Got phone call said they were with Verizon. Wanted to know my cell & password.I asked why if fromVerizon why did they need my cell number & password. They said to go over my current plan. Sounded like prank call. I hung up. They called my landline. Why would Verizon have my home # & not my cell #??????? Shame on Verizon if this call came from them.

It's Verizon. They're making a sales call to try to get you to"upgrade"your plan. They want to get some more of your money. They don't care how many times they call because they're not paying for the call. The people who answer the phone pay for the call. That's right, 877 prefix "toll-free" calls charge the person who receives the call not the people who make the call! Like many people nowadays if I don't recognize the# or if the id has been altered I will not answer the call. That now includes all calls from 877 prefix will not be answered!

I get a call from this # several times per week. They never leave a message. I don't know who it is because the caller id says "Unknown" for the location. It sounds like multiple people on this site say it's Verizon. I *do* have Verizon Wireless and FIOS service already so I wouldn't be a bit surprised to hear they were behind these calls :(

This number calls regularly and always hangs up when I answer. I called the number back at found it was Verizon Wireless.

Need to stop calling. I do not answer calls that do not identify who they are. Caller ID is wonderful for helping screen calls.

They call everyday, no one is ever there when I answer and they want me to upgrade my phone, I have repeatedly requested they stop calling I am not interested in a new contract

No one is on the line when I say "hello" and now I learn that only the receiving party pays for an 877 call. Probably Verizon because I have an antique phone.
