I just called them back.
It's wells Fargo, and they give you the option to remove your number from further solicitations.  it's all automated so you just key in your phone number to confirm you want to be removed.

OK, the previous comment made me laugh really hard. I could use that after receiving something like six or seven calls from this number, ALL of which were hangups when I answered.

These people WON'T quit. Evey time I start top pay off my credit card, they lower my credit limit then have the balls to call for me to use more of their services. Beware!!  Tell you're friends and family to finance elsewhere. They also had the nerve to ask to speak with my husband when they were told I was not available. He ISN'T even on the account I have with them!!!

I totally agreed with Aggravated.  Wells Fargo is the biggest joke around.  You dialed the number you either get a busy signal or a message informing you how to be taken off the list.  this year along I must have gotten at least 60 phone calls.  I have requested to be taken off the list for the last 4 months.  The message tells you it will take about 5 days for the calls to stop and 30 days to be taken off the list.  Yeah right!!!!!

'toll-free-call'  they never leave a message, so if it's not important enough to leave a message, I don't have the time to listen.  They are now on my blocked calls list!

They called my cell today and did not leave a message.

got a call from unknown number asking for me by name, Husband said I wasn't here. If it is Wells Fargo, I already told them to stop calling me. arrggg.

I'm so glad I thought to check the internet to figure out who this number belongs to.  They have been calling me daily, during times I am at work, and not leaving a message.  My home mortgage is with Wells Fargo, maybe that's how I got on their beloved list.  I plan to also call them back and ask to be removed from the list.  Thank goodness for caller ID!

I phoned the corporate offices (866-878-5865) they are a***s!  Hung up on me four times.  I finnaly got a hold of one corporate individual and my account privacy settings are set to never receive another solicitation from them.

I would like to stop daily multiple phone calls from this number.

Get numerous calls from this number daily, and it is most aggravating.  According to this website, it is Well Fargo Telemarketers.

I have already told them we are not interested and not to call anymore, but still average 2 to 3 calls a day.  If I do not pick up they let it ring until just before the answer machine picks up, so I have reduced the number of rings to just one, maybe if I can frustrate them they will stop the nonsense.

I do not answer 800 calls, no messages left, very annoying. I will call and get my number off their list. I will also take my banking elsewhere!!!!!!

Same here.  This call is Wells Fargo or a marketing company representing them.  I called back and followed the steps to remove from my list. Takes 5 days for this offer and 30 days to remove from all marketing from this company. Well worth it to avoid the multiple calls per day.

I am called EVERYDAY from this number. I just called the number back and it is Wells Fargo soliciting business. When I called they asked for me to punch in my phone number if I didn't wish to be called again and they would take me off of their list within 5 days. All of this was of course done through automation. I am a 20+ yr customer of theirs and this is very aggravating and invasive to my privacy and makes me want to discontinue my accounts with them. I plan to call and speak to a manager and tell them that if they call again they will lose me as a client!!!!!!

I get calls from this number. It is a promotional call from Wells Fargo. Their business is home mortgages, personal loans, insurance, mutual funds, etc, etc
