unknown number calling

I did not call him back nor did I engage him in conversation.  I work for a law firm and know that the DEA will not call you before they come to arrest you.  I guess people fall for it and that is why they continue being able to scam people out of money.

I called the FDA and the DEA and filed a complaint and gave them the information that I had.

An officer Pena called me from 562 472-0253 claiming that I had ordered prescription drugs 5 years ago. He said the pharmacist was in jail for 15 years and now he was going to put out 2 warrants for my arrest. Then wanting money to settle this claim. Scaired me terribly until I realized it was all a scam. Why hasn't he been stopped yet after all these complaints. I hope no one sends him a single penny. How evil people can be.

The DEA knows about this, which is just another extortion scam.  Don't waste your time; don't call them back.

Just BTW:  The DEA wouldn't call first, under any circmustances, and certainly wouldn't solicit a bribe.

Also search 562-472-0253 - People claiming to be DEA agent, threatening to arrest you for ordering medication over the internet if you do not send money.  FDA says it is a scam!

Do not fall for it.  The person that called me used the name Officer Pena.

This impersonator said his name is "James Capra" the DEA threatened to throw my a** in jail and get indited to Dominican Republic if I dont pay them. Who is going to fall for that???? Tell that dumb-a** that you are going to report them to the authorities.

They said the were frome the DEA, and a warrant would be issed if I didn't call them back.

he scamed me out of 675.00 dollar's saying it was a collatral payment, then once i sent the moneym he wanted another 600.00 dollar's. i said i wanted a refund, and he said it woukld take 7 day's. well it has been 30 day's and no refund. and the toll free number has been out of service 3 week's now, no way to get on touch with him. anubody have another number for tom clark???

I applied for loan on line and was approved. The request from them was to pay the insurance on the loan either after the loan is sent or I had 3 months to pay it? is this a scam or real His name was Tom Clark of hard money. Anyone know?
