional demeanor and attitude. They are a professional criminal organizations.

On 5/13/2011, I had a message on my home machine from this phone number saying this was a message for Chris Anderson.  That is not my name.  They said that they are returning a call for a complaint filed and gave Ref# 252-83.

Same deal here.   They appear to be calling around trying to personnal information for potentially using for identity theft... BE CAREFUL AND REPORT THEM ASAP !!

My friend's parents keep getting a call from whoever this company is, they stated that they are from the Civil Claims court and that if I didn't call them back within 24 hours a bench warrant would be put out on me.  I have called them several times and up-dated my information, but they keep calling my friends and harassing them instead of calling me.  The last time I tried calling them, they hung up on me.  I don't want these people whoever they are, cause they are clearly not with any state court system, calling my friends about my credit problems.  Call me if you have a problem with me, not my friends or their parents.

this company called my son in a town 80 miles from me to say i owe them for a payday loan they gave some supposed file number and and pending legal case against me would not give any other info i asked for  about the company  or who i supposed owed, fyi companies like this find every person with the same name  and try and scare anyone or all persons of the same name to pay and they keep all the money they scare folks into paying, i intend to have it investigate my the attorney general in my state

I just got a call exactly the same as "J" above... I called to verify the company name and they wouldn't give it to me... what a scam!!!

Some one called my sister in-laws house and left 877-491-7513 and some case number wanteing to set up a time that i could be served  PROCESS SERVERS DO NOT CALL !  there was no company info i reversed looked up number and no luck finding  info

Some guy who sounded like he had a voice changer called my ex in FLORIDA but stated a California address for me. Then said that if I don't call within 24 hours that legal action will be taken against me and gave a case number 28888-11. No identifying information about the company was given. Sounds like a total scam!

An unknown number called and left this in my voicemail as a call-back number.
No organization name was given.
A woman identified herself as "Rebecca" and said something about verification of a process server, and legal action pending against me.
A 5 digit "case number" was at the end of the message.
I have received nothing in the mail indicating that I should have concern for legal action.

Got a call from these people again today. It is a recording and it says hit the 1 button if I am this person(which I am NOT), but I am sick of them calling me, so I pressed 1. they gave me a number and a case number for the person they are trying to find. I asked who the company was and the gal gave me the name CMA Group.

They call every day.  Automated voice asks for someone named Joseph, which isn't me.  No idea who this is or what it's about.  VERY annoying.
