Got a call from this number telling me I would get a $100.00 credit if I renewed my contract. I told the rep I already renewed. Then he asked for my password and social for verification. I hung up on him. In all the times Ive called Sprint or they have called me, theyve never asked for my social or password. I called customer service (*2) and the rep confirmed my suspicion. He took down the number and gave it to his supervisor who promised to investigate.

They offered me a 10% discount to renew for 2 years. They didn't ask for any personal info, however. We'll see.

Caller is SPRINT PCS, probably a computerized call because it hangs up as soon aas you answer. I called the number back and got a hold of a SPRINT rep who proceeded to hang up on me as soon as I said I wasn't interested in extending my SPRINT contract. I then called SPRINT Customer Service (*2 on SPRINT PCS phone) and complained. CS rep claims she made an entry in my customer file that I did not wish to recieve such solicitations. - We'll see how long that lasts!
Note: Based on the "Caller Type" selections available below, my closest pick would be telemarketer --- it's SPRINT calling it's current customers to try to talk them into extending their expired contracts.

I initially missed the call and called back. The person that I spoke with said that she was with Sprint's customer appreciation service and offered customer loyalty credits toward my next bill. I will see if this is true on my next bill.

This is Sprint calling. They left no message and when I called back, I simply get "the office is closed" message.
