Please stop calling me from this number. Especially on my cell.

This company keeps harrassing me for an insurance debt I don't owe. The insurance company said they called NCO to tell them I do not owe anything but they keep harrassing me and calling my cell phone. I asked for an e-mail address where I could send proof and they said they didn't have one-BOGUS! I am sick of the unwarranted calls! They are rude and continue to run up my phone bill. I want the calls to stop!

this number called this morning and was a recording...did not identify who it was and the caller ID showed up as unknown...who knows....cant stand these calls!!!

NCO Financial- they have taken over defaulted Student Loans

This number is NCO Financial.  One of the companies they collect for is Comcast cable.

This nimber calls with it"s ID blocked. It is NCO Collections. I don"t andwer.

Shows up as an unknown number on my called id. The automated message says to call back Mr. Parker. I don't a Mr. Parker and don't return calls that refuse to state their business.

wanted me to call back a Ken Parker.  when I called back they said ken gave my name as a reference.  I asked a reference for what and they said it was confidential.  I expl they won't get nothing from me unless they give me info.  Tuff Luck for them............

was in the hospital a year and a half ago,out of work  tried sending monthly  payments to hospital and they turned me over to NCO  .they call me constantly please make them stop

They call me at LEAST once a day, usually twice. I've never answered because it shows up as "Unknown". They leave a partial automated voicemail saying it's an attempt to collect a debt and that I need to call back to speak with the law offices of Mr. Huckman?? Uh, no. Stop calling me!

I am really sick and tired of receiving these calls. I refuse to answer any automated calls. And when I am polite enough to do the return call they r nothing but rude and disrespectful. Who is this 'Alex Hartness' ...hat anyway? 3-5 calls from 7:30am to 730pm, only peace I get is when I turn phone off, only to turn it back on to 5+voicemails....
Any idea on how to get these ppl to stop harassing?

they called a business cell phone - a computer voice said "hello, goodbye" and hung up

Calls at 7 and 8 in the morning, I don't answer because I don't have any debts, I disabled voicemail after they attempted to leave the longest blank voicemail possible. Found this address for them that appears legit too.

They want post dated checks... which according to one bank employee isn't entirely legal.  I refuse to give them anything, if they aren't legit....

How do I make these idiots stop calling me??

Right now I am going through a hard time paying everything. Husbands hours got cut and so did mine. I am also 8 moths pregnant so I can't get a new job! Just got a letter in the mail from this NCO then all the sudden the phone keeps on ringing! I am NOT going to pay them. I am going to pay Progressive. My car broke down so they took away my insurance away and this is the balance owed. Which is hardly nothing. (Less then $100) I know I should just pay it. And I will. Just right now it is either eat or pay them. My kids come first!!!  I wish in this economy they would leave us alone!

I too have gotten calls from NCO claiming I owe money to progressive insurance,which I don't and they say to call MR. Ferrera. When I tried to call back, I was on hold for 20 minutes and no progess. I figured if they were a legitimate collection company, they would send me a statement not just call my cell phone a billion times and leave automated message.

NCO just sent me a letter stating I owe over $7,000 to an apartment I lived in. This is bogus since I
never got a letter from the apartment.I have worked with NCO before--they have hundred of companies under different names as shown on my letter.

But NEVER give them your account over the phone.I asked to make partial pymts. (after I got proof of the charge)/ She would not accept partial payments. I did collections before and this is because the rep wants a bigger commission check based on what they collect. She would not even give me the address to send a parital payment. I said are you refusing a payment? So I found the address myself --sent a letter with a partial payment using a money order, and wrote how I was threatened into paying the whole bill.Because by law if you are making an attempt to pay they can't take you to court/ So they don;t want partial payments  because it shows you are attempting to PAY. If you don't make payments they can take you to court.Thus don't let them bully you. you have aright to set a payment plan, but do it by mail to the company not  the collector

they are a collection agency for progressive. they call constantly, even though I have set up a payment plan for the amount owed. I had sent a $50.00 payment to Progressive and they said this would stop them from turning it over to collections, but they did anyhow. I will definitely be writing to the CEO of Progressive to complain about this.

they have called us every day in February 2010, and left a nuber and mentioned about mr, ferrara, i think this is a scam. I would not talk with them.

They have been calling non stop! They call me only to tell me to dial another number. If they wanted to talk to me then why aren't they calling me from the other number??? They have called up to three times in one day or they call at random times EVERYDAY! I wish they would stop!

they bean calling me for a last 2 weeks, the automated system is telling me to call 'em back, now they left a massage about some mr. fererras debt, and I have no clue what  are they talking about and never heard about any ferreras. So whats a point to call me???

They call on my cell and home phone.  If this is NCO Financial as some reporters say, then they use different numbers when calling.  There was no caller identification on this last call which was to my cell phone.  Who is NCO?  I do not have any outstanding debts--medical, etc.  My house and car are paid for.  What do they want?

called our home today looking for our son, were very rude and hung up on me when I asked questions. i called them back with the number they provided and they ask me why I called when they just talked to me. told them not to call againg and they said "OH YEAH". how professional is that?

I had a call too. They said they were from NCO financial, a debt collector for progressive. The woman wanted me to give my account number over the phone. When I offered to make a payment personally at any office she said the office was located in Canada. She wouldnt even listen to any reasonable offer. I do not want to give my acc/routing number over to someone like this. Is it safe to transfer money over the phone?

I called them back after I received a recorded message from them. Apparently, they were looking for another person entirely, as I have had this land line only 6 months. They were professional & said would remove my number from their records.
