Call regularly, leave nothing on ans machine. We've learned to just ignore it.

I work 3rd shift so it's really annoying when they repeatedlty call even when I tell them I'm not who they are looking for.  I did fix it though.  I called them back and when the guy answered I kept calling him other names from what he introduced himself as.  Finally, he got upset and thats when I told him using every expletive in the book that it's the wrong number.  He hung up and when I called back, viola, number out of their system!

Is anger and foul language the way to handle everything?  No, but in this case it worked and frankly it was more than called for.

I also went the unlisted number route and somehow they are now calling again.

I wonder if they compile phone numbers and call everyone who has a active phone number on file.  

I have no collection accounts as my credit rating is over 800.

I had only 1 collection account in over 30 years of reporting and that was over 25 years ago when a hospital did not send me a bill for services. I paid the collection agency in full and got a letter from them to submit back to the credit reporting company to get it off as they say they will and never do it.

This company keeps calling my mother's house looking for me. when I call the 800 number gthey leave back I get " We are sorry but our system is currently down, please try again later." I don't care how early or late this is the message you hear.

OOPS! It was Acme Company that called -- forgot to mention that (it's Friday and I stop thinking after 4:00--sheesh!)

They're calling my work number just about every day after 5:30 pm when I'm already gone for the day.  This is a new number, 2 months old, and the calls just started.  The recording doesn't even make sense -it's using a combination of my company and some abbreviated name - so it's not like they're even looking for a real person.

This automated number keeps calling my house over and over, I can't even understand who they're trying to reach.. Kim somthing.. No kim here, but the damn thing keeps calling.  They work banker hours apparently, and I'm not available to call them.

Just moved with an unlisted unpublished number.  Somehow this agency found it and the calls have started up again.

This time they didn't leave a message on the VoiceMail, but set it up so as soon as I got home and picked up the phone to dial a number - there was their message about debt collection.  No name, no number.  Weird.

TIRED OF REPEATEDLY HARASSED CALLS EVERY DAY AT HOME NUMBER # (301-515-3231)    DESPITE LISTING WITH NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY.
