Both my husband and I got this message
"message alert: C.U. account limited call 888-666-9135
The sender was 400000@vtext.com

I received the following text message:
"Notice : C.U Account restricted Call at (877) 574-3057 to solve the problem"
The sender was "818@tmomail.net"

I just got this text today at 2:43pm today (8/24/09) from "3596":
"805@tomail.net / / Your
Credit Union Debit-Card is
limited Please call
877.574-3057
to solve the problem."
This number does not match any of the numbers on the T-Mobile website (under Contact Us), nor do I have a credit union debit card on file with them. I don't even belong to a credit union! I don't know what's suddenly going on, but I really suspect this to be a phishing scam!

I received a text asking me to call this number because my "credit union account has been locked for verification." This is clearly a phishing scam, I do not recommend calling the number to check.

got email message to my t-mobile phone. don't know who these people are. i don't give out my cell number to creditors. says credit union account.
