You must work for them. These people threatened to take my children as collateral and said they would use force to get the money. I called the bank, police, and everyone else I could think of. Nothing was ever on my bank account from these people. Sean said he was coming but like the p**sy he is didn't show up. He's lucky. Had a gun ready for his scumbag a**. Touch my children and I will blow someone's head off! So f*** them and f*** u.

RH group called my number by mistake looking for Debra Aaron. I called and te them I was not Debra Aaron and didn't even know her. They continued with the harassing calls.

This is really starting to piss me off. This guy Ryan Franklin (who was yelling at the top of his voice when we answered finally) called my husband, mine, and my relatives phones PRIVATE NUMBER 20 times today. Just a hour ago 4 times in a minute. Stated that he had a summons that was faxed over to his office and he was going to serve it to my husbands supervisor (where he doesn't work anymore) or our previous  home address (where we don't reside anymore) within 25 minutes and that my husband only had a short period to take care of the matter. When asked what this was concerning he stated that he didn't know because it was a sealed summons. BUT WAIT.... I thought it was faxed over just that morning? How can it be sealed summons if it was faxed? He also wouldn't give my husband or myself any information about the company he worked for or was calling from and told us to call this 1-855-332-2985 and gave us a case number. So we called the number and it was for RH group or RTH group. We never talked to anymore from that number as we know this is a scam. PLEASE WHAT EVER YOU DO DON'T SEND THEM MONEY OR GIVE ANY OF YOU PERSONAL INFORMATION OUT TO THEM. I don't know if there are any steps we can take to take care of these scam artists but we will have our lawyer call them tomorrow if this s*** doesn't stop.

Frank mitchell keeps calling me saying he had a summons for me and will seve me at work or home and has called me at work and family members numbers. I googled the company rh group and see it's happening to a lot of other people. This needs to stop. There's so many scams out there it's ridiculous

This is almost identical to the call that I received - I, too was caught off guard- gave them info and they debited nearly 900$ from my account just before Christmas. I then looked them up as soon as I finished with work and found that this was a scam. I filed a police report.

They called my ex=husband and his wife and threatened them.  My son called the 877 number back from my phone and the guy was unpleasant, demeaning and combative.  Then the original caller, Paul Lewis, called back on my phone and I answered.  Unfortunately I am an attorney.  He would not answer any of my questions regarding his qualifications, the address, the name of the creditor etc.  I told him if he did not answer my questions then I would hang up.  He continued with his allegations and I hung up.  These people do not have the credentials that they claim and do not provide the information that they are required by law to provide.  I for one will ignore them as long as they do not call me back

First off a payday loan can not be a crime if not paid back. Don't let these scam artist scare you into thinking that.
Aslo, NO process server calls you to warn you ahead of time that you will be served, nor do they offer to let you settle for a smaller amount.
Any collection agency must provide you within 30  days from time of request a letter stating whom you owe, amount, account number and must show the orginal creditor. After you make that request they CANNOT contact you again til you have recieved that letter.
If they tell you they can't send you a letter til you make a payment that is a red flag. (I had that happen), I informed that lady that was the law and she said that is not how they operate.
Also, if they tell you that you must pay over the phone to them with a pre pay debt card from Walmart that is a big red flag.
Becareful and don't let them get to  you.

Received a call on my cell phone from a "Brian McKim" at work, asking to speak with my son.  I told him that this was my cell phone and that my son did not live with me.  He disregarded everything I said and proceed to almost yell at me that if my son did not call him back; there were serious legal consequences.  I have been harashed by who ever this is for two days.  I had the number blocked, and they then proceeded to call me using a "private" number.  the phone number is from 855-677-8948.  I told them that I was going to report report them to the BBB.  What can be done?  I also searched for info on the computer, but could not find any.  How do I go about getting rid of these nuts?  It is a little scary.

It is nice to read the first posting. FYI the number RH group is using  now is 1-855-677-8948.  I searched for it and there is no comments on it yet.  So this means its a new number.
I received consecutive calls from Ryan Franklin informing me of the same thing and gave me RH groups number as the complainant.  Called them and was told the same thing.

To the person above (screen name lol?) who says the people calling are just doing their job...NO THEY AREN'T.  It is a scam.  It just happened to my daughter today.  They called her neighbor, saying they wanted to have her served...who then in turn called me.  I called them to see if I can help resolve it.....turns out it was a supposed $735 PAYDAY loan that she defaulted on...when in fact, Payday loans are illegal in Maryland so it was impossible for this to have even happened. The lady, Lacy, told me they'd take $500 to make it disappear. Spoke to my friend who is a lawyer, and he said no one will take you to court and spend thousands to retrieve a small amount like that.  He went on to say to ask for a copy of the signed contract, to check signatures.  My daughter called and asked them for that and they said they couldn't provide that.  No one came to serve my daughter, nor will they.  It is a scare tactic. How many people would just whip out a credit card to "make it disappear?"   Oh, yeah, they pulled some relatives names off the internet and claimed my daughter gave their name as a reference for the loan.....funny since she doesn't really know them that well and they are distant relatives in a far away state.  Last little tidbit, this happened today, and they are now sending ME the threatening calls.  It is being reported to the Federal Trade Commission AND Attorney General.

just got a follow up call from the rth group. Has anyone actually been served by these people. I checked my bank records and didnt show anything for a loan deposited to my account on the date they had, or for that amount, nor from a place called direct advance. The processor servor said he was giving my one last chance to day and good luck. I know it sounds shady, but also nerve racking at the same time. Any clarity or insight would be highly appreciated, and releiving

Got a call from a processor server saying he has a summons for me and to call this number 8775498205 said his name was Ryan Franklin. Gave me that 877 number to call and some case number. Said i had 30 min to contact this number. Happened to be RTH group, talked to a man named Kyle McCormick ext. 304. Said i am bieng charged with fradulent use of checks and defrauding a banking financial institution. He would  ot provide his tax id number or address. He said i needed to make a payment right now and set up payments for future installments. Had my account number part of my social my home address, the whole works. Contacted the court system in alaska to see if i had a summons and they had nothing, without a case number. The processor server in anchorage ak, so he says, wouldnt provide his number or a case number. Does anyone have rock solid info that this is a scam of all scams?

they call me saying i need to give them $480 or im going to jail the number was 1-855-279-0554 they even called all my family they are a joke dont listen to a thing they say you can not sue them so no point in trying because you will never find them they use fake numbers and most likely dont not live in the US the only thing i can tell you is not to answer or say dumb stuff to them they hate that lol i mean if they want to call you all day just play the game back then they will stop calling you it worked for me

They call from an unknown number and left a message, called back at 866-239-0475 and received numerous treats and that the sheriff will be serving me.

I recieved a call from a different number but a SEAN DAVIS this morning. It was interesting because they called my parents house, which I have never used this number. I answered and said I wasnt home. I got a phoney case number and being though the court process several times I knew that there is some kind of lettering infront of the case number if this was legit. He said I needed to call the RTH Group and that it was my last opportunity before I was served a summons. Immediately I felt like this was a scam because I know what my debts are and I know who to contact for them. Needless to say I might have some fun with this one. :)

This company keeps calling me about my ex-husbands debt. When I tell Amanda White that she needs to call his number and not mine, she says that I must still be with him or they wouldn't have my number. I'll play their little game and start hanging up on them. Let's see how they like their own medicne.

My daughter received a call from SEAN DAVIS with the RTH Group stating he was also a process server for the State of Florida and gave her a phone number to call and a phoney case number. He was looking for my future son-in-law stating he had a warrent for pending for his arrest for writing fraudulent checks! That's funny since he hasn't hada checking account in 5-6 years! Then it became $300.00 he owed to a cash advance business. Story changes as it goes along! Well, we are a law enforcement family and have restricted phone numbers and addresses so the question now is how did you get this info on my daughter??? She is with CSI as an investigator. She isn't even the wife of the son-in-law they are trying to harrass!  We researched these idiots and boy what a find....THEY ARE CROOKED AND FRAUDS. If you call the numbers they leave it sounds like you are calling a fast food place and placing an order it is so noisy! These people must be lined up like bookies calling clients from a horse track! They talk like back hill people with the intelligence level of a mushroom if that. The threats are just what a state employee would use in order to join the unemployment ranks.To make a long story short...I notified our local PD and they got involved. The word is out and hopefully some arrest will come out of this. They are harrassing elderly people and taking advantage of other unsuspecting people to make a quick dollar.They are also involving peoples families to frighten them in order to try to EXTORT money from INNOCENT victims. Are there that many heartless, lying, cheating, preying, animal like people in this world to do this to others to make money for themselves? How does it feel to be the scum of the earth and do someone else's dirty work to make a dime? This is how people can get hurt or even worse. Sometimes you may try to screw the wrong people and you put yourself and your family in jeporardy. Remember that things can work both ways. If it walks like a duck and sounds like a duck then it MUST be a duck........always check into everyting that you don't think sounds or feels right!

I told them that they needed to send me hard copy before I could peak to them and I was refused. I was told that they do not do do hard copies.
