It's a collection agency!

PLEASE STOP THEM FROM CALLING ME

I just got a call on my work phone from these people, I tend to get calls from this # every few months, they either say that I have 24 hours to call back so that they can set up a time to serve me??? First of all, you don't call to set up a time to serve anyone.  Today they mentioned something about Citibank and crossing state lines, who knows, most of the time they give me a "case #" to reference when I call back, today they left a claim # starting with BMG, I have no idea who this is but some days it can be very annoying, especially when they do cross checks and find my out of state relatives and contact them.  But for the most part, I ignore the calls because little do they know, they sound like complete idiots especially trying to quote legal language and I work at a law firm.

I picked their call up on my anwering service.  The woman was abbling on about receiving papers from the County Clerk's office and they want to serve me.  She was name dropping and the information was either incorrect or very old.  They obviously got hold of outsated records.  Anyway, please do what I did...REPORT THEM ASAP and do not waste your time with them.

I just received a phone call from these scammers saying I owe from a payday loan in which I then stated all my payday loans were Included in my BK chpt-7..he tried to threaten me with a lawsuit but I didn't fall for it and then I started questioning him at that point he got frustrated and ended the call plz don't give them any information. THEY ARE SCAMMERS

We also filed a case with our police, the FTC, and have handed their information over to our lawyers.  Anyone else who gets called from these fakes should make sure you get their names and information, have them spell it out for you, ask for their address, and then hang up.  Head to www.FTC.gov and file a report about them.

Scam Collection Agency!!  Got a call today from them. The number they told me to call back to was 877-546-3633 and the "law firm" was Weinburg and Associates representing BMG for a payday loan. I called them back and spoke to the previous caller named Richard Jaworski. He informed me that I had a pay day loan from 2007 that needed to be paid or I was going to be served. I informed him that his information was incorrect and I wanted proof of the debt to be sent to me directly. He said he was trying to give it to me verbally. I said that was unacceptable and I asked for their lawyer's license information and he said he would transfer me to the lawyer. I waited on the line and got a Kenneth Strieber who would not give me his license information though he claimed he was an attorney, told me that all he had to do was tell the judge that I was uncooperative and they would win, and that the case has already been decided in their favor I just need to appear in front of a judge. I laughed and said that was not how it worked and he said "Really? Are you a lawyer, how would you know?" I informed him that he might have had some of my information but that the PayDay loan was not mine. I've never taken one out. I have also been a stay at home mom since 1998 so there was no way I could even get a payday loan. He was trying to speak over me but I would not stop (using their tactics) and he eventually hung up on me. Definitely a scam company and someone I will have my 1 year old speak to the next time they call.
