We received a phone call yesterday from Terri Heller offering exclusive advertising for trade.  Said she needed an answer that day, explained to them that I wouldnt be able to look at info until today and check with our owners.  After calling the TV station they claim to advertise with and the race track they are supposedly creating Nascar calendars for, neither company had heard of these folks. Decided to look up the phone number on google and see they have had several complaints and seems like a scam. Buyer beware....

Received a phone call from this company NBAI (she told me the company name was National Business Publications) yesterday saying that they wanted to put us on their best of the best business advertising calendar, and asked me if they could speak with the owner, I said he wasn't in and that if you could send an email to him we would both receive it (because I  get his emails in my inbox also) then asked her to call back tomorrow, I went back to work and forgot about it. I just received the return phone call today and the lady who goes by the name of Shawna said that she had spoken with Joseph yesterday (which is not true) and that he seemed interested and that she had sent him an email which I also knew wasn't true having not received that same email in my inbox. So she left her name, phone # and ext. Having already been a victim of advertising scam by ADCOM (which goes by several different identities) I decided to do a reverse lookup on the number and wasn't surprised to see that they have several complaint against them. I have not agreed to any advertisement with this company nor does our company plan on doing so. Let this be proof of that should they try to come at me saying we did. My philosophy is that if I need something I can get it for myself I don't need anyone calling trying to sell me something

I received a call from this number today *Kris* is her name. I offered to take a message for the owner of the company, she would not give me her last name, did not tell me the name of the company she worked for either, when I asked what the call pertains to (?) she just said 'recommendations".

I been receiving calls from a Dan Lewis 305-851-6494 ext 119. who works for regional debt recovery. (I googled the company and can't find the company. I also called the number and the answer was corporate center and pressed 8 for directory to find it said yellow pages

Well, I was told that my account of 2 years is due to end and now they are looking for payment. I said to them I don't ever recall doing business with them (national business advertising for SEO work). Personnelly I don't know any company that would wait 2 years to get paid for services, I said, his responce was well in case you change the program they can change the billing.

A week later this Dan Lewis calls me up and said good news I got them to lower your amount due to 529.99. I never asked for that. He then asked for payment again either checking account information or credit card. I told me neither, He then starting to geet mad with me and tried to bully me into paying.

First of all when I google National business advertising if they are a SEO company why doesn't their link come up on the first page????  All I see on the first page is better business bureau with conplaints and the various issue that other people are having on forums like this one and ripoff report

Scum bags. Do not answer this call, they have been haunting me and I have been told in addition to other things, "go suck a ****, you obviously are a slu*, what no one got you flowers on Valentines day, etc..." they are extremely harrassing, this is a scam, and they have been reported mulitple times I don't understand how they are still able to operate in a such a manner they shouldn't even be called a "business" they are a joke. Don't waste your time calling back, I have had nightmares with these people. They literally call back to back to back, try hanging up they will call you right back, said I will take a message, still would not stop calling, same caller every time, Casey extension 105. These people should be shut down without a doubt. Especially after reading all these other horror stories! This website is wonderful. Thank you all for posting and hopefully this helps you as well.

Received a voice mail from "John Carroll" asking for a return call at x106.  I saw the posts that everyone contributed - thanks so much.  I know that it is a call that appears should not be returned.

My husband and I own a septic tank service. I received a call from this number and was unable to answer so a woman named Kristy Kirby left me a message.  She stated that she was calling about septic tank service and I needed to return her call to 877-507-8626, ext. 125.  Seemed strange to me so I Googled the number and found this blog.  Thank you so much for all the information pointing to a scam.

I just received a call from this number. Approximatly 8 years ago I was to niave and agreed to do advertising. I was just starting up and desperate to get my name out. I did receive some printed material from them but they would not return my call or hang up on me when I wanted info on when the TV advertising would begin.  Please be careful.

I received a call from this number trying to sell advertising and suggesting we were chosen etc.  I asked for more info as I never do business over the phone with unknown parties.  I gave her the business email to send me the details, she called herself Amy and said I had only minutes to accept so I declined.  Everyone knows if it sounds too good to be true and you must make the deal without any documentation nor a proof of the ad, it usually is not to mention the fake urgency.  To no surprise she never sent an email with additional info as promised and since I did not agree to anything hopefully I won't receive a bill from them.  She implied she was connected with the local Fox affiliate and Tulane basketball, but after checking the number it is National Business Advertising and is rated a F by the BBB.  We might have been interested in advertising had we actually been given a contract with the details specified, but the cold call trick of you must accept a verbal deal immediately always guarantees that I will say NO, as a real deal would allow you to review a contract with specifics and not have to trust some unknown person over the phone.  Thanks for this service, as I wanted to warn others.

Received calls from this number trying to sell advertising to my business.  I did agree for them to send me additional info (sample proof and advertising schedule) WHICH I NEVER RECEIVED, and then a week later received calls wanting payment for the advertising.  Was told I was going to be sent to collections if money was not received.  Representative (Rod Connelly) had the nerve to actually start cussing at me and repeatedly called me a dead-beat for not payment my bill.  Advised him I never agreed to make payment only that I was interested in getting more info and a proof and then I would make a decision.  I have never purchased or agreed to purchase something over the phone or buy anything sight unseen.  Beware.
