these people are not even on the map--try googling them or their phone number -they dont legally exist.  They cannot show up at your home or your work -only the law can serve you--and if they did show up and not a sheriff,--thats called loansharking and that is ILLEGAL.

They cannot show up in any court for a payday loan, in most states because they would have already ripped off your bank account for every cent that you had in it before they started to call. Payday loans are also prohibited in alot of states.  Most people who fall for the payday loan scams wind up losing more than 4 times the loan before they wind up closing their bank accounts.  And most courts will not support these "lenders"  because of their tactics.

Yes if you take a loan -pay it back, but these people are not legitimate--

I have been in collections for many many years, we try to help the customer not scare them - and when you cant find a company on the internet or the phone book or the better business bureau, somethings not right. Report them to the FTC, the department of banking and insurance, your states Attorney General and the better business bureau and see how fast they will leave you alone.

I have been in debt collections for almost 10 years. Though it's not the most ethical job in the world, it's still a job that needs to be done. Payday loans, credit card loans and student loans all have one thing in common..they are loans! They need to be paid back! I agree that there are right ways and wrong ways to go about collecting these debts, but don't try and play the victim because a collector got stern with you. It shouldn't be on us to get YOU to pay YOUR bills. You look at us like we are the bad guys; just remember it was your lack of moral integrity that landed you in debt in the first place. I AM NOT justifying the actions of immoral collectors, but I am saying that a lot of you need to get off that high horse you are riding and own up to your responsibilites.

Alex, you are a shill! Shame on you for lying! It says down at the bottom of the page, only post truthful information! And I also noticed that you misspell the same words as "William" in the other Compact Solutions post for 877-400-0259. This is not a legal company! Why are you trying to tell people otherwise? Do you "work" for them? Just to state that you didn't go to prison? YOU CANNOT GO TO PRISON FOR A CIVIL MATTER!!!!!!!!!!! Stop trying to make people believe that if they settle with "Compact Solutions" they will be okay! All they'll be is SCAMMED! Why don't you just sell drugs or prostitute yourself like all the rest of the "honest criminals" out there? At least then people would be giving you their hard-earned money willingly! I hear those offenses have shorter prison terms than extortion anyway...

I recieved a call from this number. I called back in and talked to one of the reps there. He was nice but I didnt remember the loan he was claiming I took out so I disregarded it. Well sure enough three days later a man calling himself Aaron Lewis called me, and said he wanted to set up a time and place to meet. I told him to meet me at my home, and 3 hours later he showed up and served me with a summons. I was able to resolve the issue in court without prison or anything (they apparently handle civil matters) but ended up paying 3x what I owed in court costs and attourney fees. Was I scammed and can I sue them for this?

They also called me with the same thing...I went to the Broward County Courthouse and asked about a case against me and I was told that unless I get a letter from the State Attorney's office or a police officer serves me that I do not have to worry about it. So I would advise you all to look for that State Attorney's letter snd if you do not get it then don't worry about it...Compact Solutions is crap! Also look up how you can sue them for calling you and your family.

They called my house looking for someone named Jeremy with the same last name. They claimed to be Don Asher wanting to serve legal papers. The answering machine had picked up and they left a message. They said several times "Jeremy ********* you have been notified" They said to call back or they would serve papers on him at his work or home, they also claimed to be trying to serve very important legal papers. He identified himself as Don Asher. I tried to call back to inform them of their error but got an automated operator which answered "Compact Solutions" then asked me to enter my party's extension if I knew it or press 0 for the next available representative. I pressed 0 and it disconnected me. Isn't it illegal to falsely represent yourself as a process server?

I received a call from unknown, let it go to voicemail. They said the message was for my girlfriend and that she had a lawsuit pending against her for writing bad checks (?). They said to call back to this number, however reading online it seems this is a very common scam to call someone threatening a lawsuit because of a 'debt'. Is there anyway to verify these claims? I'm about 70% certain this guy is trying to scam me
